Pros: Bought the 2012 and 2013 CF5 -11. The 2012 was the hotter bat compared to the 2013 model. The new CF6 is a very impressive bat. Watching my daughter hit with it makes me believe it is hotter then the 2012. She is tall but has a small frame and can easily bring her hands through the zone with more bat speed and power. The ball flies off the bat for deep line drives.
Cons: Hope they fixed the durability with this model and will last longer then the 2012 CF5.
Pros: Nothing bad to say yet. My daughter was using an Easton Synge 30/18.5 She said the bat feels lighter than her Easton. CF6 31/20 she's crushing the ball. Added so much more pop. the Easton was a very good bat. Definitely no comparison. This bat is perfect for her. 10 years old 4'9" 100 lbs. She will have this for a couple of years.
Cons: Expensive, but I think I bought it at the right time. So two years should give us our money back in the long run.
Pros: Bought this bat to replace my daughters Xeno! She loves it, great balanced swing and the ball trampolines off the bat, even her miss hits off the sweet spot created base hits. All around great bat money well spent!
Pros: Bought this bat last week for my daughter to replace her 1.5 year old Worth 454 legit light. She is 11 years old and 70 lbs., so it is hard to find a good bat for her to use in travel ball. So glad DeMarini came out with this drop 11, we got the 30/19 and she will still get about 2 years out of it. As a coach, I cannot stand a girl trying to swing a bat that is too big against 50+ mph pitches.
My daughter fell in love with this bat at first sight and swing! She has been jacking the ball in the outfield and hitting nice line drives and hot grounders. In less than a week, she has at least 100 hits on it and you would never know it was right out of the wrapper! She also commented that it does not hurt as bad when you hit one off of the end like other bats. Thank you so much Demarini for finally making an amazing, well balanced bat for every age and size!
Cons: The price was something to ponder over, but once I see how much my daughter loves this bat and is hitting just as well as any other girl on the field, the cost is not a concern!
Pros: My daughter is on a travel team and this bat is AWESOME!!! We buy all our bats from here and I never write a review. My daughter hit it to the fence 3 times during a tournament. This has been the best bat yet we have bought!!
Pros: We are a DeMarini fan. We have had 9 total bats with the CF3, CF4, and CF5. The CF5 was the only -11 we have had until the CF6 -11. Very pleased with the CF6 so far.The hottest out of the wrapper of any. Will promise that! Has completely different sound and feel. Hope it hold up!
Cons: None so far except price. Just came out so no discounts.
Pros: Last year my daughter used the Vendetta and loved the feel and balance of that bat. We decided to upgrade this year to get more weight and 'pop' as she is a good contact hitter. Definitely see an improvement in distance and she didn't have to adjust her swing to any change in feel and balance.
Cons: Not really a con, but the sound of this bat is distinctly different then the CF5.
Pros: Bought this bat for my daughter who's a slapper at the 18 gold level, she was looking for a light weight bat with lots of pop.. Nothing but good things to say and has now enlisted the "power slap" to her arsenal!!
Pros: I bought this bat mid June for my daughter. She plays 8u, 4'6" and weighs 84 pounds. She has used the new fs3 and singe but neither compares to this. I bought her the 30" 19oz.This bat is much hotter with more pop! She also likes the grip better than the easton. She has gained at least 20 feet when she has a good solid hit. I normally do not write reviews but this is a great bat!
Cons: The price was a little high but if your going to play use good equipment!
Pros: Daughter plays 12U and has been leading off all summer, but bunting a majority of the time. First weekend of fall ball, double and triple along with three bunt singles. Nothing has changed in her swing, bat has some pop to it.
Cons: Price, but worth it when it comes to her increase confidence at the plate.
Pros: Tried 32/22 LXT, 31/21 CF5 INSANE, the one x when it was legal, the 2013 xeno (warranty replacement for one x), and a drop 10 versions of this bat that was given to my daughter by her demarini sponsored team... And so far besides the illegal one x this bat (cf6 drop 11) has had the best hits... Not to say I have noticed good pop on the purple Zeno at tournaments and I might just let my young one try the mako at batting practice for fun...
Cons: It's a light bat so people might pass it up but my daughter is playing select 16u as a 13 year old and is really strong in upper body so adding bat speed has seem to be the best answer for her... She loves this bat
Pros: Purchased bat for daughter after being victim to all other select teams using this bat and absolutely crushing the ball. With huge flaws in swing mechanics, the other girls still out hit most of those girls who have great mechanics but a subordinate bat.
Daughter switched from a 2014 M2 Pride because I initially thought all otehr bats were too heavy for my 7 year old player. Researched and found the 17oz and I immediately made the switch.
Out of the wrapper, OMG!!!!!!! Increased velocity by at least double of what we saw with the M2. Caused enough attention that other girls on team started using this bat and though it was too small for most, but they enjoyed absolutely crushing the ball!!!!
Cons: One miss hit off of the end cap and the bat was sent (and still there 2 weeks later after demarini received it) in because of the dislodgment of the end cap. Warranty is in effect but the time it takes to repair bat is a big concern!!!!
Pros: This bat isn't just for young softball players. My 17 yr old daughter plays both high school and 18A travel softball and uses this bat with fantastic results. My daughter does not have as strong an upper body as most girls her age and had some trouble catching up to 60 mph plus fastballs with a minus 10 bat. This was the answer, same composite as the minus 10 Demarini's, lighter weight allows for faster swing speed. Ball sails off this bat with short break in time. Daughter finished with a .611 batting avg. after the high school season and this bat was a big reason for it. Need faster swing speed, give this bat a try, you won' regret it.
Cons: I have been through two of them in the past 4 months, the end caps starts to wiggle out then there is a gap between the cap and barrel. Then it starts cutting balls. If you hit a lot of balls off of the end of bat keep a check on the end cap.
Pros: Great feel and well balanced. Creates a nice, smooth swing. My first hit with it was a homerun over center field fence. I've had this bat for 4 months and have hit 8 homeruns with it so far. Amazing bat with lots of power and pop.
Pros: My daughter has had this bat for 8 months. It just now seems to be getting broken in. She is a contact hitter and hits line drives and ground balls that are to hot for most infielders. She is 10 and weighs 70lbs and loves her bat.
Pros: This bat is hot out of the wrapper \. However, my daughter has had this bat for 8 months and used it all winter it is just now breaking in. She is 11 and when we are in the cage her line drives move the L screen. She hits bullets that most infielders don't bother stopping. Batting average is through the roof.
I would not recommend spending this much money for rec ball. If your daughter plays travel ball you know the drill its expensive.........
Cons: My 11 year old & a 10 year old team mate busted their brand new bats a week apart. One was maybe 3 weeks old & my daughter was only used in one tournament (was not even 2 weeks old) :( wish I could add a pic up here of my daughters. One more swing & it would have been in 2 pieces. It cracked all the way around. Scared to replace it with the same bat???!!! We also always keep our bats inside & not in the cold.
Cons: My 11 year old daughter almost broke her bat in half after 1 ball tournament & was using it at practice. One more swing & it would have been in half! Her team mate cracked hers after just 2 weeks also :( They have so much pop bc the barrel is so thin. We are replacing it with a Hope Edition 31/21. The one she broke was the Sprite bat 31/20. Hoping the 31/21 is made better!
Pros: My 10 year old daughter has been using this bat during tournaments. She was using another players cf6 for several months. We decided to buy her own as she was doing well with it. Strait out of the box, with no use in practice yet, she batted 818 in the first tournament with some very hard line drives deep in the outfield. She has been in select ball since she was 5 and this is by far the best bat for performance she has ever owned. She has used miken freak, rain, halo, catalyst and 454 legit. They have nothing on this bat. She is tall and lanky with barley any muscle mass. Any help the bat gives is a huge pluse. Thank you De Marini
Pros: My daughter is the smallest player on both of her 12u teams, at 4' 10". My daughter just moved up from the zephyr and the bustos, bot -13. Well my daughter is a strong girl for her size so she can swing a 20 oz. and her old bats were too light and were dead. So at batting practice I noticed that she was ahead of the ball most of the time and when she did time it right, the ball just didn't fly like it used to. Well, my daughter had been researching bats recently, and originally she wanted another bustos, but I said she should upgrade, so we were thinking about getting the cf6, the xeno, the mako, the worth legit, the lxt, and possibly the vendetta. When I looked at the prices, the Mako and lxt were gone, and I thought vendetta all the way. But then my daughter said she needed a -12 or a -11. So, it was down to either the vendetta, the worth legit, or the Cf6. Well at the time the legit had only one very brief review that said, "Good bat!" So since we are weary at getting bats or
Cons: What else? The price!

anything that we hadn't seen in store before without reading reviews, we decided against getting that bat, since it was obviously less popular. So my daughter tried both the vendetta and the cf6, and while seeing my daughter hit with the cf6 I decided I would get it for her as a present. My daughter then used it at her first game right out of the wrapper, literally took off the wrapper at the field, and hit her first legitimate home run (a rocket to left field, hit the fence) in this higher level, as she is 11. Hard to imagine how hot this bat can get later! Thanks demarini! (By the way, get this bat at amazon if you want a good deal, for $210)
Pros: We received the bat today. So we went to the nearest park to test it out. She hit 15 ball off the tee with her cf5 then she hit 25 balls with the new cf6. I'm not going to bore you with the details. But the balls were literally jumping off the bat. With this bat she is getting better range 8 to 15 feet.
Pros: Never really considered buying a $200+ bat til my 10 yr old daughter hit with a friends CF6 over the winter months. Didnt really think it would make that much of a difference, but boy was I wrong. Bought her one for her birthday and now she is hitting 10-14+ feet further than before. If you want your child to get serious, then dish out the $$$ and get this bat.
Pros: Hot bat , great feel !
If you want a Hot bat it comes at a cost . The hotter the bat the better the odds it will fail at some point . Our team understands that and we go thru them . Broke 2 this weekend and 5 in last 3 months . We use the CF6 and Xeno exclusively and they are equals IMO . Order this bat thru just bats.com and take advantage of their easy exchange policy ! Typically we have our bats back in 2 weeks . If you are strapped for cash and want this bat to last 2 seasons then you need to choose something other than the CF6 or Xeno . Go with the wood Louisville slugger ! Lol
Pros: Great pop, very balanced, looks cool. My 11 yo 4'9" hit her first over the fence home run and made it look easy two weeks after getting this bat. Her grounders are harder and line drives are 20 foot farther with the same effort.
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop. My 7 year old is about to turn 8 in two weeks and she is tiny. She is supposed to be swinging a 26" or 27" but we got her the 28" and she is killing the ball. She would always get on base but now she's getting triples and home runs! She has been swinging Easton and Louisville Slugger since 4. Now were never going back.
Pros: Bought this bat 32" 21 oz. for my 12u player. She was using a 2012, -11 CF5 that had tons of pop. This new bat sounds totally different. It has more of a click than a thud sound. Since it is new, and not broken-in yet I'm still holding out for better results.
Cons: Im not totally convinced it’s as hot as the CF5. Barrel material seems harder and not as much bounce off bat.
Pros: Everything about it, this bat is terrific, my daughter plays in tournament ball in Pa.. We recently had a Round Robin this past weekend. First time other than soft toss she used this bat was this game, pitcher threw a meatball down the middle, actually I think she went for a riser but didn't rise enough and my daughter put it over the fence. when she returned from running the bases, the next batter had it in her hand and so on and so on.... each one with solid shots around the field and hard shots in the infield. She and the team love this bat, a couple of the dads joked and said now they were going to have to buy there daughter one.
Cons: Nothing, well maybe that the team wants to use it!!!!! Lol
Pros: My 12 yr daughter plays competitive travel softball year round and she loves the 2014 CF6. She outgrew her 2012 CF5 which to this day is still a hot durable bat, but this bat is hotter and has more pop. The ball flies off this bat to me better than xeno.
Cons: My daughter has cracked 3 different 2014 CF6 -11 in 7 months time frame. She is waiting on her 2014 CF6 -10. The wall of this bat is supposed to be thicker. I sure hope so.
“Think twice...maybe three times before buying this”
Cons: Durability is horrible...12 yo daughter cracked 2 in 2 months...only used indoors in heated batting cages...tee work, soft toss, front toss...kept in house...seems like a manufacturing defect across the board with this bat
Pros: Bought this bat for our 8yr old daughter. By far the hottest bat out of the wrapper we have ever seen. 80% of the kids on our team now swing it and other teams ask to borrow it when we arent playing. The ball literally POPS off the bat.
Pros: Good replacement for CF5. -11 bat, so it's very light.
No idea on durability, as we just got it. We hope it's made as well as all of the DeMarini products. As everything we buy from them delivers.
Pros: Very light bat for a faster swing. Something your daughter has to get used to after a couple of swings. Very good pop for a contact player. This bat is probably not for a power swinger as most of the weight is mid range. My daughter has been hitting over 2nd base if she catches it right in the middle. Some of our other girls have used it and hit off with no problems. My daughter is 11yrs 4"5 and about 90lbs.
Cons: Price is pretty high but so far is well worth every penny.
Pros: Bought this bat for my daughter this week. Took the wrapper off and stepped in the box. First pitch line drive up the middle, second pitch line drive off the right field fence, third pitch over the left center fence! I'm thinking this bat works for her.
Cons: I would say cost but watching the ball fly over the fence is priceless.
