Pros: kinda similar pop to the freak but its really really good.
Cons:
Katy Cowboy
Pros: Just got my son a 28/18 RZR, had a 27/17 Rival, has more pop, Sound is awesome, and he says the weight distribution makes the bat feel lighter than the Rival. Graphics are cool too!
Cons: Grip is average.
Anonymous
Pros: I love it. Has a lot of pop. The boys are hitting a lot harder with it
Cons:
Hambone
Pros: has more POP than Rival! Rockets off bat like Easton Stealth!
Cons: None
Batman
Pros: Sounds good when hit.Well balanced
Cons: Paint chipped after 3 games in one day
bigd
Pros: Good pop,and sounds good..
Cons: My boy is 12 and he has 31" 21oz and after the first 2 tourneys the bat has two flat spots were it dented..
six
Pros: Incredible bat. More pop than the rival and the Prodigy.
Cons: Hard to keep the rest of the teams hands off it.
Anonymous
Pros: All I can say is wow, what a sweet spot. Son hit ball to the wall off the handle, not even the barrel. Amazing jump off the bat.
Cons: That it is available to everyone. What an advantage for anyone with this bat.
Coach Marc
Pros: Got this bat in a 27/17 for my 8 yr old. It has great balance and amazing pop. Used it for only 3 games but hit the fence with bases loaded in one, just missing a home run and hit first home run of his life, oppo over 150 foot fence in last Pinto playoff game. Not using in All Stars as it has 2 3/4 barrel.
Cons: None thus far.
Jason
Pros: Bought this for my 8 yr old. He's 60 lbs. Bat feels lighter than 17oz. Grip is good, nice barrel size and cool graphics.
Cons: I haven't seen good pop yet. I was hoping to see better pop than prodigy, but none so far. I would buy different bat next time.
Rays#1
Pros: Great Bat, Lots of pop! Very balanced & swings easier than some smaller big barrells!
Cons: none!
T-Dog
Pros: great weight distribution and nice pop off the bat. Definitely seeing improvements in the quality of hits from the boys using this bat
Cons: like one of the others to submit a review, the labels (paint) began to chip off after the first game. Miken needs to get this resolved in my opinion. It does not affect the performance of the bat but over time is going to take away from the looks. I can envision the lables being completely gone after one season of use
KcTwinskid
Pros: this bat rocks lots of pop and sounds nice when it hits
Cons:
pd
Pros: I really like this bat. Very well balanced and nice sweet spot. The ball really reacts well off the bat.
Cons: I purchased the 28/18 and wish that I would have purchased the 27/17. My 6 y.o was not ready for the xtra length and weight but he should be ready this spring.
kiki
Pros: Great bat hot right out of the wrappers. We play coach pitch and kids were lighting up our pitching coach. Thanks
Cons: Non
Bonzo
Pros: So far we haven't found anything "bad" about this bat. It has a great sweet spot and it really makes great contact with the ball. Both my sons and I have used it in batting cages and it really connects, unlike other bats it seems to really pop the ball....
Cons: So far no complaints at all...
tscsz
Pros: my son has used this bat now for a couple of months and I have to say im very pleased with the purchase. everyone on his team uses either the rival or lithium and this bat can compete with those bats. it has just as much pop as either bat. this bat is very well balanced.
Cons: bat will sting hands a little on miss hits but not to bad. the barell length is not as long as the rival.
Bman
Pros: This bat has nice balance and pop.
Cons: I have always purchased bats from the top brands, but took a chance on this one due to good reviews and price. The first bat has a rattle in it and the cap was popping off. They were great about exchanging for a new one. My son used the new bat in the cages today and the paint was coming off in flakes with every hit...there was a debri field in the batters box! The bat has great pop, but looked horrible after 2 rounds. The entire Miken sticker was gone. My son is 9 and about 67 pounds, so I would expect better durability for someone his size and strength. I am going to pay a few extra bucks for a brand that has held up year after year in the past for us. I think if Miken can figure out how to paint this bat correctly it will be a good one.
Coach Eric
Pros: Bat has great balance and POP! My son is 9yrs old and has been crushing the ball with this bat.
Cons: Bat dented after couple of months and paint chipped badly.
BaseballFreak!
Pros: This Bat is absolutely amazing! My son had a 30/20 and first two hits were bounced off the fence! I think the Miken RZR: SLRZ10 Senior League has the best pop in the world!
Cons: You can't have a con with this bat!
Coach Eric
Pros: Great pop and well balanced.
Cons: Dents easy. Paint chips easily.
Zach Attack
Pros: Off the fence, in the gap, down the line, massive POP, Enough said.
Cons: none.
Coach Bill
Pros: This bat is very well balanced and my son has hit over 200 balls with a lot of pop!
Cons: None
Pav
Pros: Good pop, good grip
Cons: paint chiping off after first use
YANKEE FANS
Pros: My son loves this bat. The first time he picked it up, he hit a home run with it. All I hear from my son, is how much he loves this bat. He has told all of his friends and they also want to use it.
Cons: Nothing, my son has nothing bad to say about his Miken....
Fernieq
Pros: We ordered two bat packs all were the RzR bats we played in a USSSA tournament last weekend the whole team used them and we had a combined 8 homers including my sons very first the bats have amazing pop we have the Louisville TPX Omaha 2012 with the same weight and length my son said it feels lighter my son loves his new bat
Cons: None so far
Sam
Pros: Bought this bat for my 10yr. His first hit was an absolute missle. Good pop in the bat.
Cons: None at this time.
Casey "T"
Pros: Nice Bat, good pop. My son used an Easton Sv model before. This bat is same size and length but he feels it is lighter. He swings with more confidence. Ball jumps pretty good, big sweet spot.
Cons: Graphics chip fairly easy but graphics don't make the ball go so who really cares!
Bat Man
Pros: This bat is amazing.Gotta love the pop with this bat.All my 12u teammates want to use it. I just tell them "Get Your Own".
Cons: NOTHING AT ALL
doug s
Pros: none
Cons: Don't fool yourself, this bat is a coach pitch bat. It will not hold up to kid pitching. It is also 2 3/4 barrell size, which won't be legal in most tournaments. This bat is already denting and they have dropped the price 3 times. That should tell you something. Tried the Easton S1, it was awesome, far superior product. Cost more, but it will be more productive than this toy bat!
mmm
Pros:
Cons: its good if you hit the sweet spot but anywhere else leaves a nasty sting.plus the barrel is extremly small so its hard to really jack one with this bat.
Michael R
Pros: Bat ahs a ton of pop!!! Very well balanced my 12 year old loves it. We have two of them since he plays on multiple teams. He has about 500 swings on it and the bat is holding up great. I have not noticed any of the other issues that some reviewers have. TIme will tell we start playing in 3 days.
Cons: None so far
unhappy
Pros: Bat looks nice has a lot of pop
Cons: After only using the bat for one weekend the paint started chipping off right away very unhappy with the quality of the paint on bat and customer service is terrible they would not take it back only exchange it even though it said on the reciept that it could be return with in 90 days.
Crushers
Pros: Light Bat good pop
Cons: Bat is junk. had it replaced and after a few hits bat got the same loud rattle inside.Bat is not built for bigger kids with power.
seth
Pros: this is a cold bat sweet spot awsome
Cons:
jaw.littleleaguer
Pros: my son likes the looks a lot. he swings this 28-18 well. it seems to have some pop but who knows with all the new restrictions, if its more or less than other bats.
Cons: scratches & chips quite easily.
Homewrecker
Pros: Great pop. Well balanced, not end heavy like other bats. Son plays 8U and half his team is now using this bat over their $200+ bats. Considering getting another one or the 2013 version.
Cons: None that would make me not buy this bat again or recommend it to anyone else.
ChiLLer
Pros: it's only been a day but i got this bat and the pop on this thing is flipping AWESOME, also the grip is sooooooooo amazing so far it's an amazing bat i'll be making updates but so good so far!!!
Cons: none so far.
CHT
Pros: Light weight, well balanced , lots of pop! My son has used this in the virtual cages (real baseballs)and hit with great bat speed (well balanced) He is in 7-8 players pitch using the 28 18 bat
Cons: None so far.
yo mamma
Pros: nice pop good balance couple of big hits I prefer it
Cons: just about 20 big hits already dented
L.D.
Pros: Looks cool
Cons: The grip end came off in practice with an eight year old behind it.
AMO
Pros:
Cons: Unfortunately I cannot agree with the many positive reviews on here. This bat has nowhere near the pop as the Easton Rival and S3, in my opinion. Also, it cracked rather quickly... I am sending it back today under the warranty. I was hitting fly balls to the team with this bat, and then the S3... I would estimate the S3 was carrying 20 feet further with the same swings...
JJ
Pros:
Cons: THIS BAT GOT ME home runs
ron
Pros: it has a good pop and grate power
Cons: the paint chips every time i hit the ball and it has no control
steve
Pros: Price, size and weight.
Cons: Our team has 3 kids that play with this bat. Even when they hit it hard it seldom leaves the infield. No pop. I'd recommend spending another $50 and getting a different brands full alum senior model if in the market.
#21
Pros: Great bat huge sweet spot!
Cons: bat broke after 2 months it had just a little crack at the top and hit a big fly to center and then it broke right where the ball hit the barrel
jim
Pros: handling,weight balance,look's cool !
Cons: none
drock
Pros: Beast bat awesome pop great design overall it has no dents for my son in 6 months im loving it!
Cons: nothing
Stryker
Pros: Cool Brand
Cons: Dented like a pop can the first week!
Coach Bob
Pros: Nice Balance, good pop when new.
Cons: Bought this bat new for this season, noticed a rattle after about 8 games, rattle seems to have left, but ball just dies now off the bat. Paint chips quickly too.
MikeC
Pros: Bat has great pop, sounds great
Cons: My son started using in 2012 (got bat for Christmas) and by March it was cracked!
Dicky O
Pros: Well balanced, great pop, plays lighter than actual weight. My 8-y-o, 80 pounds, big swinger, loves the feel, we're on bat #3 because of durability issues, but Miken is always quick to replace if still under warranty--great investment for only $99 if you can handle being without a bat for a few days during each season when you're getting a replacement
Cons: Develops rattle, paint chips, not durable
Colorado
Pros: Good pop at first.
Cons: Bat lost pop and is now dented after 7 MO of play.
bmd
Pros: Good price, nice look and sound, my 9 year old hit one over the fence with his first swing.
Cons: Graphics may not last, already notice some edges coming up.
gman
Pros: Amazing pop. I got a 30/20 for my twelve year old son and even if he got jammed on the inside, he would get a base hit.
Cons: Grip wears down a little too easily and a lot of sting but other than that its great
this guy
Pros: ok pop, balanced, cool colors
Cons: very loud and annoying ping, not a great grip, not a big barrel
Marshall
Pros: Great quality for a unbelievably low price. My son is 7 and on an 8u club ball team and he make great contact and gets distance with the bat.
Cons: None so far.
Dennis
Pros: Has a very big barrel and a massive sweet spot. Best pop on the market and everyone uses this on my team.
Cons: None
Bool
Pros: Bang for the buck, oroginally bought to use in colder weather, but half the team used it all year and it held up well (9u, bat was 28" 18oz), no dents but it was only used in games, kids thought it looked cool
Cons: Paint did start chipping but my son said it looked like it was used and didn't care once the graphics held up, the wide portion of the barrel seemed short compared to Louisville Slugger and Demarini Bata that kids had.
Twoodard
Pros: Lot's of pop for cheap great deal!
Cons: None.
Cat
Pros: First big barrel bat and first purchase from justbats. Great experience so far. I have two boys, ages 8 and 6. The 8 year old LOVES this bat. He was making good contact with his other bat but not hitting them very far. He seems to be hitting the ball farther with this bat and is so excited about playing baseball. The 6 year old likes this bat, but told me he feels more comfortable with an older one we have. Had it for a few weeks now, great bat.
Cons: None so far.
macdaddy
Pros: Great bat great price. Good pop awsome graphics. My son loves it.
Cons: none
hitting machine
Pros:
Cons: Paint chipped off after first batting practice. I hate that this bat stings your hands a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons:
Houston Select Ball Coach
Pros: Balanced bat with lots of pop when hit on the sweet spot. My 7 year old hit his first coach pitch home run this weekend (155 ft). Lots of line drives and hard grounders. Good for a kid that squares up on balls when hitting. Bat seems to be getting hotter every outing. We'll see how long it holds up. We tried this old version of the RZR because the old one dented up after a couple of months of use.
Cons: None so far.
joe
Pros: it's a really good bat and has a lot of pop. It also has a big sweetspot.
Cons: my bat has worn out and feels weird when you hit the ball.
jack h.
Pros: my 8 year old loves it and so do all the boys on his team.
Cons: none
Codeman
Pros: Lots of pop, great sound when hit well, as much pop as all the Easton's everyone else has on the team.
Cons: Paint scratches easily but who really cares.

About the Brand
During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
