Pros: Great grip. Simple but cool bat graphic. Not top heavy at all, which makes it better for contact hitters like me. Get this bat, cheaper and gonna be a better bbcor
Cons: chips easy at barrel, but it won't change the pop
Crash
Pros: We had bat reps come out to our practice and let us hit with several top bats. I hit the ball farther and harder with this bat than any of the others. I have used it in five games and I am definitely hitting ball harder. Good bat!
Cons: Have not used the bat long enough to find any cons yet.
GOKNIGHTS
Pros: Had to get a new bat for high school. I am a smaller player and the balance on this bat is perfect. I feel better with my balance than I did with my Stealth composite bat that I used in Pony. The grip looks cool, but it felt slippery after using it in my first batting practice. I put a black tape grip on it and now everyone on my team wants to get this bat. Love it!
Cons: the original grip but that isn't why I bought the bat.

Pros: incredible pop!!!! ball flies off this bat, better than some besr bats out there!!! but i reccomend this bat even to power hitters like me because with good power and quick batspeed, the results are incredible, i reccomend it to anyone!
Cons: none at all!!!!

Pros: I have just tried this bat too. It is an excellent BBCOR bat. Very well balanced. I still like the XL3 better, but this on is great also. Why spend $100 to $200 dollars more for a BBCOR bat when either of these two will do just fine.
Cons: None yet
sunshine
Pros: very good balance. Can't believe how light it felt. For a ninth grader being forced into swing a drop 3 this is the bat you will need to have the best bat speed.

Pros: First time I used this bat I felt like the ball shot off the bat like a rocket. Looks cool, no sting to your hands when you hit the end. Nice grip. I love this bat!!

Cons: none
RR 75
Pros: Very well balanced bat. Son tried several bats prior to purchasing this bat looking for good balance and a favorable swing weight. Weight distribution on this bat was most favorable to helping him reach his bat speed potential. Good pop but I think this has to do with the fact that his bat speed is maximized with this bat.
Cons: None so far
fatman818181

shr3ddagnar
Pros: Great bat all together. But i would have spent the extra money to get the S1. S1 has the trampoline effect, that really helped my game. S3 just doesn't have the same pros as the S1. Great bat though.
Cons: After using the S1, it doesn't even compare.

Pros: My son got this bat for his first year with JV team. He loves the bat.
Cons:

Pros: Great bat! The ball takes off!
Cons:
The Coach
Pros: Nice grip and balance.
Cons: At the beginning of the season, my son and several of his teammates were excited to use the new S3. However, after about two weeks they realized that this bat has little or no pop. Nobody uses it anymore, which is tremendously frustrating. I recently purchased another bat (ugh!) from a different manufacturer and my son is now driving the ball all over the field.
Will
Pros: Great grip, looks awesome. Not top heavy what so ever, and crazy balanced. Cheaper than most top of the line bats but performs just as well
Cons: Black barrel will chip, but not enough to make me not love the bat

marsh player 23
Pros: just got the bat looks nice hope to do well with the bat.
Cons: nothing havent hit with it yet
Hrmachine
Pros: Good and simple design. Good pop out of the wrapper. Big sweet spot.
Cons: Grip is much too thick at the bottom, but can easily be regripped. Bat slowly loses pop as you continue to use it. Much more top heavy than I expected especially since Easton claims it is lightweight and for contact hitters.

Cons: paint chips a little, but doesnt loose pop
rbi guy

Pros: This bat has good pop for a bbcor. Weight is evenly distributed and makes it really easy to get the bat through the zone. I've hit 4 homeruns with this bat and lead my team in average, homeruns, and RBI
Cons: After using the bat a lot and hitting some balls off the yellow middle part of the bat I noticed a crack...after trying to use it the bat snapped in half

Popcorn
Pros: Only had this bat for about 2 weeks. I was swinging the 2012 Rip-it , but it is still just a bit heavy/end loaded for me to swing well .This bat is better balanced and has some really good pop for it right out of the wrapper . Cant wait till it has loosened up some . For how long I have had this , I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it .
Cons: None that I can find so far .
Torch
Pros: It swings great has balance that is made for contact hitters like me and I'm hitting hard with this bat
Cons: Not made for power hitters they need the XL3 if they want an Easton
OutFieldKing24
Pros: I'm sophomore in high school, I'm not as big as most people. But this bat at 31 inches fits me perfectly! the speed and balance on this bat is exactly what i was looking for! Love it!
Cons: The bat chips at the tip of the barrel, but it doesn't seem to affect anything.
zach

Pros:
Cons: Broke on third pitch
Sneaky Pete
Pros: My son just started using it earlier in the week. It has a nice sweet spot and nice pop to it. He can tell the difference between the other bat he uses. The other bat he has is -8.5 so it takes a little time to het used to the -3.
Cons:
Kev

Cons: None.
Flab
Pros: Grip is great
Cons: No pop. Not that good balance. Thick handle. Low quality.
great bat lol player
Pros: Good pop and power. Great for people who hit line drives.
Cons: Paint chips.
Bad Bat Nick player
Pros: Starts out with decent pop, good balance, feels like a -5 out of the box.
Cons: Loses pop immediately after first time I used it. Grip is cool but tears easily. Had to tape up the handle after the first month of use. If you're a contact hitter, go for the S1 or even the XL1. both bats have pretty equal balance, but the XL1 will give contact hitters the best chances at great hitting.
Speed = power Alemany player player
Pros: I'm a I between hitter, can hit for power and contact. Bat is perfect for either. It's more top heavy than the S1 so you are able to better hit for power as well as contact.
Cons: None really
PAPA Harvey Leathart other

Horrible Peter player
Pros: Lasting long
Cons: Horrible vibrations and it got dented when someone else swung it

Which bat should I get: XL3 or S3 BBCOR? I am a freshman in high school, 5' 8", 135 pounds, and strong for my weight. I can generate a lot of bat speed by myself and can hit for power despite my speed and size. I just bought a 33' 30 oz XL3 (the new model) and my dad says that he thinks that it might be a little long. I have not taken it out of the wrapper so I can return it. Should I return it because even though I have good bat speed, the good pitchers in my league can reach 80 mph. I am looking for an aluminum bat because of the feel but if you think I shouldn't get an aluminum bat please say why. PatrickMcDonough

Hi. I'm a 6'5" 195 lb Senior in high school. I've always used wood. Which Easton BBCOR do you recommend? Raul
I recently purchased this bat. It is a good bat except for one thing. After the first use of this bat (light batting practice) I noticed that there was a crack in the handle. It split from the knob to the beginning of where the black part of the tape starts and the yellow ends (about 4 inches). I used it again today, and there was a performance decrease in the bat (more vibration, less pop/power). I was wondering if this was something normal, or it was a defect in the bat. Robert
Why was this model discontinued? Deron
