Pros: This bat is by far the best BBCOR bat on the market! I will admit when the BESR certification was in state I was never a big composite fan. I usually prefered one piece alloys like the Easton Rival. However, when my highschool team was given an opportunity to sample the power brigade bats (Speed Series only), this one by far out preformed the rest. I have tried the 5150, Voodoo (11 and 12 model), Both Rip its, Omaha, Surge, and obviously the S2 and S3. I truly believe composite is the way to go. This bat is slightly end heavy but more balanced than other BBCOR bats. Lets face it there aren't any BBCOR bats as well balanced as the old BESR models because of the ways the bat companys have to deaden them. I told my dad this bat is the best by far and I am currently in the process of buying it. This bat is definately worth the extra $100.00 that you would spend. I hope this review was helpful I tried to cover all the main concerns that I know I take into account when I am purchasing a bat.
Cons: The cost is obviously a factor. However, if you can afford it I would reccomend it. Obviously the biggest con is its BBCOR and like all BBCOR you just miss your BESR bats. Still by far the best BBCOR I have tried and probably the best on the market.
basehits
Pros: This bat out hit any other BBCOR on the market. I strongly reccomend this bat over the CF5 and Marruci Black.
Cons: Requires a little break in time ( 100 swings or so). EXPENSIVE
BaseballFreak
Pros: Best bat on the market, better than any of my other bats, even considering this is the only BBCOR bat I have ever had. Buy this bat, truly the best bat on the market. WORTH THE MONEY!
Cons: Nothing
Kob24
Pros: Sweet spot is amazing. A lot of power and balance is perfect. Grip is really good, no need for pine tar. Plus is looks cool.
Cons: Nothing.
jacob
Pros: This is one of the best BBCOR bats that easton as out right now. This has a ton of pop for a BBCOR! I suggest this bat to every high school and college player
Cons: Nothing at all
Carson
Pros: One of the best bbcor bats out there. I've had this bat for about 2 months now for batting practice. Season doesn't start for about 2 months. Bat has great pop. great balance. Not at all top heavy. It's perfect.
Cons: The yellow part gets black quick. But that doesn't matter. It's a bat!
nick
Pros:
Cons: in my first 5 swings snapped in half
ORIOLES
Pros: Extreme Pop!!!!!!! Perfect bat for your contact hitters!!!!!!
Cons: Like it has any
Baseball guy
Pros: Good pop and well balanced
Cons: The bat cracks easy.

Pros: easton stealth bats are the best bats!
Cons: yep, that demarini is not good!
Magicman
Pros: First time I picked up the bat it felt well balanced and hit amazing. Playing baseball for 12 years I have never hit with a better bat. First 15 balls of BP 7 bombs.
Cons: End cap came off but its only a sticker.
john
Pros: im 6'3 220 i would say i am some what or a "power hitter" the XL1 is way too top heavy and your can feel the deference in the S1. the S1 has perfect balance and is still slightly end loaded. I swing a 34inch i would suggest the S1 for both power and contact hitters.
Cons: the cost but almost every quality bat out this your going to get scammed by the price haha there's NO way that cost them any more then $50 to make

Pros:
Cons: terrible bat snapped after 2 months
Tmipte
Pros: Great exit rate on sweet spot. Good warranty.
Cons: Micro Cracks are forming already on the surface. Haven't started H.S.season yet here in PA. hit about 2000 times so far.
bomber
Pros:
Cons: Horrible quality. It cracked adn broke after 2 months. Since I did not save the receipt, Easton is not standing behind it. No more Easton bats for me
ceorider
Pros: Best swing weight of all bats, very good pop.
Cons: Every bat cracks and breaks within three weeks. There are at least four of these bats broken on our team. The most recent looked like the inside exploded. Warranty department cannot replace the bat for 30 days, but i can go spend another $400 in any store that sells Easton and get another one. How can every store and rep in California have these bats in stock but warranty departmetn cannot get me a replacement. Very disappointed in Easton.
Bat boy
Pros: Great pop!
Cons: The bat does not hold up. Cracks very easy. Easton may have to go back to the drawing board on this one.
Heinz
Pros: great pop, a little pricy. love the grip
Cons: none
vchouse
Pros: This bas is so hot out of the rapper. great sweet spot and balance
Cons: just like how its hot out of the rapper you only get two swings out of it after the rapper comes off. the bat breaks way too easily but is worth it if easton will continue replacing them
FLanny
Pros: The first SWING with this bat was a 350 foot home run over a 30 foot fence. This bat has a lot of pop almost as much as the old BESR
Cons: None...Awesome Bat!!
heath da beast
Pros: most pop
Cons:
MKG
Pros:
Cons: Cracks developed in the barrel after 2 months of limited use. Only 1 player and never hit with cold. Easton says 3 to4 weeks to get a replacement. Poor customer service.
RJ
Pros: This bat is amazing! I've had it for a while now, and it's lasted and gone the distance. It has tremendous pop and is very well balanced. It reminds me a lot of the BESR bats, and is without a doubt the best BBCOR bat on the market. $400 can be pretty pricy, but I feel like it's worth every cent. And everyone saying it snaps easily, it won't snap if you hit it where you should...
Cons: High priced @ $400
HITTER BOY
Pros: this bat is great, well balanced, and hits great ater 100 hits
Cons: price
Mark M
Pros: Great bat. Easy to swing very lively.
Cons: Broken 2 bats in less then two weeks. Not very durable.
pop
Pros: great pop.
Cons:
droppingbombs01
Pros: Bat is amazing, great pop, ball just takes off the bat. No other BBCOR can compare to it
Cons: High school players should have no problem with it, however college players will have problems with the bats cracking and breaking. I just ordered my second S1 and my fourth XL1
TomCus
Pros: Great bat, great pop sounds like a wood bat when you hit with it.
Cons: little bit pricey but its worth it
hitter
Pros: This bat has alot of pop when you first get it get alot of swings and they are durable and only break if you get jammed on the actual handle with a hard throwing pitcher otherwise the bat has amazing pop.
Cons: this bat takes about 125 balls to break it in off a tee or live pitching then after that the bat only gets better
Anonymous
Pros: better then the cf5!!!! this has the best balance out of all the bbcors on the market!!
Cons: none.
CC#8
Pros: this bat has a great swing weight. the pop is great.
Cons: after 5 months of intense hitting the barrel began to wiggle. when this the bat lost all power. Im not the only one who has experienced this another kid on my team who has the XL1 while using it the seal that combines the barrel and the handle broke.
Coach
Pros: Great pop
Cons: Bat broke after only 2 weeks.
frog
Pros:
Cons: Had the bat for eight games and it cracked. Two other players on my sons team had there bats crack also. Won't buy another one.
jake
Pros: amazing bat best one ive ever had
Cons: none
Birdman
Pros: Evenly balanced, similar to wood pro stock lite. Great pop and sounds like wood bat. Love the bat!
Cons: Bought first one 2/3/12 cracked and died 4/12/12. Replaced it 4/16/12. That bat cracked at about same spot4/23/12.did not use in cold weather at all.Preformance great but their is a major design flaw. Easton has lost a lot of credibility and probably a customer!
Lynn,Mass
Pros: Good grip with balance and weight
Cons: This bat at $424.95 is very costly, this bat broke after 9 days? had to send back to warranty dept with no help from them except to tell me after a 3 to 5 day inspection of the bat and if they have one in stock??? they will send me one,Ten days and counting no bat and played 5 games in H/S Baseball while waiting! you make the call on a $424.95 bat.
KT
Pros: Gives you the results you want. It would be a five star rating if they would last long enough.
Cons: Second bat in unders 3 months. Last bat lasted only 2 days. The bat breaks in half. Easton customer service is horrible. They are in no hurry to replace broken bats. They leave you hanging for the season.
GW
Pros: Great bat! Good pop, balanced, good sweet spot and it sounds great (like a wood bat) My high school team has been using 2 of these and are going to the Championships!
Cons: none
Freshman Son
Pros: Great Contact Bat.
Cons: After 5 months the bat cracked in tight circle around the circumfrance of the bat near the sweet spot. It looks like it cracked around the band which is now noticeable. This is from half a season of use by a 115 lb freshman in high school. We will see how Easton warranties the bat. I believe it is a design flaw from the band they used to deaden the bat given where the crack is and how pronounced the band apears throught the bat wall. If Easton correct the issue (design) this would be an excellent bat.
Jmezz899
Pros: This bat is freakin sweet in every way. Awesome pop and weight is perfectly distributed.
Cons: none
Slugger
Pros: This Bat has a lot of pop and the best BBCor bat out there
Cons:
Robby
Pros: best bbcor out there, tried the marucci black, cf5 and 5150 but by far this is the best one and i own it. very balanced and has a great feel compared to the XL1
Cons: pricey but its definantly worth every penny and its gunna last. BUT, there is one problem, im a freshman in HS and i lettered for our varsity team, and some of the kids on this team had this bat and with 2 guys who had this bat the rubber part that connects the barrell to the handle got very loose. like u could shake the bat and u could see and feel the barrell wobbling. i have not had this problem yet but just something to look out for
Boss
Pros: Hits very well
Cons: Breaks after about 2k swings
baseball mama
Pros: My son hit some great shots with this bat.
Cons: Had the bat less than two weeks and it cracked! Sent back to justbats.com and got full credit because they didn't have my son's size (33") in stock. So happy I saw these reviews before reordering.
EggoCoop
Pros: This bat is by far the best big barrel I have had. I just moved to the bigger field this year and my dad wanted to find me the right bat to use for the change. We tested a bunch of different bats including the rip it, but all of them were to end heavy for me. We eventually got to this bat and I am glad we did. It is well balanced and the composite makes the ball fly.
Cons: It is a little pricey but I believe it is well worth your money.
SPHS 3B #8
Pros: Love the bat, hit 3 jacks this year.
Cons: Broke on me twords the end of the season.
billy

LR#55
Pros: Good balance and pop in the bat. Good look and feel. One of the better BBCOR bats out there.
Cons: I had the bat two weeks and it has split and rattles. Have to send it back to Easton. Have heard this happens alot, but on the 2nd bat it does not occur as frequently. Not sure why that would be the case.
BeastMode
Pros: Great lightweight balanced feel. hit it right on the sweetspot it goes far.
Cons: But this bat has a small sweestspot. Get jammed, it goes nowhere.
D Loh
Pros: Great pop. Love the grip. very balanced bat, feels lighter than the actual weight. Best BBCOR!
Cons: none
baseballdemon
Pros: after about 20 solid hits with it, it gives you a lot of pop! very good bat just for one season.
Cons: Loses it's pop. I have played with it for a season and not im on the allstar team now, I don't think I want to use it anymore because it lost a lot of pop!
DannyBlaze
Pros: Great pop, sound, look, and feel.
Cons: The bat went dead about 3/4 way through the season.
I Go Yard
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop. Sounds like a wood bat. The most balanced bat i have used.
Cons: My S1 craked within 2 months. Should be less money but if you have the money it is worth it.
blen
Pros: great pop if hit on the sweet spot and great balance gives you quick batspeed
Cons: very often it will crack under the rubber cxn piece. this bat has a small sweetspot
Ryan
Pros: Probably the best BBCOR bat on the market right now. Great feel and pop!
Cons: Requires a little break in time(100+ swings). Expensive.
team pa
Pros: Great pop and looks
Cons: The bat lasted me 4 days. I bought the bat to go to the Midwest feature games sponsered by under armour and it broke after my 4th at bat
Dylan
Pros: Probably the best BBCOR bat out there. Great feel and pop. Well balanced too!
Cons: Expensive!
Land Jockey
Pros: Great pop. Even weighting compared to others. Always used Louisville Slugger until this one.
Cons: The bat snapped in half before it was 2 weeks old. In about the 10th game, or 40th at bat, it broke where the parts connect. Am sending it in for replacement. Still a great bat.
jamarko
Pros: my son really liked
Cons: split didn't even last a full summer season, for the money you think it would last
swilliams554
Pros: great pop and very balanced. best bbcor bat i have swung.
Cons: after 4 months the bat just broke in half at the connection point. i sent the bat in to easton and they sent me a replacement.
jake
Pros: this is the best bbcor bat that you can buy i dont care what anybody says this is by far the most amazing bat you can buy. This bat also has amazing pop.
Cons: nothing
Tony D
Pros: Good bat while it lasts which is not long.
Cons: We have had two bats break within 3 months. First one cracked and became loose where the handle meets the barrel. Easton replaced bat without question. The new bat broke within 2 months. This time it completely broke in half when hitting off the tee!!! Waiting for another replacement. Very disappointed especially after shelling out $400.
phbaseball
Pros: Very good weight distribution for a BBCOR. Great pop and probably the best BBCOR out there. The grip feels amazing and the bat does not feel like it is restricted by BBCOR standards. This bat is amazing.
Cons: The connection part in the middle tends to be a weak spot for this bat. My S1 broke recently, because the middle fell off.
MLBaddict
Pros: Best bat ever, my whole team used it. Amazing pop , ball launches off bat. Durability is awesome , it is still going after whole team used for 5 months. Worth every penny(I Extremely recommend this bat)
