Description

The DXVCR features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for use in When you think of the best quality baseball bats on the market today, only one word comes to mind; DeMarini. Year after year DeMarini produces some of the best baseball bats available, and that holds true once again this year. One of the crown jewels in the DeMarini line for the past several years has been the Vendetta. This year's Vendetta C6 is going to pick up right where its ancestors left off. The Vendetta C6 -10 senior league baseball bat is produced with the same Rails Hybrid Handle Technology as previous Vendettas, but with a C6 Composite Barrel as well. DeMarini found a way to reduce vibration zones all the while increasing the sweet spot and producing ultimate bat speed. The Rails Hybrid Handle Technology with flexible inner core and a reinforced outer frame help deliver optimal bat speed and feel. The flexible handle interior reduces vibration zones. Players experience total confidence when stepping up to the plate. The Half & Half system redistributes weight for optimal balance, allowing players to swing faster with less effort. Half & Half means more power. The C6 Power Weave of all carbon is specially designed with a wider weave and powerful singlewall barrel. The double reinforced vertical and horizontal weave is what provides the more responsive composite design you have been looking for. The improved end cap also helps dampen the vibration, producing a better feel and easier swing. The DeMarini Variegated grip gives you the most comfortable feel, allowing you to have the most control possible over the bat. Also an added feature is their Rotation Index which allows you to evenly break-in your bat by rotating the bat a quarter of a rotation each plate appearance. DeMarini: Join the Uprising! Pros: The bat is light weight easy to swing, and it has a really big barrel so there is more room to hit the ball. Also the barrel over the handle helps because it gives you more room not to hurt yourself when you get jammed.

Pros: My son loves this bat; he is 10 but very tall and it fits perfect. Great pop.

Cons: After a single one day batting camp (no machines, human pitch) - the BPF 1.15 stamp (required for play in 2012) is 3/4 gone, just wiped off? In other words - I have no idea if we'll be able to use it when season starts. Warranty does not say it covers paint. Need to call the company next week and see whats up. HASSLE. Seems dumb to give 3 stars because of that but - that was one of main reasons we bought this bat as opposed to something else - it has (had?) a required 2012 stamp.

Pros:

Cons: We ordered the bat as an xmas present. During the first use, a ball hit the USSSA logo. It smeared off because the logo was painted on the barrel of the bat! Demarini added the label after the bats were sealed so they are just painted on. I am having an argument with Demarini about replacing. DON'T BUY THIS BAT IF YOU NEED THE USSSA LOGO.. it will come off and then you won't be able to use it. This is a problem the company is aware of but puts the bat out anyway knowing that it will smear. Turned me off to Demarini. I see there are other comments out here saying the same thing!

Pros: Updating my last post. I called DeMarini about the USSSA stamp rubbing off. They said it was their fault and have been re-stamping bats. I had to pay the postage to send it to DeMarini and got it back re-stamped in 8 days. Hopefully the process they used this time will work. At least now I have paperwork supporting that this bat IS USSSA compliant should I have to show it to a tournament official or ump.

Pros: a friend told me about justbat.com,so i went to the website & read the reviews on the DeMarini Vendetta C6:DXVCR. the reviews were impressive. so i bought the bat for my 11 year old son. first time i have ordered a bat on line, & recieved it in 2 days. right out of the box I PUT A clear piece of tape over the USSSA logo that everyone was complaning about rubbing off. my son had try outs this past weekend & 3 out of 6 balls that were pitched to him went over the fence (home runs)& another being a fast hard line drive. he has never hit a home run before not even in a game. his confidence level has risin 100%.the coaches were looking at the bat and even taking pitchures of it. he is now know as the boy that hit three home runs during try outs. thank you DeMarini, I highly recomend this bat.I will keep everyone posted during the season @ threw allstars. by the way, the bat we chose was 31" 21 oz.

Pros: Love the rails. Swings super light with great pop. Don't notice a huge difference between this bat and a 2 3/4 barrel bat. I put 5 or 6 coats of clear nail polish over the stamp right out of the box and the stamp has held up great. Be careful with first coat of nail polish or it could smear the stamp, once its dry it works great for the additional coats...

Pros: Like most I read, my son easily adapted from a 30/17 2 1/4 barrel Voo Doo, to this 2 5/8 barrel 30/20 Vendetta! He said the bats felt the same weight. Pros: This is the 3rd Vendetta C6 that my son has had, and he plays Select AAA baseball. I originally got him the bat two seasons ago. Thanks to the new bat rules, it was not going to be legal for USSSA sanctioned tournaments so I had to get him a new bat for the following year with the stamp. Thank goodness Justbats had them in stock with the stamp. This is a great bat! Once the bat got broken in, the ball just flies off this bat even without swinging too hard. My son played 41 games this year and hit around .470 in 11u AAA Select baseball. He led his team in triples and doubles this season. I ended up recommending this bat to 3 other parents in our town, and their kids love it. My son is going to move to -8 in two seasons so I can wean him down to a -3 by the time he gets to High School. That is why I already got this bat for him next season. I purchased him a 31/21 for next season. I wish DeMarini made this bat in all - levels. Great bat!

Cons: It took a quite a bit of BP to get the bat broken in, but it was worth the extra time. Once broken in, it is a hitting machine.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the DeMarini Vendetta C6 Senior League Baseball Bat: DXVCR Silver? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is the minus ten approved for Little League? none
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a two-piece composite bat with a 2 5/8" big barrel and USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. If your league permits those types of bats than yes, it would be approved. However, if you play in a league that only allows 2 1/4" alloy barrels, it would not be legal.

Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 bat has a composite barrel.
Brett
Will this bat meet BBCOR guidelines? walshaq
No, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 will not meet BBCOR guidelines. BBCOR bats all have a -3 drop and are for high school and college play.

JH
Does this bat have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp? Looks like it in one of the photo's just hard to tell. premie34
Yes and no. All of the DeMarini Vendetta C6's have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp except for the 29" length. Therefore, the 29" is not USSSA 1.15 BPF certified.
Kris
Is this a 2012 model? I don't see anything about it on the DeMarini website. Stephen
No, this DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a 2011 model.
Mark
When will the 29/19 size be available with the USSSA Stamp? I was hoping to buy this bat for my 10 year old son. If Im not able to get this bat what other bat would you recommend? I like the longer barrel and larger sweetspot. BaseballDad
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 has been discontinued by the manufacturer so we will not be receiving any more. Keep your eyes open for new DeMarini models coming out soon.

How does this bat compare with the CF4/CF5 bats and does it need to be "broken in" before it is used during a game? Thanks. David
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a two-piece composite bat and needs to be broken in to reach optimum performance. The Vendetta has great durability and pop and is one of the better bats under $200.
Todd
Does it have the BBCOR stamp on it? bc
Yes and no. All of the DeMarini Vendetta C6's have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp except for the 29" length. Therefore, the 29" is not USSSA 1.15 BPF certified.
Mark
What is the most effective way to break this bat in and are there outdoor temperature restrictions on the use of this bat? Thanks. David
To break in the DeMarini Vendetta C6 we recommend taking 150-200 swings while doing soft-toss or tee work. Rotate the bat a quarter turn after each swing to break in the barrel evenly. We don't recommend using the Vendetta below 50 degrees.
John
Does the USSSA stamp have to be on for travel baseball? gmonator
Every league has different rules so we recommend checking with your local league official. Most leagues that allow big barrel bats usually will require the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
K.B.
Does this bat meet the new 2012 requirements for USSSA rules where the approval stamp is supposed to be on the taper of the bat instead of the barrel? It is hard to tell. In the photos shows exactly where this stamp is placed. specialed
Yes and no. All of the DeMarini Vendetta C6's have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp located on the taper except for the 29" length. Therefore, the 29" is not USSSA 1.15 BPF certified.
lkh
Is this bat doublewall? g
No, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is made of a composite material specifically designed with a wider weave for a powerful singlewall barrel.
lkh

proman
How long does the -13 DeMarini Vendetta C6 take to break in? ethan
We recommend taking 150-200 swings off a tee or soft toss, rotating the bat a 1/4" turn after each swing for even barrel coverage. Be sure to hit real baseballs and not dimpled cage balls as they are very dense and can damage your bat.
K.B.

The 1.15 BPF stamp is the same stamp that the USSSA requires for 2012.

I just received my bat but i don't see the 1.15 BPF stamp. Where is located before i take off the wrapper? The bat has to have th stamp to be legal for use. Jon
The USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp on your DeMarini Vendetta C6 is just above the connection where the taper meets the barrel.
Linda
How cold can this bat be used in? Mini Mike Napoli.
We recommend limiting the use of your DeMarini Vendetta C6 in temperatures below 55 degrees. Baseballs become very dense in cold weather and can damage your Vendetta and affect its performance.
Derek
Why should we stay away from the yellow dimpled balls? bigdog
The yellow dimpled balls that you see at most batting cages are very dense and can damage your DeMarini Vendetta C6. We recommend hitting only real baseballs.
KG
Is it BBCOR stamped? papa smurf
No, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is not a BBCOR certified bat. The Vendetta is a senior league (youth big barrel) bat that is not governed by the BBCOR standard.
TJ
Since this bat has the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp that means that it is legal in 2012 for juniors divisiom 13-14 yr olds in uvalde texas. I Think? VOODOO MASTER
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 should be legal but we suggest checking with a coach or league official just to make sure.
KG
Does the DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCR Silver have the USSSA 1.15 BPF approved stamp? Coach K
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
Linda
Is this bat approved for youth baseball league? club dad
Most youth baseball leagues require a 2 1/4" barrel size and the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has a 2 5/8" barrel. I would check with your coach or league officials to confirm what barrel size is legal for your particular league.
Linda
What is the difference between an aluminum and composite bat? Which is "better?" Jeff
Composite bats are made from a mixture of carbon fibers and resins. Aluminum bats, also known as alloy, are made from a combination of two or more aluminums. Aluminum bats are at their peak performance when they are new and have a reputation for being durable. Composite bats require a 150-200 swing break-in period before they are game ready and continue to improve their performance as they age.
TJ
If the bat is still in wrapper and unused could it be returned 3 months from now if found to be illegal in our league? EF
Yes. As long as the wrapper is still on your DeMarini Vendetta C6 and it hasn't been used you can return it for an exchange or refund.
Kara
Is this bat better than the CF4 ST? mattt
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a great composite bat, but the CF4 and CF5 are Demarini's top of the line.
David
Does both DeMarini and the Rival in this package have the USSSA 1.15 stamp Batty
Yes. Both the DeMarini Vendetta C6 and Easton Rival XXL have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
Kara
Hi I was wondering... I'm a power hitter my league allows this bat and the DeMarini Voodoo 2012 which would you prefer im 5'6 and 145 pounds. Thanks. Cf4 dude
Both the DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Voodoo would be very good bat options for you. The biggest difference between the two is that the Vendetta has a composite barrel and the Voodoo has an alloy barrel, so it'll come down to your personal preference.
KG
What's the deal with the Rotation Index...and what is the break in period? Does this need to be done for the life of the bat? Bert
We recommend breaking in your DeMarini Vendetta C6 with 150-200 hits off a tee or soft toss. DeMarini bats come with a numbered rotation index, rotate the bat one number after each swing, doing this will spread the hit load around the circumference of the barrel, significantly increasing the bat's lifespan.
KG
Will you be getting more 29" bats in? vanbraro
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a discontinued model so we will not be receiving any more 29" bats.
Sean
Is the DeMarini Vendetta C6 better than the CF4 ST? matt
Based on customer feedback and information provided by DeMarini, the CF4 (now CF5) is DeMarini's top of the line bat. The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a great bat, but not the same quality as the CF4 or CF5.
TJ
Is this bat USSSA stamped? Aaron
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
John
If this bat breaks or dents can I return it within the 1-year warranty? wheels

How does the DeMarini Vendetta C6 compare to the DeMarini Vexxum? Should I choose the right bat for my 10 year old son. He needs and 30 inch bat with a 10 drop. Thanks. H-Man 217
The main difference between the two is that the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has a composite barrel and the DeMarini Vexxum has an alloy barrel.
John
Does this bat have the USSSA stamp of approval? Catcher Dad
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
KG
Which will have more pop: 2011 vendetta -10 or the 2012 voodoo -9? What are the differences in the bats? Which do you recommend 10yr old travel league? Darrell
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Vexxum are both durable bats with a lot of pop. The biggest difference between the two is that the Vendetta has a composite barrel and the Vexxum has an alloy barrel. The Vendetta will need 150-200 swing break-in and the Vexxum will be game ready the day you buy it. At the age of 10 the most common length is 29"-30".
KG
How does the performance compare with the 2012 Vexxum? Why the price difference? questionman
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 and DeMarini Vexxum are difficult to compare. The Vendetta is a two-piece composite and the Vexxum is a two-piece hybrid with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The difference in price is based on the Vexxum being a newer model bat.
Sean
Do the rails do anything? Why is it that only the vendetta has them? questionman
The Internal Rails Hybrid Handle system in the DeMarini Vendetta C6 is a vibration reduction technology unique to DeMarini. The inner rails maintain stiffness and provide stability to the much softer outer wall which reduces vibration for an easy swing.
Linda
How does this bat compare with the Easton Rival 2 3/4 in terms of pop? yalemotu
Both the DeMarini Vendetta C6 and the Easton Rival have alloy barrels so they both have nice pop. The main differences between the two is the different barrel sizes and the Rivals one-piece alloy design versus the Vendetta's two-piece composite design.
Linda
I noticed the 2012 Vendetta does not have the Rails. Why is this? Was there a problem with the rails where people did not like to use the bat? Mark
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 does have the Internal Rails Hybrid Handle that reduces vibration for an easy swing.
K.B.
Is this bat Little League approved for the junior (14u) Level and is the barrel alloy? damon

KG
Does DeMarini make a senior league bat that meets the BBCOR requirements? ranger
No, DeMarini does not make a Senior League bat that is BBCOR certified. Only adult sized bats with a -3 drop have the BBCOR certification.
Linda

John

Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 does have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp on it. Composite barrels are legal within several of the governing bodies. Since individual league rules will vary we recommend checking with your coach or league official.
Linda
My son is 10 and has always used the DeMarini Vendetta bat because he likes the rails and the way the bat feels when the ball is hit. Is this bat legal for the 2012 season in USSSA. Thanks, Jeremy Jeremy Gilfry

Sean
My son is 8 and the league requires bpf 1.15 stamp. Does this bat qualify? nash7769
Yes, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 has the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp and will qualify for league play.
Linda
I purchased this bat for my son. Can or should it be used in batting cages? J
No, the DeMarini Vendetta C6 should not be used in batting cages that use yellow dimpled balls. They are very dense and can damage the composite materials. We recommend having a bat specifically for cage use and to save your Vendetta for games.
Kara
I ordered the same bat last year, Vendetta C6:DXVCR orange. Is this bat legal for use? There is no difference in bats. Is there paper work that can be sent to validate the bat? Tony
Your DeMarini Vendetta C6 will need to feature the USSSA BPF 1.15 stamp to be legal for 2012 league play.
John
I returned a this bat because of the BPF 1.15 logo smudged off and you sent me a new one with the logo on the same place on the barrel. Will this keep happening or do I have to put clear tape on it to protect it? efishy8
The USSSA rule requires the stamp be put on the handle. It wouldnt hurt to wrap it or cover it with a clear nail polish to reduce smudging.
Linda
Do you have the 29" 19oz? Art
The DeMarini Vendetta C6 is discontinued and we will not be receiving any more of the 29" 19oz.

Show all 105 Questions and Answers about the DeMarini Vendetta C6 Senior League Baseball Bat: DXVCR Silver

About the Brand

In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."

In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.

Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.

To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.

In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.

Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.

With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).

In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.

Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.

In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.

More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
