Good Solid Bat. Great Weight and has good pop! I recommend this bat for those in wooden bat leagues.

Pros:
Hits extremely well. Light, durable (so far) big barrel. Simply the best wooden bat I have every had

Pros:
I did not know how far wood bat technology had advanced until I got the DX243. This thing is a trophy! It also hammers the baseball. Thanks for a superior product.
Cons:
My only regret about this bat is that I did not have it during 1957 when I started 10th grade. That is not the bat's fault.

is this bat barrel heavy?

Is the barrel size on this model 2 5/8"? If so, then why do some of the experts say its 2 1/2"?

The DeMarini Maple Wood Bat: DX243 Adult model is a turn model 243. All turn model 243 bats will have the same barrel size at 2 5/8". The handle will be 29/32" and have a medium taper. It will also feature a conventional knob.

Does the new model with the bbcor stamp look the same as this?

The DeMarini Maple Wood Bat: DX243 Adult bat will have a BBCOR Certified .50 stamp on the barrel of the new model. It will be located under the Pro Maple stamp next to the turn model 243. The bat may come in the same or differing colors.
