Pros: I'm not a power hitter but I am hitting them out with this bat with ease. Not kidding. I have been hitting a Worth 454 One-Piece and decided to go back to EASTON. I am sure glad I did. Hit the barrel and it's gone. We had to put it away during a night game when the temperature dropped because we hit 5 solo shots in the first inning. It is that hot.

Cons: It's a noticeable Two-Piece. I hit it well because I am a line drive hitter. A few of the other guys on the team don't like the two piece. I love it.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Stealth 100 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP12ST100? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I just purchased this bat. What are a couple of ways to break in the bat? GMAN
We recommend taking about 150-200 hits either off of a tee or soft toss starting at about 40% power and increasing the closer you get to the 200 hit mark. Also, make sure you rotate the barrel about a quarter of an inch in between each hit and use the same balls you would normally use in a game.

I only play once a week and I'm also only 6'0 175 lbs. Do you recommend a 12" or a 13.5" barrel? pedro24
The 12" or the 13.5" barrel would be suitable for your height and weight.
Kara
Why is the stealth 98 asa certified and not the stealth 100? Dean
ASA has stricter bat standards than some other organizations. The Stealth 98 meets ASA standards. The Stealth 100's performance exceeds ASA standards.

What bat is replacing this bat since it's discontinued? Paul
The most similar bat to the 2013 Easton Stealth 100: (SP12ST100) Slow Pitch that you can find in the current Easton product line is the 2014 Easton B1.0: (SP13B1) Slow Pitch. Both bats are very balanced two-piece composite designs that feature 13.5" IMX Composite barrels and are certified for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. We have this bat, but we also use it for fastpitch. On the weekend we were told it was an illegal bat for fastpitch. From everything I have read, it is fine. Can anyone confirm? This is in Canada, but Softball Canada just says ISF stamped bats are legal. Witch11
I'm not certain why this 2013 Easton Stealth 100 (SP12ST100) Slow Pitch bat wouldn't be approved in your league. If it's a men's fastpitch league, a slow pitch bat would be your only option. The only explanation I can think of would be that this bat would not be approved for a women's fastpitch softball league, as it's technically not the right category of bat. But I also see the same ruling as you do, in regards to ISF certified bats: http://www.softball.ca/english/about/approved-equipment/bats.html. Unfortunately, we won't be able to overrule the league's stance on this situation. But this SP12ST100 can be found on that ISF approved list. I would attempt to get clarification from the league to find out what specifically makes this bat illegal.
