Pros: This bat is the BEST BAT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BBCOR bats are usually not as good, but this bat is better than most BESR bats!!!! THis bat is so good, that the college team who used it had complaints from other teams saying the bats they were using werent allowed. Basically the bat so good, that other teams didn't think it was BBCOR
Cons: NADA!!!!!!!!!
Sloni
Pros: So much pop! great bat. great price, you cant go wrong with this bat!
Cons: to good to have cons
Wcsbaseball
Pros: great pop loud sound great sweet spot best bbcor and is better than most besr bats
Cons: Nothing
alex
Pros: absolutely incredible nothing but liners on every swing and the memory foam handle takes away all the vibration so you're left with the smoothest swing in BBCOR
Cons: this bat wasnt out 3 years ago
OVHS Baseball
Pros: Bought this version (the red one), the kids loved it in BP.
Cons: On the 3rd at-bat of its existence someone got jammed and it made a huge dent in the handle, bigger than a golf ball. Customer service was great, RIP-IT paid for shipping and took it in, but they replaced it with a white one. Not sure if I like that or not, they returned a different bat than I bought.
Pittsburgh Dad
Pros: Incredible bat - 14 year old son loves it - great feel - great pop - loves 1 piece feel - bat does not lag behind - he has hit everything - best BBCOR. If you buy anything else...wasting you money...dollar for dollar, hit for hit, best BBCOR on the market - get the original...don't waste money on Prototype II
Cons: NOTHING - great bat...there is no bat out there worth 279 let alone 399...ignore the marketing of DeMarini...this little guy kicks their butt hands down everytime
Lee
Pros: This bat is a real performer and is well balanced. Grphics are sick.
Cons: I had to return the first w2e bought because the end cap glue was coming off. The replacement had a poor paint job and the end cap glue started coming off on the replacement bat. Grea bat and idea, RIP-IT needs to work on its quality.
Danil
Pros: No BBCOR is the "Best Ever" as we will NEVER see 350' 14U home runs again. This bat is however FAR BETTER than any other BBCOR bat our there. This bat absorbs shock, requires NO break in period, has a HUGE sweet spot, has a great feeling when the ball jumps off it, is a good value, is far better than the next version by Rip It and looks good.
Cons: The grip has a different feeling and took a couple of weeks to get where it felt comfortable
Nehring
Pros: Just received this bat this afternoon. Took my son for one of his weekly instructional sessions where he used the bat for the first time. My son is 13 and this is his first BBCOR bat. Let me tell you that the ball explodes off this bat like a rocket launcher! The sound is like that of a wood bat. It seemed that no matter where the ball was hit, it was coming off the bat like it was all sweet spot! My son has always been a decent hitter, but I have NEVER seen him hit the ball with such power. This bat is the best bat that he has ever used, without a doubt! There is no vibration, or "stingers" when using this bat. The gel grip is superb. The main reason for purchasing this bat was to get him acclimated to swinging a heavier bat, then using his USSSA certified bat for games. But after witnessing what I saw tonight, this will be his bat for the season!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Rocksolid
Pros: Price and money back guarantee are what stands out. Bat is no different than any other BBCOR bagt
Cons:
Bunky
Pros: I am a high school coach that has been trying a lot of bats to see what would be the best fit for my team. After looking at the reviews on the Rip-It, I decided to take a whack at it and try it. I personally liked it for the money, but my players didn't. It was a little to end loaded for them and in the cold it rang them a little. I did like the 30 day try and send it back.
Cons: End loaded. Not as much pop as I thought when compared to other bats. Rang hands in the cold.
hen-egg
Pros: Best BBCOR bat on the face of the planet .
Cons: Absolutely none , if you can swingit this bat will send it .
Mike
Pros: Great bat. I love hitting with it. It feels better than any other BBCOR bat I've ever tryed.
Cons: The fact that more people don't know about this bat.
Nehring
Pros: This bat is a MONSTER! Someone said that the days of 350 foot homeruns being hit by 14U players were long gone due to BBCOR bats... All I have to say is that comment is total BS... My son is a 13U player and has already hit a 420 foot blast with this bat! The bat is solid. It is a rocket launcher. Ball speed off this bat is incredible! No "ping" with this bat either... it has the sound of wood when hit correctly. Sweet spot seems to be anywhere on the barrel. It may not be for everyone... but this is my son's bat of choice.
Cons: Absolutely no cons with this ballistic bomber!
BLKRANGER
Pros: Great pop, great consistancy. Grand Slam 395ft 1st hit out of the wrapper. Sounds just like a non BBCOR bat.
Cons: Everyone wants to use mine!
Baseball Mom
Pros: I bouoght this bat for my 16 year old son a few weeks ago. He has only had a few practices but LOVES this bat. He has mentioned that the grip is the best he has ever felt on a bat and he likes the design on the bat. He likes the way he hits with it as well.
Cons: None so far.

In considering this bat vs say Louisville Exogrid2 - listening to the audio, this bat (and the Prototype II) have a much lower ball-contact tone than the Exogrid (the Rip-It sounds more like a thump where the Exogrid is more of a ping).
