Pros: Great Bat. My 8 year old had to move to this since the composites are not legal in our league anymore and this bat is better that what he was using. 28in 18oz is perfect for him. The ball is jumping off the bat. We've ordered 3 bats from this company and all of them have been at our door 2 days after the order and we selected 5 day shipping. This website rules!!!!

Pros: USSSA bat for 2012, the bat shows the stamp. Solid hits with this bat. Bat has a nice sweet spot on it. Plus the bat looks good.
Cons: Go with a lighter bat if you weigh less than 115 lbs. You need to be fast and strong to swing this bat, it's a drop -10.

Pros: Got this bat for my 7 year old he is 4'6 so we got the 29". It has good pop a solid sound to it too. I chose this bat because it is his first season playing and liked the durability reported by other posters. Also the customer service staff recommended it. Compared it to the Rival and Worth Lithium. So far with almost daily BP/soft toss/lessons and even a little bit of machine pitch usage, not a single dent. We have had this for a couple of months. He is very happy with it.
Cons: None

Pros: Awesome bat with lots of pop! This is the first time I've paid this much for a bat, so I reviewed bats for 5 days before deciding on the TPX and it has been worth every penny. Only 3 games so far, but the bat was hot out the wrapper and seems to be durabile. Also, Just Bats possibly provided the best online experience ever. Bat arrived in 2 days.
Cons: None at this time.
Proud Dad
Pros: Bat was delivered quickly. My son's first game with the bat was a huge success. The ball really jumps off the bat and with the larger barrel it has a very nice sweet spot.
Cons: We are no longer able to hit the ball in my backyard. I have a small yard and the neighbors were getting tired of us having to retrieve the ball out of their yard.

Cons:
Mr. Unsatisfied
Pros: Looks Cool, but don't EVER judge a book by its cover.
Cons: Swung this in about 3 games. A total of 10 at bats and the Omaha dented in 3 different places. Chips VERY easily!!! I am switching to the DeMarini Voodoo RIGHT AWAY!! Do not take a chance with this bat!

Pros: We bought this bat for my 4'2, 65lb son. He has always been a hitter BUT the power of this sweet spot and the drive my 7yo put behind this bat is killer. We purchased 02/12, now 04/12 there are a few marks from balls(to be expected). This bat is superb. HAPPY WITH OUR PURCHASE. Our son is happy as well.
Cons: Our son says the bat stings his hands when he doesn't wear his batting gloves.

Pros: Picked this bat up cheap, obviously since it's 4 years old. It is amazing! Used the Assault last season, same ST+20 alloy, and did well with it. If you can find one, grab it. It's better than any other bat he has now.
Cons: None to this point.
Love the ST+20 Alloy Keith B. parent
Pros: Found this bat last year, 2015. My son is using it now, 2016/2017 season. He loves it, and it is a really good bat. We'll be upgrading a little next year to the 517. He used the Assault last year. What's cool is that there are no other around because they came out 5 years ago!
Cons: None.
Using it now, 2016 Keith B. parent
Pros: Great pop out of the wrapper. Good feel for those who like to know if they hit it good or not.
Cons: Typical alloy sting on mishits, but not terrible.

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
