BLUGOLDMAN
Pros: Excellent responsiveness with contact on any part of the barrell. no break in needed. The softball popped off the bat in the first hit. continues to outperform the DeMarini CF4.
Cons: sound may intimidate the average hitter. When ball comes off the bat it sounds like you are breaking fine china. Really. Very unique sound to the bat! Don't let it scare you though.
Anonymous
Pros: Awesome! I will not compare this bat with batting averages as we all know that has a lot to do with technique and hours and hours of hard work. My daughter is a good hitter at 12U but I will say she had her first grand slam with this bat the first weekend she used it. The ball comes off the bat with such pop it is scary. Just be careful with bunts, they could turn out to be line drives:)
Cons: Feels a little end-loaded, a little heavy on the barrel and has taken a little away from her snapping the bat head through. Just needs a little getting used to.
JP
Pros: Great Bat as advertised. Perfect for slapping.
Cons: I hope this one lasts longer than last years model. It went dead after 8 months, we shall see.
Coachwt
Pros: Best bat we ever bought!! Hot right out of the box! Ordered on a Wednesday and had it by the weekend. The girls call it the magic bat.. Clutch Coach
Cons: NONE
Bixby
Pros: Awesome Sweet spot and probably the best money I've ever spent on a bat. Beats the CF4 by miles! Will continue to stick with Louisville slugger from now on. This bat is HOT out of the wrapper! Ball flies off of it!
Cons: Sounds a little different when you hit a ball, but when you see it work: It's worth it!
Katwan
Pros: Hot bat right out of the wrapper. No break in necessary. Big sweet spot. I hit the ball further than ever before!!! I would definitely recommend this bat.
Cons: None!!!
Softball Addict
Pros: My daughter plays 18u so we have purchased over 20 composites through the years. This is the best bat she has ever had in her hands. It is hot right out of the wrapper. Best bat on the market!
Cons: NONE!

Pros: My daughter loves her new bat. Hot out of the wrapper. She was hesitant to change from her Stealth. Very unique sound.
Cons:
Team Mom
Pros: LOVE IT!!!! We bought our daughter the 2011 one and she adored it then we won the 2012 one. And OMG it is awesome!! She LOVES this bat. Love the sound, everyone knows what that crack means. Definitely worth paying the money.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it, but that would be a plus.
softball coach
Pros: Ball just fly's off the bat. I have never seen a ball come off a bat like this. It is scary how the ball reacts to this bat.
Cons: Seems slightly top heavy, my daughter went from a 32/20 DeMarini Vendetta to the 33/23 Xeno. Would have liked it more if it was a -11 33/22 bat. It is taking a while for her to get use to the added 3oz's. But it was definetely worth the jump.
big al
Pros: great bat ! has plenty of pop ! my 13 year old daughter has been hitting well and even better with this bat !! extremely happy !
Cons: high pitch ping ! sound . but if you are hitting base hit after base hit , who cares about the sound !
CoachJ5513
Pros: Very nice bat, good looking, and hot out of the wrapper. 12 yr old had been challenging fences with 31" Toxic, hit first one out this weekend with 32" XENO. Very happy with bat.
Cons: None at this time.
Sue-z
Pros: Bought this bat 32 -10 to replace Mendoza 31 -11 for my 11 yr old daughter. Just got back from our 1st tourney w/this bat. Swung it on Sunday and got an legit HR. HOT right from the get go. Everyone could tell she was gonna use the "MAGIC BAT" by the distinct sound during warm-ups.
Cons: Would like to see this bat in a -11, but with an adjustment it works!!!
Gillie
Pros: Love the Bat! The best bat I have ever owned. Easy to handle great grip. I would never use any other bat. Has a unique sound when ball comes off bat but I do not see that as a con.
Cons:
Pork Chop
Pros: Bat is very hot! I created a 9 year old beast when I bought this one. Went from a Combat to the Xeno - not comparable. My daughter ate up a pitcher and a 3rd baseman her first game with it not to mention the shots to the outfield. Very Hot! Worth the money.
Cons: White handle gets dirty quickly. The whole team wants to now use it.
Anonymous
Pros: none
Cons: Very small sweetspot in the smaller size bats. Not a good choice for young players.
slick
Pros: Great bat it has alot of pop, we went from using a Rocket Tech for two years to the Xeno. She got it for christmas and has hit one bucket of balls and loves the bat, six went over the fence. The sound of the bat is not an issue when you see the results you get.
Cons:
Ashleigh
Pros: I LOVE THIS BATTT!!! It's FREAKING Amazing. <3 I would NOT trade it for ANY other bat. Has so.... much pop!
Cons: Sound is kind of annoying, bout you get used to it.
13softball
Pros: great bat this is probally the best bat i have ever had it has got alot of pop
Cons:
Pork Chop
Pros: Hot bat from day one. My daughter plays 10u and we went from a combat to the Xeno. Well worth the money. It has raised her confidence at the plate when she sees the rockets that comes off it. I didn't think a bat could make that much difference in confidence or swings but I am a believer now. I would buy this bat even if it was 400+ bucks knowing what I know now. No sting - no matter where you hit ir or how cold it is. Those complaints from my daughter have stopped. Even when you know it should sting - nothing.
Cons: The defensive players need to be awake as the balls that come off this bat will hurt you. The sound, I wouldn't say is con. It is different but with the hit that comes off it and the sound - it makes people notice it and say wow! If you want your invest held low key and think only your kid will use it - don't fool yourself. The team will want to hit it - period.
abbeyisawesome23
Pros: this bat is the coolest it has good colors and pop i think it is the best bat ever

Cons:
xeno fan
Pros: My daughter loves this bat.Since she has had this bat her rockettech never comes out of the bag.Sorry Anderson. This bat is the real deal!
Cons: My only problem with this bat is that every girl on the team doesnt have one.
I luv my Softball Player #17
Pros: She was excited to get it & of course couldnt wait to hit with it!!! So her first time using it she got a HOMERUN!!! So yeah its an awesome bat..worth the money..
Cons:
dksmzm
Pros: i have to say, we just got the bat. my daughter hit 5 over the fence with it at practice. justbats had an issue with fedex. we ordered friday for saturday delivery. fedex dropped the ball. but just bats took very good care of us throughout the ordeal. and i would be happy to order from just bats anytime. they are a great company! did everything they said they were gonna do! thanks
Cons: so far we havent found any! been good so far
xenouser23
Pros: Awesome bat, with extreme pop. Compared to the easton stealth or demarini bats the xeno is basically a trampoline , and the bat itself isnt as "dense" as the stealth or CF4. The xeno's sound makes coaches turn their heads and really is an attention grabber. It also doesnt break at all. Ive had 4 2011 easton stealths which all cracked within 50 pitches... the xeno hasnt cracked with 1,000 pitches yet. highly recommend this bat.
Cons:
amanda
Pros: the best bat i have ever owned. hot right out of the wrapper.
Cons:
DoctorG
Pros: HOTTEST BAT OUT THERE! I'm a college caliber player and I would not DARE go up to the box with any other bat. It's hot out of the wrapper. I've used friends' Demarinis and Eastons and they have NOTHING on the Xeno.
Cons: Some umps complain that it sounds dead but after they check they realize that it's not. It's really not a problem.
Carriecakes
Pros: No aches from missing the sweet spot, THE SOUND(!!!), it really makes the ball pop right into the outfield and over the fence!
Cons: nothing wrong with this bat!
Blaze
Pros: Balanced, has a nice sweet spot bigger than the CF-5,no vibration at all! Love the Sound!
Cons: This bat is balanced but not as well as the CF-5.
Maddie
Pros: Love this bat! This bat has so much pop. I had a Catalyst before this, so the noise the bat makes when it contacts the ball is nothing new. You get used to it and it's well worth it!
Cons:
casey
Pros: Bat has tremendous pop. My 12yr. daughter hit her 1st homerun with this bat.
Cons: None.
Droid
Pros: Great pop despite the sound. My daughter paid for half of this bat because I wouldn't spend $300 on a Louisville Composite which are notorious for losing their pop quickly. Hopefully this bat will make me change my look at Louisville bats.
Cons: TPS bats are notorious for losing their pop quickly. Have seen it time after time during years of coaching.
prouddad
Pros: My 15 year old daughter used it in her first High School game Saturday single, double, a home run and an intentional walk. You be the judge.
Cons:
Mom
Pros: Bought this bat for my daughter. She absolutely loves it! Not only is shipping free....it's fast too.
Cons: None.
KBM3
Pros: Awesome bat, hottest bat on the market. My daughter loves it. we bought it last year in High School and now plays college ball and just about everyone on her team has this bat or is using hers
Cons: The sound the bat makes when the ball is hit is odd the results are awesome,,, no cons yet
Jim
Pros: Its as promised hot right out of the wraper. Daughters confidence is up. Shes hitting farther
Cons: none at all. xeno is for real
roy
Pros: Bat has great pop to it. The ball really travels when you hit it solid. My 11 year old really loves it, she is getting closer to the fence.
Cons: has a different sound to it. but not really any problem.
izz
Pros: This bat has so much pop!!!!! when i first got it i was just hitting shots... just the other day i hit a home run I LOVVEE THIS BAT!

Jac
Pros: Ball comes off hard
Cons: Bat snapped in half after having it for 7 months
sav14
Pros: i love this bat it feels like it makes the ball go farther ... i play 10 u in fastpitch and i see a lot of girls with this bat and u can hear a pop to it
Cons: theres a lot of conditions to have this bat and u have to keep it over 60 degree weather and not to store it in someting thats really hot
Vin#4
Pros: My daughter demo'd this bat and WOW....the ball does jump off this bat!
Cons: Bought this bat for my 13 year old daughter and (3) days later it broke in half. Got (1) weekend and less than 50 swings out of it. Louisville Slugger was very good and is sending me a replacement w/ balance of warranty not a warranty return!
MacksMom
Pros: Great bat! You don't have to break it in. It pops from the first swing.
Cons: My daughter's broke in half after 2 months of use. Hope this doesn't happen again.
TPS xeno
Pros: Awesome bat. Thought it would be too much bat for me but it wasn't. Big sweet spot awesome pop. I recommend it to anyone.
Cons:
Crazy Baller
Pros: Great bat has a lot of pop!
Cons: Less than a mth old hit smack in its sweet spot and broke in to two!
tiger8
Pros: This is the best bat i have ever had! Right when i got it i went to go hit off the tee and the balls went flying. Another thing is that you can't feel any vibration when you hit a ball which is good thing cause those stingers hurt. It also makes a loud CRACK when you hit the ball just right.
Cons: NONE!!
Payton513
Pros: Big sweet spot!!Pretty colors.
Cons: Expensive!!!
softball13
Pros: This bat makes the ball just rocket off the bat when you hit. This is the best bat that i have personally ever used. I wouldn't want to use any other bat in my tournaments.
Cons: None at all!
Mike
Pros: Awesome!!! Enough said!
Cons:
This is Josie!!
Pros: Ummm, ya nothing really tto say except for this is the best bat ever!!!! The ball just rockets off!! I was in a slump for a couple of weeks and when I used this bat I gained my confidence back and I was good to go!! Now I'm a great power hitter and slapper again!!!!!
Cons: Nothing....love it love it love it!!!!!!!!
131313softball
Pros: ball comes off hard
Cons: heavy
Softball Player
Pros: There isn't any sting when you hit with this bat, no matter where you hit it. That much is true. If you can manage to hit one just right you get a good hit with good distance, and I'm 5'4" and about 130lbs.
Cons: The warranty requires that you KEEP YOUR RECEIPT, as well as keeping that little warranty paper that you get your bat with. Also, if you don't get the ball EXACTLY right on the sweet spot, the ball dies. Many times I have switched to my CF4 -9 during tournaments because it is more reliable if I don't get a great hold on the ball.
Payton Bates
Pros: I love this bat. The sound is amazing and who cares about the white handle getting dirty it shows that you used it. Baseball players also s aid they wish there bats sounded like this. This bat is top heavy which is one of the things I like best about it. <3
Cons: THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS BAT. <3
Andrea
Pros: I just got this bat today and I already love it! After we left the store I went to the diamond and hit fast balls from my brother and they popped off instantly. I loved it! I am very excited to show my friends and let my team use it!
Cons: The sound when you hit it off the sweet spot sounds bad, but when you see it fly your jaw will drop and eyes will pop open!!
pride99
Pros: it light and goes far even if u dont hit hard
Cons:
Stars2000Dad
Pros: Bat is all its advertised as!!! Daughter's first tournament using the bat and constantly hit shots on both ends of the field. Even hit the fence for the first time!! Bat is awesome no complaints
Cons: none so far
SnakeBoy
Pros: Bat has great pop when hit perfectly. Also Louisville Slugger has great Customer Service
Cons: My daughter snapped two of these in half within two weeks of purchase, but were replaced under warranty. So far the one is holding up. We just got the other back from LS two days ago, so no review yet. Also this bat requires near perfect hitting technique, because it only has a small room for error. If your technique is average, this is not the bat for you. Demarini is more forgiving for hitters that have average hitting techniques.
burtbag
Pros: Daughter hit a homerun with this bat in her first at bat . Then went on an 8 for 11 tear .lots of POP, love the sound .
Cons: Broke in the 15 th at bat . Almost snapped in half where the 2 pieces attach .
Wild Thing
Pros: Hot out of the box, sounds amazing
Cons: Grip wears out because 2/3 of the team will use it.
dedicateddad
Pros: I was torn with buying such an expensive bat until my girls used it. Worth every penny for the feeling i get from watching my daughters succeed. This bat has awesome pop and the sound is killer. I've had other parents want me to let their daughters try it out during batting practice and I've had other coaches come up to me to check it out. I bought this bat mainly for my 9 yr old who is in her first year of 10u and she loves it. My younger girl is in her first year of 8u and begged me to let her swing it in a game... she now refers to it as the "magic" bat. I've had a lot of fun this year watching them.

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
