Pros:  A very "balanced" bat! Equivalent to the "Surge" as far as weight distribution is concerned. In no way is it "End Loaded" Has an excellent "Pop". Very pleased with this bat as far as performance is concerned. Your kid will not be disappointed if a balanced bat is what your looking for

Cons:  Graphics is "Sick" looking may not want you to swing it! Best looking bat by far!

Pros:  Bought this bat (29"/16oz) as a gift for my son who already has a (28"/15oz)2011 Voodoo and I could tell a difference right away. First thing I noticed was that this bat sounds like a fire cracker but the best part is that it isn't all bark he is hitting it noticeably further. His coaches couldn't help but say wow at the next practice at how well and far he was driving the ball. Worth every penny!

Cons:  none yet, aside from the other boys wanting to use it.

Description for 2012 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDL Youth
Back with an impressive new design and mind-blowing new graphics, the Voodoo is THE lightweight option for youth players this season! The Voodoo's supremacy begins at the handle where DeMarini introduces a new composite material this season called TR3 Strut Composite. With TR3, DeMarini seeks to replicate the triangular structure of a crystal, as that is what helps make crystals one of the toughest and most stable compounds on earth. TR3 Composite is strong, stable, and predictable - without any unnecessary weight. This handle is designed to efficiently transfer power from your hands to the barrel giving players balance and consistency with every swing. The barrel of the Voodoo is constructed with DeMarini's SC4 Alloy. This alloy provides a thickness tuned wall that extends the entire length of the barrel contributing to a wickedly hot and insanely durable sweetspot! The Voodoo also features Half and Half Technology that redistributes weight to give the bat optimal balance. This is extremely beneficial to younger players as it gives them the ability to swing faster with less effort; ultimately resulting in more power! DeMarini: Insane Dedication to Performance! The Voodoo is approved for play in all major youth leagues. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
