The D-BAT SBMT model Softball Bat is offered in lengths of 33" and 34" with a length to weight ratio between -6 to -8 depending on the length of the bat. The SBMT's tapered barrel ensures maximum barrel length with out the "Heaviness" of a traditional softball bat. The design of this bat places most of the weight in the middle of the bat to produce unbelievable balance, greater stability, as well as added bat speed through the hitting zone. What is the difference between Bamboo and Birch wood? John Smith

Bamboo is a harder wood than Birch therefore when the ball is hit in the sweet spot you will see a little better performance. However, the sweet spot on Birch is more forgiving therefore is slightly larger and will send less vibrations throughout the bat if you miss the sweet spot.
