Pros: i've always stuck with easton my entire life. i would get a couple good hits. but i switched to this bat and my hitting is 200% better. just this weekend i hit 3 homeruns. this bat has more pop than any other bats i've ever used. another girl on my team used my bat instead of her rocket tech. she got one of the most solid line drives she's gotten all season. amazing bat
Cons: if you're a fast swinger, this bat will be hard to wait on the ball with, but its very light and very nice

Pros: Bought a 32 and a 30 for my 14 and 11 year old daughters teams and it was worth the price just to see the looks on their faces when they got a hold of one. The ball flies off this bat and the balance is great even when choked up on.
Cons: My wallet is empty, so whats new! My outfielder are having to turn and run a lot during practice because me and the other coaches get carried away.
"THE HAMMER"
Pros: nice snap with each hit, not too heavy, perfect for slapping and great for switch hitters
Cons: if its cold it will have a greater chance of snapping near the connection piece,NEED a sleeve to keep on it while it is in your bat bag so it stays warm, better hits when you keep your bat warm

Pros: My daughter was in a bad hitting slump. Played in a National Qualifier. She used this bat that the coach owned and went 6 for 8 for a .625 for the weekend, best on the team. We played against teams from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Great pitching and great talent.

Pros: I really needed a new softball fastpitch bat and I was looking into the demarini pheonix and i heard this bat replaced the pheonix so i figured why no? but I love this bat
Cons: It takes a little while to break in. It took about a month to get the power in the ball out of the swing. but stick with it because it's the best bat i have ever used!

Pros: The best bat out there. hasnt cracked at all and we have had it now for almost a year! great pop ever since we opened it. After i started getting good hits in travel ball everyone bought this bat on our team.
Cons:
Twink's Dad
Pros: My daughter plays under 14 travel and school ball. She used to known for bunting. She is now known for hitting with power. She has been crushing the ball with this bat.
Cons: I have to chase the balls alot further when we practice.
softballgal08
Pros: This bat is by far the best bat out there! I am in 14U and i had the stealth and now i use this bat. The difference is amazing. I usd to hit the ball hard to the outfield, now i am hitting homeruns! I love it! Its worth the money. :]
Cons: There will never be any because it is such an awsome bat!

Pros: Great solid hitting bat for my daughter. The bat doesn't make the hitter but this bat produces for the hitters. Nice bat!! My daughter loves it.

Pros: i play college softball and this is a great bat. there is a good balance and the ball just flies off the barell.
Cons: the sting stop might not be as good as the easton stealth but if you hit the ball in the sweet spot its way better than the stealth.
Madi's Dad
Pros: I purchased this bat for my 16u daughter on Thursday 11/6/08 had it shipped overnight, got it friday. played tournament saturday and my duaghters 16u team all used it and loved it. We scored 55 runs in 5 games. We have owned many rockettechs, rip-it and many easton bats (Including the White and purple stealth) but never any demarini bats. This bat is the best bat we have every used. Awesome Bat
Cons:

Pros: ALBUQUERQUE NM 12U COACH I bought this bat over the easton stealth (over rated)my daughter is 12 and this bat has improved her hitting alot. the sweet spot is huge bUy it you will love it.
Cons: Well its a carbon fiber bat and you have to baby it. You can not hit it cold weather you can not hit certin balls off a batting machine. my daughter only hits batting practice with a sleave on her bat which changes the weight of the bat not by much but it does, but still the best bat out there ;)
sillygooserfastpitch17
Pros: i play on the 12U select teams. i just recently started useing this bat and it has the most pop ive ever seen (better then anderson).
Cons: there are none!
18u Coach
Pros: I was really surprised by this bat. I'm a big DeMarini fan Most of my girls swing the Phenix and I think it's overall the best fastpitch bat around. I didn't expect the CF3's to as good with the tight test standards. I've hit a broken in Phenix and a new CF3 side by side and I notice very little power drop o in the new bat. the sweet spot might be even better.
Cons: There might be slightly more sting on a bad mis-hit, then again it;s hard to mis-hit this bat.
homerunhitter019

About the Brand

In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
