Pros: This is a great bat. My Daughter is in 10U and she loves it. I can't wait to see her hit with the harder ball next yr and really get the true pop off the bat.The drop 11.5 has made a world of difference for her adding the extra weight.Gave her some new power in a transfer of energy from the heavier bat. we were using a drop 13 aluminum bat before. Great investment.90% of hitting is Mental.

Cons: I wish I would of purchased this bat before the other 2 bats I bought both the TPS Odyssey and the Worth and neither bat made a difference like the SYNGE.

Pros: My daughter just got this bat and absolutely loves it! She is in heaven. She bunts, slaps and hits away and this bat is good for all 3. She used it in 5, 12U games this weekend and was very happy with the results. She is small in stature, so the lighter weight of the bat is a plus.

Pros: I purchased this bat for my 11yr old and she loves it. The sweet spot is nice and it has a lot of pop, even with a slow bat speed. My girl is hitting to the fence! Our team was getting their pictures taken when one of the Sr. Basball members even comented on how hot the bat was! Sorry boys this bat SCREAMS "girls fastpitch only" The bat looks best in the sunlight with its sweet graphics.

Pros: My daughter has been using this bat for the last month at batting lessons and the bat is worth every dime. I always preach to my daughter that "its your technique and fundamentals" that produce hits not the bat..This bat makes the ball travel a further distance and the hits are solid..Can't wait to see it in game action this fall

Pros:

Cons: Replaced my daugher's two-year old Lisa Fernandez COMbat with this bat...one size up. After an all star season and some fall travel ball I'm looking to replace it. Compared to the COMbat this bat feels dense and "dead". Am also unhappy with the hand stinging mentioned by other users. One other girl on my team has the same model and complained about the same thing. In a perfect world the girls would always hit the ball squarely but the reality is that they don't and the occasional pain causes them to swing less aggressively.

Pros: not much, I thought it would be for the price

Cons: Stinging, no pop, price. this bat is not good... I have waited 6 months and over 500 hits to place this review. I was hoping it would come around after a few hundred hits. Honestly this is the worst easton bat i have ever bought. I knew there was a reason I switched to worth a couple years ago.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Synge Fastpitch Softball Bat: SRV6B? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

How does this bat compare to the Easton Stealth? Broski
There are two main differences between the Synge and the Stealth. The first is based on the "drop" or length to weight ratio (minus number). The Synge has a -11.5 drop so it will ultimately provide lighter weight options. The other main difference is based on the construction. The Stealth is a two-piece bat. The Synge is a one-piece design.
Jeff
What colors does this bat come in? Dad
The Easton Synge only comes in one color scheme. The yellow, white, and gray colored bat shown is the only available color.
Rick
Is this bat like the Easton Synergy SCN1B (blue and grey one)? I really enjoyed that bat and i'm trying to find one like it. Annie.Veatch
The Easton Synge is very similar based on material and contruction. It is a one-piece, all-composite design. It differs in length-to-weight options (drop) from -10 to -11.5.
Jeff
I noticed that there is a all yellow one & white & yellow version of this. any difference in performance? Frank
There is not going to be any muchdifference in the bat performance. The only difference is going to be the year the bat was produced and the composite used in the bat. This bat will have a little more pop and durability.
Brett
does this bat have a break in period loo
Yes, this bat will have a breaking in period. This is a composite bat, all composite bats will have a break in period. Between 100-150 soft toss swings will do the job in breaking in this bat.
Brett
i use a synerge clarity that is 22oz and -10. Would this bat be hard to use or get used to? jenna
No. I think this would be an easy bat for you to transition to. It will have a similar feel and balance to the clarity and I think it may even be a little better performing.
Brett
will i be abel to use this bat . if im with a 16yr old && up team. Tacole
Yes. This bat is ASA approved and will be legal for all fastpitch leagues.
Brett
I have a small framed daughter, not to strong, 10 years old, 4"10 about 70 lbs. would the 30" be good for her? 5brownz
Based on her age, height and weight, a 30" SRV6B would be an excellent option.
Brett
My daughter is 15 years old and 5'8" approx.140 lbs. considering buying this bat or stealth which dou you suggest she is more of a line drive than fly ball hitter db
The SRV6B is going to be more of a contact hitters bat since it is a one piece bat. The SSR3B is going to be more for a power hitter since it is a two piece bat.
Todd
My Daughter is a Freshman in College..5'3" Slapper.... She is hitting a C4 now and hates it....Is this bat able to withstand a college season or is it more of a youth bat...... Looking for the right bat to put in her hands....HELP !!! Thanx Bulldog
The SRV6B will be able to handle a full college season. Power, comfort and performance are three of the things that this bat exhibits with every swing. The one-piece all composite design provides added durability and performance, which will last through a full college season.
Dave
the swing ratio of the weight is it heavier in the handle or the barrel? Kent
The bat should have a very evenly distributesd weight so the swing ration should be balanced.
Kyle
My daughter is 12yrs. old.. 140 lbs and 5'5". she has a powerful swing but hasn't learned to use her full potential. she us currently using a 31" 19oz. not composite bat.... is this bat a good match? should I go up to a 32"? her current bat was purchased from you 2 christmas' ago... thank you Denise
I would move her up to a 32 inch bat. I would also move her up one to two oz. in weight.
Kara
My son is 12 years old he has a big frame and is very strong in the arms. Would this be a good bat for him or if not what would be a good bat for him Coytey
This is a fastpitch bat, intended for girls softball. I would look at the Easton Rival or the new XL3 which will come out November 1st.
Kara
My daughter is 12 years old about 5ft tall and weighs 75lbs, what size and weight bat should I order? She is currently using a 31 length 19 oz noncomposite bat. Aimee
For her size, a 31/19oz bat is average. If you think moving up an inch and an ounce wouldn't slow her down too much you could do that but shes using the normal size now.
Mark
Is this the same bat as the Easton Indigo? Was told the Indigo is a special edition Synge, wanted confirmation. Rjm
I haven't heard of the Easton Indigo so I would not be able to confirm if it was a special edition of the Synge.
K.B.
I bought my granddaughter a Bustos 30/17 last Fall ball and she used it to the end of this Fall ball. I purchsed her a Synge 29/17.5 half way through but she doesn't like swinging it. So what's a good bat to move her up to for bigger hits and no sting. Hollywood
I would recommend the Easton Rival in a 30/17.5.
Kara
My daughter is 5'3" 110lbs, she is 13. Currently she has a SCN8B 31" 21oz she loves the balance and feel of this bat. Would the SYNGE be a comparable bat and in what size she is looking for a longer bat? Also, does this bat have CNT (carbon nanotube technology). If not which Easton would match closest to the SCN8B? Pudge
The SSR4B would probably be a closer comparison to the SCN8B. The SSR4B uses the same CNT technology as the SCN8B. The Synge is an excellent bat though, but unfortunately, we won't be getting any bigger sizes in as it is a discontinued model.
Derek
I would like to buy but it onlys ays you ahve one size. I need a 33" -10. Thank you Chuck
Unfortunately, we are sold out in that size and will not be getting more in
Sean
When will more sizes be avaliable? Sandra
We will not be getting anymore sizes in stock, this model has been discontinued
Sean
What is the newest version of this bat? Sk
The closest model currently available to the Easton Synge (SRV6B) would be the 2014 Easton FS3 (FP14S3).
Patrick
WHAT DID THIS BAT GO FOR PRICE WISE? JOHN CAMBUNGA
The Easton Synge Fastpitch Softball Bat (SRV6B) was sold for $129.99.
