Choosing the Right Senior League Baseball Bat - JustBats.com Buying Guide

A helpful guide for choosing a Senior League bat that is right for you.

Transcript

Senior league is tough when it comes to figuring out what size of bat you need. Am I right? Well, don’t worry, I’m here to help you out, but before we get started, I want to make something very clear - the term ‘senior league’ means the exact same thing as the term ‘youth big barrel’ so remember that when you’re looking for your next bat. Ok, now we can get started.... Senior league bats are used by players who’ve graduated from little league ball, but aren’t quite ready for a high school bat yet, so a lot of the players are between 10 and 14 years old. As you can see, Senior League bats are made in a few different length to weight ... ratios, so all you need to do is figure out which one is best for you according to your size and strength. Remember, the lower the number, the heavier the bat is going to feel - so a minus 5 is going to be harder to swing than a minus 10. As far as length goes, senior league bats generally range from 27 to 32 inches. If you’re not sure what length you need, check out this ridiculously helpful bat sizing chart (pull chart in - look like it’s tough to do). Just match your height and weight to figure out the length that’s suggested for you - keep in mind that it’s just a guideline - if you need further assistance, please reach out to us - we’re available 24/7 to help you. Here’s one more piece of advice - drumroll please - pick a bat you can control - trust me, you’ll be able to produce faster swing speeds, which ultimately gives you ball crushing power. So that’s about it, like I said before, call our reps if you have any questions at all or check out our user-friendly bat coach. It’ll ask you a few questions, and based on your answers, it’ll select the bats that are best for you. Or if you’re ready to begin your search, check out JustBats.com. We have the largest selection of senior league bats on the web, and we’ll ship it to you not only freaky fast, but completely free, so remember, from click to hit at JustBats.com.
