Check Out the Inside of the Rawlings 5150 BBCOR Bat

Kris here at JustBats.com and today we received a bat form Rawlings that they have actually cut open and you can actually see inside the barrel and see what they had to do to make the new BBCOR standard. It is pretty neat. I know a lot of people out there want to see what is actually inside the barrel. Well you are in luck. I don't know if you guy... Read More of this video transcripts noticed that some manufacturers had to insert rings in their barrels to make them meet the BBCOR standard. Rawlings decided to take a different approach. What Rawlings done, is they thicken the walls at the sweet spot to make it pass the BBCOR standard but they have also left the wall alone at the end which is still much thinner wall. What that does is give you a more balanced feel. You get the same bats that you had before under - bats. A lot of the first of your players were complaining at the first BBCOR bats were more end loaded so slowing down the swing with this 5150 you get an increase in swing speed and you will definitely have a lot more pop than your more end loaded bat.So there you have it.
