Watch to ensure your youth bat is approved for play in Babe Ruth's 12U Cal Ripken Division!
Transcript
Babe Ruth Baseball’s 12 and under division is called the Cal Ripken division. Many people think they play in a league called Cal Ripken, so it’s important to note that it is just a division of Babe Ruth. Now for the rules. And they’re actually pretty easy to follow. First, your bat will need to have a 2 ¼ inch barrel diameter. If it’s an alloy or composite bat, it needs to be marked with a BPF 1.15 stamp. Doesn’t matter whether it’s the old one or the new one. If your bat is made of wood, and it has a 2 ¼ inch barrel, you should be good to go! And that’s it! If you have any other questions, our customer service team is here 24/7 to answer them for you. Just remember, from click to hit at JustBats.com!
