The JC24 turn model on this bat will be very similar to the 271 turn model that is used by many bat makers. The JC24 is cut with a thicker handle. As well, it has a little longer taper and a shorter barrel when compared to true power hitter bats. Because of these features, contact hitters can use this bat very easily and it can even be used by a power hitter that likes a balanced bat.
The big things to know with the Pro Reseve line of bats is that you are getting maple wood that has the pro ink dot certification (i.e. good for use in MLB) -and- this bat comes with Victus' ProPACT finish that compresses the wood to make it harder. Harder wood typically means harder & further hits + increased durability. The ProPACT finish is going to be the feature that allows this bat to covered with a warranty by Victus.
