Have a question about the Victus Pro Reserve FT23 Maple Wood Baseball Bat: VRWMFT23-FL/CR? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I've used the JC24 Pro Reserve and I'm looking to buy another one. However, I noticed this bat and was wondering if I should try it out. I'm not necessarily a power hitter (more of a gap-to-gap hitter). I was happy with the results with the JC24, but don't know if its worth it getting this one, or just sticking with the JC24? Most of the bats I've used in the past are balanced and when I saw the end-loaded feel on this bat I was wondering how much of a difference it would make on my swing?

At this exact time, it is hard to say 100% if you should move to an end-loaded feeling bat from a balanced feeling bat. The reason is because the move to an end-loaded bat could be a positive or a negative. The end-load might provide the extra weight in the barrel that you need to put more force into the ball and hit it further. However, the weight could be cumbersome to your swing and if you do not swing the end-loaded bat fast enough, it could hurt the success you are already enjoying with the JC24 bat. I would recommend seeing if anyone on your team would let you test out an end-loaded bat and to hit with it for a couple days to see how it affects your swing. If you see positive results, you can certainly go with this Victus Pro Reserve FT23 Maple Wood Baseball Bat (VRWMFT23-FL/CR), however, if you see that it hurts your swing, you'll know to go back to the JC24.
Is this bat bone rubbed from Victus?
The Victus Pro Reserve FT23 Maple Wood Baseball Bat: VRWMFT23-FL/CR will not be bone rubbed, but will have a ProPACT finish offers an exceptionally hard surface with big-league durability.
Since this is a newer model, how do I know if I should get this bat? I’ve never tried out Victus before but I’m really interested in buying this.

The Victus Pro Reserve FT23 Maple Wood Baseball Bat: VRWMFT23-FL/CR is a great option for someone that prefers a slightly end-loaded model, similar to an i13 turn style. If you prefer something that is more balanced, then the Victus Pro Reserve V110 Maple Wood Baseball Bat: VRWMV110-CHN would be the bat to consider.
Is the victus pro reserve FT23 a composite wood bat?
This Victus Pro Reserve FT23 Maple Wood Baseball Bat (VRWMFT23-FL/CR) is a all-natural maple wood baseball bat. It is not a composite wood baseball bat.
Is this Victus’ version of an i13?
This Victus Pro Reserve is very similar to the i13 that is made by Louisville Slugger, yes. Both will feature a slightly end-loaded swing weight, but I think the i13 should have a bit more of an end-loaded feel to it since it has a much thicker and longer taper compared to the Victus, which features a shorter taper that narrows to the handle much quicker.
