Description

Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN

The new NOX BBCOR bat from Victus was created with obNOXious speed, power and performance in mind. Victus has been in the lab working on this hybrid, BBCOR creation for many years and the bat is ready to be unleashed.

Bat Benefits

Power hitters will love this NOX BBCOR bat as it is designed with more mass in the barrel to allow for a high M.O.I. (requires more strength to swing) and maximum energy transfer. As mentioned earlier, it is a hybrid designed bat (alloy barrel and composite handle). Specifically, it combines a military-grade aluminum barrel and a composite handle.

This two-piece bat has been designed to feature a stiff connection point (which Victus calls the 2SIX connection). That connection point should limit nearly all uncomfortable vibrations that could come when hitting a baseball. In addition, the connection should allow the hitter to feel like all the power they put into their swing is being transferred into the baseball. If all this technology weren't enough already, Victus has also implemented variable thickness in the barrel walls. Plus the variable thickness has been added without the presence of governor rings in the barrel. This should allow for excellent performance if a batter is consistently hitting the baseball anywhere on the barrel.

Warranty

Victus is generous enough to provide a full twelve (12) month warranty on this bat from the purchase date. If you buy with us and experience a warranty issue within the first 12 months from the purchase date, please reach out to the  Bat Experts. The Bat Experts will be happy to set you up with the information for sending the bat to Victus for a replacement.

Absolute Beast Coach D Coach

Pros: Got this bat for my 17 year-old who is 5’9” and 153 pounds. First game with it he hit a ball about 335 feet which is further than he’s hit any other bat. Got this to replace a Demarini Voodoo end-loaded bat and couldn’t be happier. Everyone on the tourney team, who was swinging the Voodoo, switched to the Nox. Great feel and pop. It is quite end-loaded so if a balanced bat is your thing, then you may want to pass on the Nox. But if you like an end-loaded feel, it will be hard to do better than this bat.

Cons: Came with a slight rattle in the barrel from a bead a glue most likely.

Great bat Michael Player

Pros: I watched the review on baseball bat bros and wanted to try it myself. It came yesterday and after testing it, the bat has tons of pop, is light swinging, has a huge sweet spot, and looks sick. It has a nice feel and I would recommend this bat for a power hitter looking for a light swinging bat or a contact hitter looking for some more pop.

Excellent choice! Kevin Coach

Pros: Bat has tons of pop. Slightly end loaded, but still fast. Son is making solid contact. At 5’9”-165lbs, he leads the team on batting average, on base percentage, and slugging percentage. Number of extra base hits went way up with this bat.

Great bat right out of the gate J.Bucci Parent

Pros: Got this in a 31" for my son who plays 11U. First at bat doubled off the wall. Second at bat Grand Slam center field 240' over a 16' fence. We'll see what the next game brings. He's tall for 11 and bats cleanup but this bat so far has exceeded our expectations.

Pitchers Beware Gavin Player

Pros: This bat is worth all the hype! The Nox has crazy good pop and a forgiving sweet spot that will never ring you up. This bat is very good for hitters who are just getting into power hitting. This bat in my opinion is the best all round bat in BBCOR. It is incredible for Power Hitters as it provides the same pop and massive sweet spot like most end loaded bats. But the swing weight balances the bat perfectly. Durability is also not an issue as the bat can be used forever because of the rounded and built in, compresion end cap. This bat can be described as "Power with Control". This is the lightest "Power hitting" bat on the market.

Cons: Rung up if hit near the connector piece and grip comes off easily.

Nolan Parent

Pros: I bought this bat for my son when it hit the market in May of 2021, but my son didn't get too used to it last season due to arm issues. But this season, my son has hit 2 Grand Slams and hits so many hard line drives. My son is only 5'8 and 125 lbs, a small kid with quick hands, so this bat was a perfect fit for him. And I just purchased the Vandal because I want to see how that bat performs. Victus has produced one hot bat and has gained an customer.

Amazing squinter Player

Pros: A lot of pop right out of the rapper. Good swing weight it is end loaded but if you're a power hitter you should be fine. The feel is great, and I love the handle just with this bat don't try to get a bigger size or it will be too heavy I have tried many sizes. Great bat overall you just have to earn a good result by making a good swing it doesn't just hand you pop you have to make a good swing.

Pros: Looks absolutely sick! I was hitting crappy slow grounders where I would have to sprint just to get even close to getting on base, but when I got my sick Victus Nox I started hitting absolute nukes! I have a feeling I will hit my first home run ever because of this bat. I looooove this bat!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I have a 14 yr old who is 5'11" and 145 pounds and looking for first BBCOR. Consistently hits doubles this year using a drop 5 Cat 8 but not a home run hitter so far. Do you think the NOX would be a good choice? Quenton Pendleton
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN, at 32 inches, would be an excellent bat to consider for someone of your player's age, height and weight. This bat does feature an end-loaded swing weight which might not be ideal if he prefers more of a balanced bat like the CAT 8. The Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV would be a great alternative if a balanced swing weight is what he prefers.
Cameron
I just started playing on the big field and I have this question: will I hit the ball far with this bat and will I hit it hard? Is it a bat that stands out or is it a bat like every other bat? Can you recommend another bat for a 130 lb 5’7" kid who hits the ball hard and line drives? Gabe
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN is an excellent bat for those seeking an end-loaded model. For someone transitioning to BBCOR bats though we would not recommend this bat. A better option to consider would be the 31 inch model of the Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV. This bat will be well balanced and will give the best opportunity to produce the best bat speed a hitter can generate; bat speed will ultimately determine how far and fast a ball with travel and come off the bat.
Cameron
Is this ok to use in colder weather Hoody
It is recommended to use the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN is weather 55 degrees and above
Lauren
What is MOI Between the Nox and Vandal which one, and its size and weight, would you recomm. for a player who's a HS freshman. Approx. 5'11.5", 165, 15yo. , pretty strong and athletic with good bat speed. And why. Who would also like to get at least a couple of seasons of use if at all possible. Thanks. Ken Evans
MOI stands for mass moment of inertia. It is a measure of the distribution of mass in a bat. The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN will be an end loaded bat. Unless, he is a true power hitter I would recommend going with the Vandal. That will be the more balanced option which will be a better choice for contact hitters.
Tori
Can you use it for California high school baseball? Tony guralas
Yes, the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN can be used in high school baseball in the state of CA.
Cameron
I have a son that’s 5'4", 125 lbs., that’s a power hitter. Would that be a good bat for him? Tim
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN, with its end-loaded swing weight design, is an excellent bat to consider for a "power" type hitter.
Cameron
How would you compare it to the DeMarini The Goods BBCOR -3 33 inches? auston
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN is a similar design to that of The Goods from DeMarini. Both bats are hybrid models (alloy barrel and composite handle) with an end-loaded swing weight design.
Cameron
Does this bat need to be broken in? If so, what is the recommended procedure? Timothy
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN features an alloy barrel and thus does not require a break-in.
Cameron
I know this might be a vague question that is going to be most accurately answered by actually trying the bat, but, from what you’ve heard from customers and what not, if you had to choose the NOX or Select PWR what are you going with? Dill
Whether or not to get the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN or the LS Select PWR would really come down to player preference. Both are excellent bats for those who prefer the hybrid set up with the end-loaded swing weight design.
Cameron
Do you recommend the Victus NOX for a 13 year old using a BBCOR for first time? He will be switching from a USA youth bat. He’s 5'4" and weighs 125. Bryan H.
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN is an excellent bat to use if the player prefers a bat with an end-loaded swing weight. If that is the case for your player, then, based on his height and weight, we would recommend a 30 inch. Otherwise a balanced bat, like the Victus Vandal BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV, would be ideal.
Cameron
My son is 5'11" and 200 pounds. Used a 33 inch Stinger Nuke and had success. Do you think the NOX as a 33.5 inch will have a similar feel to a 33 inch Stinger Nuke? Damian
Both the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN and the Stinger Nuke feature a similar end-loaded swing weight design. One will likely feel a slight difference using a 1/2 longer NOX but nothing that would cause major swing issues.
Cameron
Is this bat the same as one listed with this information - Victus Sports - NOX -3, 32/29, (VCBN-32/29), Standard? Kim
Yes, the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN would be the same as what any other retailer would have listed as the NOX model is the two-piece hybrid with the end-loaded swing weight.
Cameron
Will there be a big difference in weight between a 32" The Goods 2 Piece and a 33" Nox. I was 140 last year and am now up to 160 would a 33 be the right size NOX? Bubba
There is not going to be a huge jump between the two. It may be noticeable at first but it something that you will not feel after you get used to it.
Dillon
I have a 14 year old 5'1" , 100 lbs. He has been playing ball since 4 years. He is starting as a freshman in high school. Is 31 to large? Willie Weaver
For his size and weight, we would probably suggest going down to a 30". However, the longest and heaviest bat that he can control will provide the best results.
Leeah
I am looking for a bat for my son. He is 14 yrs old, uses a 31 inch, and has to be a drop 3. He is 5'4" and weighs 100 lbs. Looking for bat to hit the ball further. Michelle Meese
Per your son's height and weight, we would recommend a BBCOR bat at 29-30 inches. The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN, with its end-loaded swing weight, would not be an ideal fit for him. A better option would be the Victus Vandal Gold BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBV2.
Cameron
My son is 14, 6’3” and 150 lbs. Would a 34 be too long? He’s in 8th grade. Laura
Per your son's height, weight and age, we would recommend the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN at 33 inches.
Cameron
Is this bat comparable to The Goods in how it feels and performs? James
The Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN is a comparable bat to The Goods from DeMarini.
Cameron
I have a 13 year old who weighs 110 and is 5'0, would this be a good bat for him? Betty Kenny
Per the height and weight of your player, we would recommend a BBCOR bat at 29 inches. Unfortunately, the Victus NOX BBCOR Baseball Bat: VCBN does not come in that size. The Marucci CATX BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBCX would be a better option to consider.
