This Metal Pro will feature some pretty similar features to StringKing's regular "Metal" USA Bat, but it will also have a couple of characteristics that set it apart.
First off, we'll discuss the similarities. Both bats will feature a one-piece and all-alloy design. That is a very simple structure, but time and time again, one-piece bats have proven that they can deliver performance at the dish. Also, Both bats will feature a slightly barrel-loaded feel. StringKing is very coy about how they describe the swing weights of their bats, but from their description, we believe that it is to be inferred that a bit of heft will be felt on the barrel.
Now for the differences between the two bats. From what can be gleaned at StringKing's site, it appears that some extra research & development will go into creating this Metal Pro bat. They have commented that "premium materials" and "precise manufacturing" will be used during the creation process. In addition, this bat has the largest-USA-allowed 2-5/8 inch barrel diameter. Meanwhile, the regular Metal only has a 2-1/2 inch diameter.
