SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult
My son is 15 and loves this bat, it's very durable
I have this bat for the summer college showcase tournaments that are wood bat only
Pros: Unbelievable bat. Excellent wood. SSK isn't main-stream for a reason, because they actually have quality. There's a reason Robinson Cano swings this. Buy it!
Cons: ummm....ya nothing.
Pros: Excellent bat. I got a 32.5 because i was afraid it was too heavy but it was PERFECT. Fast shipping too !
Cons: NOTHING WRONG.
Pros: Ball jumps off bat! Solid and good weight! Would keep buying this model!
Cons: Broke 1 already! But thats my fault for swinging at a bad pitch!
Pros: Amazing bat. It has awesome pop and a huge barrel. It also has a thin handle which I love.
Cons: It's a little top heavy but what big barrel bat isn't?
Pros: this bat has mad pop!!!!looking to get another one just to have on deck incase this one i have breaks by far the best wood bat ive had
Pros: I like the tapered handle
Cons: A little top heavy and I expected more pop in the barrel
Pros: Big barrel and solid pop
Cons: very thin handle up into the start of the barrel. the bat broke in about the 5th game i used it. very disappointed
Pros: Great size and feel, felt great in my hands, solid bat thick grains on the one I had, very durable lasted a few solid months of baseball. Only broke cause i swung at a high inside pitch went off the handle. Great bat. I did not have the Robinson Cano Version I had the white verion in stead of white to black.
Cons: Handle a little small for my tastes.
Pros: Slightly end loaded, which is nice for power hitters. Traditional knob helps hold on. I've hit with this bat in over 80 at bats and it hasn't broken yet. The durability is amazing for a wood bat. I would highly recommend this bat to power hitters.
Cons: This bat is not for players just beginning to use wood bats. Only for experienced wooden bat users.
Pros: My son is 15 and loves this bat, it's very durable.
Pros: well balanced bat great pop very durable and looks very nice
Pros: great bat, feels great when you hit it, amazing in the cold weather, i have never got a stinger in the cold weather, used it for 5 months finally broke, definitely getting another one
Cons: never had a problem with the bat.
Pros: I am a power hitter and and i love bats that is a little top heavy. i had this bat for a good two weeks and had the perfect feel and pop when I took BP
Pros: This bat has great pop and great feel. The ball flys off the bat.
Pros: great pop and good feel off the bat. looks slick and professional.
Cons: had it for a week using it everyday in high school games, then one game it just broke, the ball hit the barrel of the bat and the barrel nearly hit the third baseman. we caught it on video and I did in fact hit it on the sweet spot. this was probably a manufacturing malfunction.
Pros: Great looking bat with tons of pop, and great for those who love end heavy bats.
Cons: To fragile but other than that perfect
Pros: Big sweet spot. I got this for my 21year old who plays college ball. He uses it in his summer wood bat league and loves it. He said it is light and even if he doesn't square it up perfect, the ball jumps off the bat
Pros: Very good pop on my first at bat with it. Nice single and liked it during BP too.
Cons: Second at bat, first game of season - broke it on an inside pitch. half the bat flew close to the mound. Replacement is on the way, we'll see how I do with that one.
Pros: I ordered nyself a 33.5 and it has amazing weight and balance that is distrubted throughout the bat i absolutly love it.
Cons: the bat will eventually break
Pros: Felt great swinging the bat
Cons: I had the bat for 3 days and it broke in my second game with it. I loved the bat but it broke on the first ball I hit off the end of it.
Pros: really good feel and sick paint job, love the gloss.
Cons: broke within 80 swings. hit it off the end and snapped. lost my best friend
Pros: this review is not about the bat because ive already put one in for this bat. but its about this company, good god dont shop anywhere els. i wont go into detail about my awesome experience but take it from me, these people will take care of you because they really care.
Pros: I have this bat for the summer college showcase tournaments that are wood bat only. Ive been jammed on 82-86 mph pitching without this bat snapping. Not only that but this bat has a decent sized sweetspot and good trampoline feel for a wood bat. Has very minor taper and a slight end load. Many kids i play with swing Maruccis and $200 Chandlers and not only has this outlasted them and out performed them, it is significantly cheaper.
Cons: Gave finish 4 stars b/c the handle portion of the finish is glossed over so i had to sand it off but thats just personal preference and has to be done to most wood bats.
Pros: the bat has great pop and i love it, 8 couldnt ask for better wood
Cons: nothing at all

I am looking for a balanced wood bat. Does this bat have a balanced weight distribution?
The SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult features a slightly end loaded swing weight. It is not a balanced bat. I recommend taking a look at the SSK Professional Edge Javier Baez Maple Wood Baseball Bat: JB9 which will feature a balanced weight distribution.
I'm 18 years old, 5'9'' and about 200 pounds. What bat and size bat do you recommend? I love the feel of a 29/32 traditional handle.
The SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult Would be a great choice if you like the 29/32 inch handle. Based on your height and weight, we would recommend a 33'' bat.
How is this different from Louisville Slugger Prime C271?
The Robinson Cano model will have a slightly larger barrel (2.53" vs 2.5") than the C271, as well a traditional knob with the Cano vs a medium flared knob on the C271.
I am 5'7", 131 pounds and bat cleanup. Would you recommend this bat, the Old Hickory MT27, Marucci JB19 or a Chandler CC13A or something different? Also, what length would you recommend?
Based on your height and weight, we would recommend getting a 31 or 32 inch bat. With wood bats, there are many different handle sizes, differences in how the bat is tapered and knob construction. This makes picking a wood bat much more of a "feel" than anything else. With that said, the Marucci JB19 is a very popular model because of the balanced swing weight deign and the 15/16 inch handle diameter. The Old Hickory MT27 will have more of an end-loaded design as will the SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult.
How will this bat compare to the Old Hickory Mike Trout MT27M Adult bat?
This SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult) will feature a slight end-load on it due to its long barrel length. Since the MT27M features those same qualities, I would compare the bats very similarly.

I am 16 years old and I am 6 foot 1. What is best for my age? Also, what is the difference between a 271 turn and I13 turn models?
Rather than one bat being the best for your age and size, the preference on wood bats like the SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC22 Black/Natural/Gold) would be based more on the feel of the bat that you like. That would depend on if you like a balanced or end-loaded model, handle shape, barrel length, etc. The I-13 features very similar dimensions to the 271. The big difference is that the taper of the bat is more extreme, so it will have more of an end loaded swing feel than the 271 turn. The I-13 is a popular choice among power hitters who are looking for more mass in the barrel.
Which bat does Robinson Cano actually use in games? This SSK or the Sam bat?
Robinson Cano has switched around between the SSK Robinson Cano Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC24 Natural/Black Adult) and the Sam Bat.
Does BWP bats still make SSK bats?
SSK Baseball is a Japanese owned company and there is definitely a possibility that SSK may contract out to bat companies in America so that they can have some production sites in the US. I would suggest giving BWP a call at (814) 849-0089 or send them an email at the bottom right corner of their homepage at www.bwpbats.com. They will definitely be able to help out with giving you a more complete answer!

Where do I face the label if there is no ink dot?
With wood bats, we always recommend facing the label on the bat up or down when swinging. You will want to make contact with the ball on an area of the bat with no label on it. The ink dot is there just to prove the quality of the wood, so it would not affect the direction you face the bat.
