Yes it is. It is BBCOR certified and legal for High School play no matter what state you are in

Hi I see that you said this bat is legal for high school use in 2012 baseball season, but on the list of approved bats on CIF official website, the only fuse approved it BT0602, and this is BT0652, could you find a site where it says this is legal? Thanks

The BT0652 is 100%, without a doubt, BBCOR certified and legal for High School play. The "BT0602" code you see is the general code for all the Fuse Series bats. I can guarantee you that your bat is legal.

How does this bat compare to the Nike MC2 in performance?

The MC2 will be a little stiffer than the Aero Fuse. The MC2 may perform better for a player who has good swing speed and likes a stiff bat. The Fuse may perform better for a player who may not hit for a whole lot of power and likes a little more flex in their bat.

Thank you for your question. A good resource on our website is our Bat Coach that helps with sizing bats for all ages. For a 5'8" adult, our Bat Coach recommends a 32 inch bat. Both are great bats for a contact hitter. The S2 has a slightly lighter swing weight. Either one is a great choice though.

The 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR is going to be very similar to the 2012 model. The balance and swing weight are going to be the same. The difference between the two is going to be an upgrade in materials in the 2013 model.

The 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR: BT0652 and the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT are both balanced bats. All three bats are going to have very similar pop. The Easton Omen BBCOR: BNC2 is not going to be as balanced, and it is the only bat of the tree that has a composite barrel.

Both are two piece hybrid bats that will be very balanced. The Aero will offer a little more flex. The MC2 is two piece, but will have a stiffer design.

We currently have only the 34 in. sizes available in the 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR. Our website lists all sizes and options that we have in stock. It looks like we will be getting more sizes in a couple of weeks.

It's the only size I can find anywhere, even the Nike website. Is this bat too big/heavy for a (soon to be) 14 year old 5'8, 120 lbs. but a physically very strong player ? Thanks !

No, Nike does make the 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR: BT0652 in smaller sizes, but we are currently out of stock in those sizes. The 34" is going to be too big for player of his size. I would recommend a 31" or 32" bat for him.

The 2013 Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR: BT0652 Adult bat will be a two-piece hybrid design. It will have Zr91 alloy barrel and a composite handle. It will be very balanced in swing weight. The 2013 RIP-IT Prototype BBCOR AIR: B1303A Adult bat will be an all one-piece alloy design. This bat will use AIR Technology for a lighter swing weight and better performance. The Rifle barrel on this bat will provide 7.2% better weight distribution and accelerated bat speed. The Prototype Air will come with a 30 Day "Love it or Return it" program from RIP-IT. Both bats will come in -3 BBCOR sizing and barrel diameters of 2 5/8".

The Nike Aero Fuse BBCOR Baseball Bat: BT0652 is no longer produce by Nike and it seems that Nike has discontinued production of all bats. As to why they did this, that would be a better question to ask of Nike. Their number is 800.344.6453.
