Miken MV-1 13" Maxload Dual Stamp 240 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPMVW
If your league is requiring an alloy barreled slow pitch bat to compete, then you should definitely consider using this Miken MV-1!
Bat Benefits
This bat is a true swiss army knife! It can do it all and be used in pretty much every single league!
First off, it is going to be made in a two-piece and all-alloy design. Since the barrel of the bat will be made of alloy, it will be very attractive for hitters playing within a league the requires the use of alloy barreled bats. As well, the barrel is going to be characterized as "multi-walled".
Next, the bat is going to be called a "dual stamp" bat as it will feature both the USA Softball (ASA) and USSSA (New NTS Tested | 240 Compression Stamp) slow pitch stamps. USA Softball and USSSA are the two largest governing bodies of slow pitch softball in the United States. By having these two stamps, the bats should be permitted for use in just about any league out there. As well, the bat will also feature the NSA & ISA stamps.
Lastly, the bat will have Miken's Maxload feel which is going to make it slightly barrel loaded. Because of that, it will be most attractive to power hitters. However, since alloy-barreled bats are becoming scarce, we do think it would work for a contact hitter who was in need of an alloy-barreled slow pitch bat.
Warranty
A slow pitch bat brand can only become a front runner within the softball market if they establish that they will care for their customers. Miken confirms that they value the players that swing this bat as they extend a twelve (12) month warranty period on it. If you get this bat from JustBats and notice that something is structurally wrong with it one (1) year from the purchase date, please let our JustBats Bat Experts know. They will get you the information needed to begin the warranty replacement process with Miken.
Also, be sure to know that this Miken slow pitch bat will come with a serial sticker on it. When you receive this bat, the first thing you should do is save the serial sticker. Go ahead and print off a copy of your receipt and tape the sticker right on the receipt. Then store the receipt (with the sticker) in a safe place. If your bat breaks during that first year of owning it, you will need to include the sticker with the bat when it is sent to Miken for a replacement. If you do not send the sticker with the bat, Miken will not get you a warranty replacement.
