Bat Benefits
When Kyle Pearson is competing at the highest level, he'll typically be using a USSSA certified slow pitch bat. However, Miken doesn't limit the fun of swinging his Freak 23 (aka the KP23) to just players in USSSA leagues. This specific model will be made with the USA Softball (ASA) stamp and will be ready to crush those 52 COR/300 Compression softballs that are typically used in USA Softball leagues!
For those who are familiar with past versions of the Freak 23, you won't be surprised to find out that it will once again feature a two-piece and all-composite design. Also, you'll be stoked to know that it will feature the Tetra-Core technology that features a high-performance outer tube that will allow the softball to spring off the bat. As well, it will have an inner tube that will govern that outer tuber and make sure that the bat does not exceed the performance allowed under USA Softball rules.
As a little update to this year's model, Miken has also added their A1 Knob. The A1 Knob is a little smaller than a traditional knob and it allows the batter to let their bottom finger[s] lay over the knob with relative ease. When a batter holds the bat in this manner, it usually allows them to get a little leverage when taking a swing!
Warranty
A slow pitch bat brand can only become a front runner within the softball market if they establish that they will care for their customers. Miken confirms that they value the players that swing this bat as they extend a twelve (12) month warranty period on it. If you get this bat from JustBats and notice that something is structurally wrong with it one (1) year from the purchase date, please let our JustBats Bat Experts know. They will get you the information needed to begin the warranty replacement process with Miken.
Also, be sure to know that this Miken slow pitch bat will come with a serial sticker on it. When you receive this bat, the first thing you should do is save the serial sticker. Go ahead and print off a copy of your receipt and tape the sticker right on the receipt. Then store the receipt (with the sticker) in a safe place. If your bat breaks during that first year of owning it, you will need to include the sticker with the bat when it is sent to Miken for a replacement. If you do not send the sticker with the bat, Miken will not get you a warranty replacement.

Pros: Smaller nob then my other bats its pop was very good still breaking in bat only hit once off my tee but did hit the ball 9 times over 200 ft fence should get hotter with more use very happy with bat.
Cons: Was not as hot as my other Kyle bats during first use but that may come with more at bats as the bat breaks in going forward overall very good bat.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
