Description
Miken Freak 23 Kyle Pearson 12" Maxload USA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MKP21A
Kyle Pearson's signature model for ASA (USA Softball) is a sure-fire selection that players have been picking up for a number of seasons.
Bat Benefits
This bat features some of the tried-and-true technologies that put Miken on the map in the slow pitch world! It will feature the 100 Comp Composite Material that first made Miken a household name for slow pitch players. In addition, it has Tetra Core technology that allows an inner core and outer core of the bat to work in unison so that the bat has optimal compression, barrel response, sweet spot and durability. Closing out the technologies is the Flex 2 Power that ensures the flex during the swing (and at contact with the ball) is correct for the barrel load of the bat. This will help hitters achieve really fast swing speeds!
Be sure to note that this bat will feature a 12" length of barrel and a 1/2 ounce end load. We recommend it for power hitters, but if you are a player that has swung balanced bats in the past and wants to try and dabble in a bat with a bit of an end load, step up and try this Freak 23!
Warranty
Miken does indeed extend a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you are swinging the bat and notice a structural defect or decreased performance, be sure and know that there will be the chance to get a warranty replacement bat. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR SERIAL STICKER. IT CAME WITH THE BAT WHEN YOU FIRST RECEIVED IT. MIKEN WON’T ACCEPT THE BAT FOR A REPLACEMENT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE STICKER.
After you locate the Serial Sticker, please reach out to the Bat Experts at JustBats. The Bat Experts understand the warranty processes for bats and will make sure that you have the information needed to contact Miken and get the bat sent to them for a replacement.
Reviews
Average Ratings Based on 6 Customer Reviews
Pros: Hot out of the wrapper.
Cons: Other players want to use my bat.
Pros: Good pop
Cons: Broke after about 50 swing
Pros: 97 mph exit velocity out of 52 300 Dudley Hyperwutevers. Good end load feel that compliments bat lag technique.
Cons: Judging by other reviewers complaining about it breaking, I am assuming they are hitting 44 COR 375s. News flash, from 8 years ago. "Newer" ASA and USA bats will break on high compression balls. I swing 75 to 85 mph. I have put 150 swings on this bat with average 92 mph exit velocities with no breakage.
Pros: Long Break In
Cons: Nice weight and feel to Bat
Pros: Great bat for about 30 days
Cons: I have broken four of these all in less than a month
Pros: I see nothing wrong with this bat I have 2 of them the 1 I use I’ve USED I hit any compression softball with it in any type of weather probably have close to 500 swings on it no signs of breaking
Cons: Nothing

About the Brand
During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
