Cracked it in 4 days Sam Fitzpatrick parent
Pros: Seemed to have good pop, nice balance.
Cons: Broke it in 4 days. My son is 11yrs old, only weighs 80 lbs. He is not a power hitter. The first 100 balls he hit were light check swings and he made sure to rotate the bat to break it in. The next day he hit another bucket of balls with a 50% swing just doing soft toss, again not swinging hard. Today he took 10 "regular" swings and broke it.
Great Bat! Has HUGE POP! Tyler player
Pros: Great bat with a massive sweet spot. I haven't had any issues with durability. My entire team has been hittin bombs!
Cons: none
awesome bat mike player
Pros: i hit 5 bombs in batting practice big pop huge sweet spot
Cons: none
Not bad Byron parent
Pros: It has a good feel, but the handle is a little larger than other bats we have used.
Cons: Not quite the pop that I expected, but better than average.
My son loves this bat ZD parent
Pros: *Good pop *big sweet spot *added some distance to my son's hits *nice even weight for easy swing
Cons: *haven't had any problems yet
Okay bat Shea M. player
Pros: Great pop and feels very balanced.
Cons: These bats crack really easy i had my bat for only two months and then it cracked and i had to send it back. Only a couple months later it cracked again. Same thing happened another one of my teammates he also had both of his bat's crack
Great Bat!! Emare's Mom his #1 Fan parent
Pros: Great price for an awesome bat! My son tried this bat ince feel in love, next day i eas online getting it for his birthday. Had his teammates help break it in, and now 3 other kids have ordered this bat. Great pop, nice sweet spot!
Cons: Nothing! Rated durability low only bc we've only had it about 2 weeks.

Cons: Absolutely none
Marucci Hex Composite MSBYC1410 Chris coach
Pros: My son has been using Marucci bats for 5 years now and this by far has the best pop off the barrel. He likes the well balanced bats over end loaded. He's been so successful with Marucci bats that half the team is using them.
Cons: My son is 12 and has broken 2 bats in less than 5 months. First bat 30/20 2 3/4 cracked within 3 weeks, sent back to Marucci. Replaced with 31/21 2 5/8, he's had this bat for just over 3 months and has 2 cracks that are an issue. It's a good bat with amazing pop and feel but the Durability is poor.

Pros: My 12 year old has been using Marucci bats for the past 4 seasons. He likes the way the bats feel and how balanced the bats are. Right out of the box the Hex Composite was great, the ball flew off the bat. Because he was having success with the bat half the team purchased it. But the Hex Composite bat has a durability issue. He has cracked 3 bats in less than 5 months and now onto #4 after a weeks use.
Cons: The Hex composite bat has a durability issue, if your son is a power hitter be aware you might be replacing this bat several times. I had to purchase a new bat for the last tournament of the season and with the first hit it cracked. By the time we finished the week long tournament the bat had 3 cracks.
Dinger Dinger Chicken Dinner Hulk Hogan's Body Guarad parent
Pros: The bat swings extremely balanced, and doesn't feel heavy for a drop 10. The pop off the bat after a normal break-process of a couple hundred hits. I was worried the 2 5/8" barrel would be a disadvantage VS a 2 3/4" but the more balanced nature of this bat more than makes up for the slight difference in barrel thickness. Highly recommended!
Cons: None so far, we'll see how it holds up over time.
Phenomenal Bat Jay Perrier parent
Pros: Ball absolutely flies off this bat Very little vibration Balanced Huge Sweet Spot One piece composite
Cons: I only bought one of them
great bat NDM parent
Pros: My son has been using this bat for a few weeks now. He is still breaking it in. Seems like a lot of pop. Son loves it. The grip is awesome also.
Cons: None yet.
Great Bat Carroll parent
Pros: Nice POP and feel. Good value
Cons: none
Titans24 Ronnie Gray coach
Pros: Great swing balance Grip is perfect. No need for Lizard Skin wrap! Bigger sweet spot creates fewer mis-hits Instant pop right out of the box
Cons: None yet
Awesome bat Charles Bingham player
Pros: This bat looks amazing in person. I started hitting with it and my hitting improved a lot. This bat is light, a huge sweet spot, nice grip, it has a ton of pop. This bat also is very durable. I highly recommend this bat. When you are hitting with it makes an amazing sound. It also doesn't sting your hands at all. You need to get this bat if you want to start hitting bombs.
Cons: It does get pretty dirty because it is a black bat.
Great pop...until it eventually cracks. John N. parent
Pros: It definitely has some pop. My son hit this further than any other bat.
Cons: It took about 5 games and a few lessons to crack it. I wish I had looked at some of the other reviews before buying. A bat like this shouldn't be so fragile, regardless if it's at a great price or not.
My son loves it! Eric parent
Pros: Very balanced, light swing weight. Still has great pop off the bat though. Good sized barrel and sweet spot. He's been using it in practice for a couple of months now, and it's holding up well.
Cons: None so far.
Nice bat but not very durable Jeff parent
Pros: Great pop. Solid feel and quick to the ball.
Cons: After less than 3 months of use (BP and 3 tournament) the outer layer cracked near the end. Marucci will be replacement.
marucci ben player
Pros: ih has a nice grip
Cons: none
First bat I've felt compelled to write a review... Scott parent
Pros: This bat started performing well on the first hit. My 11 y/o was ecstatic after the first practice session. We have always been a fan of Combats, but one of the kids on my son's 12U USSSA team allowed him to use his Marucci before we bought this bat. We wanted the Cat 7, but I was hesitant to spend the money since I wasn't sure about switching brands. I think the Cat 7 will be in our quiver next season.
Cons: Not sure about the durability since we've only had it for one day, but all other areas are five stars.
Good Bat, Great Customer Service RS coach
Pros: Great Pop and feel, I have several 10 year olds that love this bat. Very easy on the hands and has a great look. One of the best warranties on the market, if the bat fails, Marucci will make it right!!
Cons: Bats are bad about cracking with extensive use, but they will send you a new one within a week.
