Cons: None
LeftCoast Craig Wheat coach
Pros: The Marucci Black has great balance, even with a slight end load. Retains a lot of power and bat speed which allows you to use it on faster pitchers while still getting nice distance. 8 year old, 70 lbs. with a 29" 21 oz. had no trouble at all getting this bat around. Was hitting 180'+ with no problem. Can't say enough about how much better the grip is on this bat than most other bats. Great feel with an enlarged area down by the cap that gives you a solid grip.
Cons: The paint chips that everyone complains about are real, but really not a big deal unless you're entering your bat into a beauty contest (which it may still win due to how cool it looks). I do wish the barrel was a little longer as it doesn't seem to leave much room for error. This could be because of the shorter length we chose to keep the weight down. The 30" and 31" should have larger sweet spots if the weight isn't an issue.

Pros: Awesome bat has a lot of pop
Cons: Terrible grip have to spit on my batting gloves regularly

joey6103
Pros: Great pop, huge barrel.
Cons: None, BROKE after 50 cuts. The sound is a ping I would like a little more pong or so.
Proud Pop
Pros: Bought the combo pack with the Veangence. The DeMarini is collecting dust after my 12 year old blasted one 260' in a game a week ago clearing the 245' 8" (little green monster) fence with ease. That ping was the beautiful sound ever! Bought the combo pack as an experiment to determine whether to buy the Black 2 or the Voodoo.....he just wants another Black before it gets discontinued!
Cons: The finish gets ruined quickly, but it doesn't hamper its ability to crush the ball!
Ethan V.
Pros: Bat looks great, and has good pop right out of the box. However, the end cap of this particular bat broke in its first tourney. I sent back to Marucci per JustBats instruction and I'm awaiting new bat.
Cons: BROKE.
Trey's Dad....
Pros: My son is 11 and uses this bat for his travel team. He also plays Jr High baseball with a BBCOR -3, Has hit this bat for the past three months once a week at hitting lessons, weekly practices and played his first tourney this last weekend... THIS BAT HAS POP... He crushed the ball all weekend... have not seen the paint chips as reported in other reviews and he has hit it a lot in the last three months we have owned this bat. The bat won't make your kid a hitter, but the ball jumps off the bat on contact and the balance is great. He loves this bat...
Cons: None that I've seen yet...
Jas
Pros: Love this bat, no stings at all i recommend to all kids( any age). so balanced. I got 1 triple 2 Doubles and 1 single in one game and this bat has pop
Cons: NONE!!!!
Crimson
Pros: This is a great bat. My son is 10 and he is swinging the 29/21 but feels like 19 oz. Barely broken in and every hit is going into the outfeild. (this is the only bat he cleans every night...)
Cons: if you have a good disiplined swing with your hands in, there is plenty of barrel to get contact.

Pros: Tons of pop im 12 and have hit 3 out of a 300 love the balance and sound. My dad and I have hit 3 rounds of bp love this bat
Cons: None
Mike3201
Pros: Got this bat for my eleven year old at Christmas. Works great. The pop stays with the bat and hasn't gone yet. He is hitting well and says when the ball connects with the bat it feels nice and if you get it on the sweet spot you can barely feel it. Home runs aren't too hard either. He plays on a 225 ft fence and it doesn't look like he has a problem hitting them over. 13 home runs can't lie.
Cons: Non3
Justin's dad/coach
Pros: Ball jumps off the bat right out of the plastic. Very happy I decided to pick this bat. great price...great bat. my son is 9 and about 75-80 lbs. and has no trouble getting the 30/22 around. Great weight distribution on the bat. Thank you JustBats.
Cons: None-as for the paint other customers are saying is coming off, it is a bat being hit by a ball and then hitting the dirt and rolling so it is normal wear and tear on a bat. Nothing unusual for a bat and my son has been using in tournament play all the time and the bat is still in great shape.
Hittman
Pros: Very well balanced design that makes it feel like an 18 oz bat rather than a 20. Prettty good pop right out of the wrapper.
Cons: Prodigy has more pop. Barrel is a little short.
B.Moore
Pros: Evenly Balanced, Loads of pop out the wrapper. Nice transition form drop -10 before -5 is mandated for my 9 year old.
Cons: The drop -8 is a bit heavy, but balanced so still able to keep swing mechanics. Hate to see a beautiful bat scuffed, but that's what it is for.
mb72
Pros: NONE
Cons: THIS BAT IS HORRIBLE IT HAS ZERO POP AND THE PAINT CHIPPS A TON. NOT WORTH 250 DOLLARS
rockey
Pros: this is a good bat
Cons: use this bat
JK
Pros: This bat is really good. It has an even swing weight and feels a lot lighter than it says. I have 32/24 and it has monster pop. I've used it for about seven games and quite a few times the ball goes over their heads, even after they back up
Cons: One con, the bat gets a lot of ball marks, but it still has the performance over time
billyrnt
Pros: This bat i great. Its very balanced and increased my swing speed. When i got this i went from batting .159 to .437. I would recommend this bat to anyone whos willing to spend the money for a good quality bat. It has really good pop. You wont regret getting it.

Nevada Wildcat
Pros: Great pop, look hot when it's brand new.
Cons: Paint chips after a few rounds of BP and looks not so nice.
Mrclutch16
Pros: Good balance. Great pop.
Cons: Paint chipping on second use. Looks like it's 2 years old. Would not recommennd for appearance reasons.
Kids baseball player-11yr old 4 foot 6
Pros: No pros please read: Dont judge a bat by its looks. I got this bat for Christmas. Last yr, i swung a worth prodigy. I would hit it at least 180 ft and switched to the marucci and i can only hit it about 150 feet. I just bought another prodigy and its so much better than this. My friends have vertexs and exogrids and prodigys. All of those r better than this. You get jammed alot and it stings your hands. Ive not adjusted my swing at all and im still getting jammed. Its a very expensive bat and dont reccomend this bat.
Cons: What i just said in the pros; i have no pros. Except its a good looking bat.
Ja
Pros: it has alot of pop
Cons: It only comes in -8 and -5
dalee

Pros: Great balance, great looking, swings great.
Cons: knob broke 2 weeks after purchase...in process with Marucci now. Taking longer than it should...Customer service isn't the best...will update and revise rating if they step it up and get me my son's bat back!
Buck
Pros: Great looks, great feel and overall an amazing bat....Got one for my 12 U son's travel ball this Spring and in the first game he hit a bomb over straight center field..... Typically with the Eastons and Rawlings he was a doubles hitter.....Can't wait for this season as the rules have just changed.....
Cons: None

Ranger Fan
Pros: Bought the -5 for my 13 year old who is playing up this spring to 14U AAA. Bat has great balance, large sweet spot, no sting with balls hit off the end...... and it looks cool. The bat is worth the price, go but it.
Cons: NONE
yeahh
Pros: Was a little hesitant to try something new. So far I'm very glad we gave this bat a shot. Its very nicely balanced. My son moved up from a 29/19 to a 30/22, he's about 56" tall and weights 75lbs. I was a little concerned about the weight but he is having no trouble at all getting the bat through the zone. He says it has a really good feel when you hit the ball. The grip is nice and sticky which is great for him because he does not like to wear gloves. It seems to have plenty of pop in the BP sessions we've had so far. Other than that its a great looking bat. The sound of the ball coming off it is really nice too..its kind of in between your typical "ping" and "crack" sound..if that even makes sense. Really happy with this purchase.
Cons: None yet...
G5Dad
Pros: Great out of the box! Just moved up from a -10 to a -8 and the transition was smooth. Bat seems to swing lighter than others. Also the solid black looks great doing it.
Cons: None yet.
Coach Pops
Pros: This site had this bat first, even 2 weeks before Marucci. Great distance when hit correctly, endcap is professional like the CU26, buy it do not hesitate. 9 year old son loves it.
Cons: Ball marks, but that means you are hitting well, plus they wipe off.
