Description
The Marucci Bat Company™ takes pride in turning top quality wooden baseball bats in the same tradition and precise technique of the earliest bat companies. Every Marucci Bat™ is cut, calibrated, balanced, buffed and lacquered by hand. The Marucci Bat Company™ uses top grade Maple billets cut from selected, naturally grown trees in Pennsylvania forests. This selection process insures the highest possible grade of wood for each bat. The Marucci Bat Company™ bats are 100 percent handmade or turned in small batches from an original design, then finished and detailed by hand. Each model is made to exacting specifications maximizing balance and ease of handling. The Marucci Bat Company™ uses an Ultra Penetrating Stain that provides the best possible finish for your next Marucci Bat. Most impressive is the Bone Rubbing technique that The Marucci Bat Company™ uses. `Boning` bats began in the earliest days of baseball with players like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. These Hall-of-Famers would spend hours in their dugouts rubbing their bats with old cow femur bones. Bone Rubbing closes the wood`s pores, compressing it and making it harder. Marucci uses the same technique on their bats, rubbing before the finish is applied to seal and harden the wood. Just another example of how Marucci takes the same pride in their bats as our baseball heroes once did. Experience the excellence of a Marucci Bat today with the AP5BN Adult. Free Shipping! best wood bat!!! scott parent
Pros: light swinging and hits the ball far. best wood bat out there. my son loves this bat. use almost every day and still going strong.
Cons: no cons
great bat Mike in NC player
Pros: just used this for the first time. seings light and fast, perfect feel and balance. really great pop, feels like I am using an aluminum bat.
Cons: none
You get what you pay for. Mike player
Pros: I think most people tend to blame their bat for their own shortcomings. Had a few ball get in on me and it didn't break. Great balance, great pop, great sound, almost an ash sound. If you can get one with back spin off the inside part of the sweet spot it is going to go a LONG way.
Cons: Slick finish. Playing in Texas (HOT and dry) it can be a challenge to find the right grip. Tried various things, what i've found words best is no tape and use the batting gloves with the glossy finish on the inside. If you go cheap on batting gloves, pine tar is a must and you will just end up replacing the batting gloves quicker. Price, the only thing keeping me from buying another right now is the price. But, you can bet when it breaks I'll likely replace it with another AP5.
AP5 plays great Andy Musson 9 player
Pros: This is my second AP5, I had the youth model when I was younger. Both have played very well. I have put over 1000's of swings in games/practice/cages. My youth only ever broke when a friend used it, I don't let anyone use my new one! Marucci bats are the best, reason why they are number 1 in the MLB!
Cons: None
Great bat dingerbats player
Pros: love the bat great bat wasnt a waiste of money
Cons:
AP5 Marucci Wood Bat Nate L player
Pros: Great pop with a comfortable handle good bat for hitting and has a great design at the end of the barrel and it worth the money
Cons: None
Marucci is awesome! larry horwitz player
Pros: excellent whip, sturdy wood. im a smaller guy (5'7", 190 lbs) not a huge power hitter. I swear this bat has more pop than most bbcors ive used. i just today hit one over the foul pole, which is 326' at our home field. And ive been jammed, totally thought it was gonna break, did no such thing. you guys need to look at which way the grain is going before you swing wood, and always try to square it up. Great bat! Great company!!
Cons: one day it will wear out, de laminate, or break.
Great Bat John Doe player
Pros: • Very Balanced • Lite • Highest Quality would bat aside from Chandler (they are $199.99) • I love would bats
Cons: well not really a con, but I bought one and broke it the first game, hit it right on the barrel so it was weird, I then bought another one and have had it for 7 months and it still has not broke!
best dylan player
Pros: the best wood bat on the market of course its going to brake its wood but the bat has so much pop
Cons: bone
great brad player
Pros: jumps off bat well for wood. this bat is unbelievably balanced. more balanced than my metal bat. barrel is good sized. good contact makes an awesome sound. the thing that sets this bat apart from the others is the feel. it feels perfect in my hands.
Cons: gloss comes of easily
Great Wood Bat Lightning22 player
Pros: I used it for most of my summer AAU season this year and I had several great shots with it. Sadly it recently broke while swinging at an inside pitch but it lasted atleast 25 gamesor so.
Cons: nothing
ap5 cole tillotson player
Pros: This bat has some pop. Very hard to break.
Cons: Really really top heavy almost hard to swing. BUt other than that nice bat.
learn how to hit wood. Sidney poore player
Pros: Tremendous pop balanced swing weight hit it on the barrel and it will go just buy the thing add some pine tar to add the MLB awesomeness
Cons: bat shouldn't be used if your inexperienced at hitting. thin handle but its albert pujols. he aint a contact hitter anymore. DONT SWING AT INSIDE PITCHES!!! LOL
AP5 Shawn parent
Pros: there is no pros
Cons: Had two of them and both broke the first game I used them and they don't back them at al so don't buy this one at all
great bat haaan925 player
Pros: bat has plenty of pop nice solid feel best looking bat you can buy
Cons: hit one of the end, bat broke in half. but hey, wood breaks.
Great Bat Team Marucci player
Pros: Sweet Finish and great pop and has not broken
Cons: none it is all around great bat
greatest wood bat ever Tanner player
Pros: amazing bat, just got it today, but the pop is on point. went out to the field and smashed 3 buckets of balls.
Cons: the finish makes it a little slippery, but pine tar will fix that.
Awesome Bat Alex Jepsen player
Pros: Everything is perfect and nothing needs to be changed. I always thought that since I was a power hitter I needed a heavier bat turns out I was wrong this bat is perfect for every type of hitter.
Cons: That I didn't get it sooner.
Awesome bat! Jaret StR player
Pros: Best pop of any bat I've used so far.
Cons: Cost.

mr j ball parent

Awesome bat! Kyler player
Pros: Great balance. Looks good, feels good.
Cons: None.
nick d
Pros: good pop, light weight and good balance.
Cons: it broke after 20 hits
John
Pros: I'm a contact hitter, but this bat is perfect. The colors are nice and the pop is great. Since it is end loaded it gives extra distance to your shots.
Cons: Expensive but worth it
JohnV
Pros: Great balance and lots of pop. Do not swing at inside pitches and the bat should last.
Cons: As far as I know, no Marucci maple sold "retail" qualifies as MLB approved. MLB requires an ink dot test for grain straightness and the label must be 90 degrees to the face wood grain of the bat. Retail Marucci maples have the label ON the face wood grain.
D's Dad
Pros: My 13 year old son loves the bat. Great pop, solid feel on contact.
Cons: A little pricey for wood.
Bats
Pros: Very solid hitting bat
Cons: None
coacher
Pros: Good bat, nicely balanced, feels and hits well.
Cons: These bats break very easy. I have used much cheaper bats and have hit the ball on the bad part and they were ok first hit off the bad part of this bat and bye-bye.
Bobcat14
Pros: Only pure wood bat I will swing.
Cons: Price is higher then most wood bats.
big hitter
Pros: I used the bat for petty much the full year and it is great. Nice pop, nice balance durable, and mine didn't break until recently.
Cons: Broke but it was my friends fault. Don't let people swing it.
Jesse
Pros: Looks good, and feels good.
Cons: Broke in my second game. My first Marucci and probably my last.
corbats
Pros: Why does everyone complain about the bats breaking? The only issue I see when reading this is you are all breaking them when you hit one off the hands. Stop swinging at the bad pitches.
Cons:
Mad Dog
Pros: Nice look. Solid bat.
Cons: none
Almadango
Pros: It's an awesome bat with great balance and great pop.
Cons: None.
Ant

Cons:
knight02
Pros: Amazing bat, great pop and has solid wood.
Cons: This bat is heavier than other marucci's i have swung.
Anonymous
Pros:
Cons: Bat broke first at bat very expensive at bat $119 for one swing
Jaysr4
Pros: Have 4 bats. 2 for BP and 2 for Games. The price constitutes "Game Bat". To use in BP is dumb. Hits hard and has Solid pop, Looks great.
Cons: Priced a little high. Why is it $10 more than the same bat in black? Does it require additional boning or sumzing ;P
jake r hustlers 16
