Pros: Good pop Looks great Love louisville
Cons: it has some scratches in it Little too heavy
Pros: Traded in my 919 for this and so far, so good. Has good amount of pop and probably a bit more than last years model! Can’t wait to use this in game.
Cons: Definitely needs to be broken in, in order to have pop. Not hot out of the wrapper, needs a good amount of swings to be fully broken in.
Pros: Just got the bat a week ago. A nice bat with a good overall feel to it. I like how there is no sting when you hit the ball even if you get jammed. Balls really just seem to fly off this bat. Love the two-piece design too.
Cons: It's a composite bat, so break it in first. Take some swings on the tee and do soft toss before you start hitting bombs.
Pros: The bats feels really nice. It seems be be end loaded slightly but still maintains a general balanced swing feel. I have taken a bit of swings and the bat still sounds like wood, until I break it in and even now it has good amount of pop.
Cons: The sound could be a bit higher pitched like the meta.
Pros: Love the feel of this bat. I swung Louisville Sluggers until 12u then I switched to Marucci. When I got this bat I felt much more comfortable with this bat than a Cat8 or Cat7.
Cons: None
Pros: Great feel. End loaded and easy to swing.
Cons: Hits terrible out of the box. 200 hits in now and it’s a great bat.
Pros: good pop
Cons: not legal has been banned
Pros: The bat is very balanced, it’s not like other 2 pieces where you feel a flex, no vibration what so ever, after I broke the bat in it had great pop.
Cons: A little pricey if you want something good out of the box I would spend the extra 50$ and get The Goods, the bat needs about 200-300 swings before it breaks in, it sounds like wood at first but after it sounds great.
Pros: I purchased the Louisville Omaha last fall. My son loved the bat and used it along with his wood bat throughout the offseason. His wood is a 32" and his Omaha is a 31". After swinging multiple bats (the goods, meta, warstick, cat) We decided to stick with the Louisville line and go with a 32" Prime. The bat is smooth, balanced, and overall great. His exit velo is up and I am completely satisfied. I do believe this bat will continue to improve over time as it breaks in.
Cons: Zero issues so far -
Pros: best bat in america
Cons: none
Pros: - You hit absolute nukes - Balls just fly - No Sting
Cons: - Needs to be broken in fully
Pros: Right out of the box, this bat has great pop. I wouldn’t buy any other bat other then the Louisville Prime!
Cons: No cons so far!
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Bought the bat and it was dead. Can't use it.
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
Pros: It won’t break after many swings ? It’s a good price
Cons: No pop Bat feels horrible and I can’t sell it
Pros: Great pop Great exit velo No sting on the hands
Cons: none

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
