Cons: not much pop, and does not sound good when comes in contact with ball

Pros: I purchased this bat for my 7 yr old and he broke it in quickly on the hit away. He is swinging a longer bat easily and seeing powerful results both at practice and games. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Pros: only one word to describe this bat. BEAUTIFUL, great bat for power hitters.

Cons: in your dreams

Pros: One-piece design outlasted some comparable 2 or 3 piece bats (DeMarini CF4, Lous. Slugger Triton). It also stings when you miss the sweet spot, which I consider a good things since the feedback helped my 10 year old develop better contact and power.

Cons: Based on hitting infield practice, I'd say the CF4 and Triton have larger/more-forgiving sweet spots. But this bat didn't break.

Pros: I bought this bat 29 17oz for my 8yr old son since he can no longer use his composite bat from last year due to the new regs. He has had this bat now for about two weeks and so far he really likes it. The bat has great pop right out of the box, it's slightly end loaded but he has no trouble getting around on the ball. I think it will perform even better once broke in.Great price also @ $150

Cons: Don't really have any complaints so far only that it seems to mark up pretty easily but not really a big deal. My son has only had the bat for about two weeks.

Pros: My son showed much improved bat speed and loves this bat. He's catching up to pitches now and driving the ball with much greater authority. In the right hands it's a line drive machine.

Cons: None.

Pros: Tons of pop. My son is driving the ball like he's never done before. I truly believe using this bat has increased his confidence at the plate. And at this sale price ($70), it's the bargain of the year.

Cons: Takes a little time to break in, but most composites do. I wish is were available in the next size up -- I'd order it for when my son was ready for a 31 inch bat.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Synergy Speed Youth Baseball Bat: LCN1? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I didn't find this bat on the approved composite list found in www.littleleague.org. Is it an approved little league bat for 2011 season? Jimmy
The LCN1 is actually not approved for Little League. There has been some confusion surrounding this bat though. Initially, Easton informed their retailers that the LCN1 was going to be approved, but as it turns out, it was not approved for Little League.
John
I am confused, on Easton's web site they posted an official waiver from Little League stating they will allow this bat during regular season and tournament play... So is this bat legal or not? Kevin
There was some confusion surrounding this bat. A while back, Easton informed all their retailers (including us) that the LCN1 would be approved for Little League and it was just a matter of time before Little League posted in on their approved composite bat list. Well, the bat never appeared on Little Leagues approved composite bat list and according to them it is not legal. So, with the latest news we've received, this bat is not legal for Little League.
John
Is this bat legal or not? joeyo125
It depends on what league you play in. There are many different leagues and organizations and not all conform to the same rules and regulations. Since I'm not sure what league you're playing in, I don't want to give any false information. For the two biggest youth leagues: This bat is not approved for Little League. It is approved for USSSA.
