Description

Brett Helmer has been awarded National Batting Champion 4 times and selected All-World over 25 times. He's also on this year's USA Men's Slow Pitch National Team for the third straight year. If there was ever a bat that you could put your faith in, it would be one with his name on it. If you thought last year's model couldn't be beat, think again! The new Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer softball bat features Easton's Single System Technology (SST). This one-piece fully composite design gives hitters increased control and extra power to start destroying everything that comes their way! Made from Easton's tried and trusted IMX Composite, the Synergy Speed has been the epitome of extreme high performance and durability for years. Integrated Matrix Technology strengthens the composite structure while optimizing the design for maximum performance! Carbon Nanotube Technology (CNT) also assists in this durability by enhancing the proprietary resin system throughout the entirety of the bat. The SPEED name comes from manufacturing this bat with laser precision to eliminate material overlap. This removes excess mass for a lighter swing weight and faster swing speed! With a 12" slightly endloaded barrel and a stiff, ultra thin 29/32" tapered handle, the Synergy Speed is built for explosive power and monster home runs! Easton: Power Redefined! The SRV6BH is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Love this bat! I have the silver and blue stealth already and wanted the true one piece feel. Ball pops when struck in the sweet spot. Cant wait for this to be completely broken in.

Cons: None at all! Bat and this site took care of me. Ordered it on a Saturday, bat was at my door Tuesday afternoon.

Pros: Unwrapped the bat about 20 minutes before the game and with in the first two trips through the batting order the ball was clearing the fence. Not only did the ball leave the yard but the line drives were jumping off the bat. Also nice feature is the grip, great feel and no sip even in wet conditions there was no problem.

Cons: None, best bat out there for ASA leagues. Trust.

Pros: The bat started off hot hit some nice line drives and some bombs. I have been playing for 12 years now and have swung pretty much every bat out their at one point and easton bats have always been hot

Cons: I have hit easton bats for years now and have never had a probleam but this bat just broke down to fast broke after 60 hits hope that this a one time thing. Waiting till more feedback comes in. Easton ssr4 is still their best of the new bats go with that if u need a bat now.

Pros: Feels great out of the wrapper, BUT BEWARE!

Cons: The bat lasted 10 batters the first game and a loud vibration occured. Easton replaced the bat and the "good" one lasted 8 batters before the vibration was heard. They have manufacturing problems.

Pros: The bat was ok straight out of the wrapper. Many good line drives, it's just not that bomber that I was looking for.

Cons: It's seems as if the weights on the bats are off. They are entirely to light.

Pros: great out of the wrapper - for about 20 hits...

Cons: So we are on our 2nd one - first one we hit for about 50-75 hits and then we heard the rattle- so we sent it back and got another one. 2nd one lasted only about 20 hits then the rattle AGAIN! So contacted an Easton guy guess the "rattle" is normal, we used it last night still had great pop problem was the ump threw it out because he said it sounded broken...

Pros: good power new, weight distribution is good for bat speed

Cons: very first ball hit caused a rattle - bat still felt fine but made "broken" kinds of noises when dropped to the ground after a hit. The rattle is intermittant but I have sent it back to get another.

Pros: Bat swings great, awesome pop, have had many great hits. I never hit homeruns, havnt hit one over since I was about 11 oe 12, and hit my first adult homer with this bad. teamates also love the bat.

Cons: Handle has a rattle after only about 6 games. Doesnt feel like it changes the performance but it definitely doesnt sound good. Have seen this as a common problem, also heard this is normal for this bat. Does anybody have any advice for me or should I try and send it back for a replacement.

Pros: The weighting is nice and the bat has decent pop.

Cons: After 40-50 hits the bat started to rattle and hasn't been the same since. The grip is also really slippery and difficult to hold in wet or colder conditions. If you're looking for a better bat for less money, go with the Salvo. My team has hit a lot of home runs with the Salvo and just 1 with this, so we've pretty much put this in the bag for hitting grounders and pop-flies in practice.

Pros: Absolutely amazing bat! Super Hot right out the wrapper. First at bat and first swing and nailed it over center field fence (labeled @ 325ft)!! Great sweet spot, great grip. Best bat I have ever swung! Great for homeruns or linedrives, all depends on your swing style. Can't go wrong with this bat!

Cons: Everyone now wants to use it.

Pros: After a trying breakin period, ball flies!!! Hot liner hit late summer didnt drop AT ALL! HR SHOT! Really HOT when hit on SS. cool grip

Cons: After 40-50 BP hits its sounds cracked... I call it "smashed cracked glass". 200 hits + to really be game ready. Swings light. Not returned cuz its "normal". waiting for it to break and get another. :D

Cons: Not a very flashy bat, has basic graphics, but who cares its the "pop" your looking for. And this bat has it!

Pros: Breaks in very quickly, its our team bat played a tournament this weekend and the ball jumped off this bat with any type of ball! We have about 400 swings with it and its only getting better, great buy!

Cons: the grip is a litle rough i suggest taking the grip off and just putting on a tape grip.

Pros: This bat took some breaking in, but after maybe 200 hits it rivaled the old Easton SCN3, in my opinion.

Cons: Unfortunately, after about 50 more hits there's a crack somewhere in the handle and the bat has lost all its pop. Sent it back to Easton today.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SRV6BH? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

does this bat have the 1.20 bpf stamp on it? mike
Yes
Mark
The bat had loud vibration after 10 at bats, Easton replaced it. The replacement bat lasted 8 at bats before the vibration could be heard. Does Easton have a quality problem with their manufacturing of this bat? The big G
As of 7/19/2011, Easton has not notified us or any other retailers about any quality issues surrounding the SRV6BH. I've heard just a few customer complaints with this bat, but no more than any other bat.
Brett
I currently have the 2005 synergy extended I am looking to replace it with something comparable. I have heard people say this is bat to buy, but I have also heard the Easton stealth speed xl is the best. I am wondering which one is the better bat. kenny
Both bats are going to be very high performing bats. They are two of our best selling bats. The 2012 Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer will have great pop in the bat. It will use some of the best technology on the market right now.
Brett
Is this bat rolled or broken in before asa tested it? tree
We assume the bat has to be broken in with a normal break in method to make sure the scoring of the bat is accurate.
Linda
Is a single system technology bat considered a single wall bat? Skip
This bat is a single wall bat
Ryan
Is the srv6bh comparable to the srv5 Salvo? is it an upgrade? How is the durability? Rec league player
This is a different bat than the Salvo. This bat has good pop and a large sweet spot and will be a very durable bat.
KG
I use to have a Synergy Extended. After 3 years and many Homeruns later It finally broke. Then I purchased the Synergy Reavel which isn't the power bat the Extended is but is an all around good hitting bat. So I'm looking for an Easton power bat that will last a few years and the hard hits in which I will be putting it through. Will the SRV6 be that bat? Country
Yes, the SRV6 is a power bat that uses Easton's IMX composite technology. They perform very well and have very durable as well.
Mark
Would this be a good choice for my wife (49) she plays on rec leagues or is there a better choice? Steve S.
The SRV6BH will have an end-loaded feel. If I were you, I may lean more towards the Easton SRV4 for a more balanced feel which I think would better suit your wife.
Tyler
What are the diferences / changes between the 2013 Easton Synergy 98H: SP12SY98H Brett Helmer bat and the 2012 Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer: SRV6BH bat? AK
The 2013 SP12SY98H uses a new Black Carbon composite in the handle for better feel at contact and less vibration. Other than that, there really won't be any differences in terms of pop and durability.
Tyler
I play in a co-ed legue that looks for ASA stamps on bat and I have a Easton Salvo and am looking at adding another bat to my bag. Would this be a good one to add or would there be a better Easton to add. Rage
The SRV6BH is a high performing ASA bat that I think would be a great addition to your bag. As far was whether or not there's a "better" one, that comes down to your preferences. There will be a wide variety of new 2013 models Easton will be releasing in April. Some of which are balanced, some endloaded, some two-piece with flex, some one-piece models that are more stiff.
Tyler
Does this bat have the 2013 USSSA stamp on it or the old stamp? adam
The Easton SRV6BH has the old USSSA stamp. Check out the 2013 Easton Synergy SP12SY98H for the new USSSA stamp.
Kris
Does this bat have the 2012 stamp so that it is legal come next year? Michelle
The Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer does not feature the most recent USSSA certification. So the SRV6BH will not be legal for play after in 2013.
Shelbe
I have this bat from a few years ago...model #SRV3 and I LOVE it!!! Will this newer model perform basically the same or is there another model exactly like the one I have? Nick
Out of all the Easton bats currently on the market, the Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer: SRV6BH Slow Pitch bat is the closest comparison to the SRV3. The SRV6BH has the same barrel length, the same balance, the same composite material, and the same performance standard.
Tyler
What are the major differences between the BH Synergy and the 2013 Synergy 98? Muny
The 2013 Synergy 98 has a 13.5 inch balanced barrel for controlled power. A Single System Composite Design will increase bat control. A Black Carbon composite handle improves feel and reduces vibration. The IMX Composite barrel optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance. The Easton Synergy Speed Brett Helmer: SRV6BH Slow Pitch bat will be made the same. This bat will have a Slight End-Load. It will also feature Easton's SPEED Technology. Both bats are approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF, with 98 MPH Performance.
