IMX Composite is a staple of Easton's arsenal as it optimizes the sweet spot for incredible performance. Pros: My team has this bat as a team bat and I've been hitting with it all season. I am absolutely in love with it. I had a game on Monday where I hit back to back homeruns with this bat. When you make contact with the ball, it just flies. I have never had any of that awful vibration on my hands whenever I hit it right off the end of the bat. I used to swing the DeMarini CF4, but it broke at practice last week, so I'm definitely buying this one for my next bat.

Cons: None!

Pros: Bat arrived in excellent condition. I could tell a big difference within 2 weeks of my daughter using the bat. She had to get use to using a drop 10 after using a drop 13 the past season. When she got use to the bat, you could tell that it has a lot of pop. It really has increased her hitting distance.

Cons: None

Pros: My 14 year old daughter first used the bat at a tournament. She hit 2 stand up triples for 4 RBI's, 1 walk off, 3 run homerun, and a couple of singles. Everthing she hit just jumped off the bat. She has a Demarini CF4 and CF5 and did not like how they felt. She loves this bat!

Cons: NOTHING!

Pros: Best bat I've ever used!! I've been playing softball since I was 5 and no bat comes close to this one! Lots of pop when you hit the ball, light weight, and you can't feel the shock on your hands if you hit it off the end or the handel. Our whole team uses it and when you hit a home run, you can tell! The first time I used it I hit a home run and now it's the only bat I ever dream about using!

Pros: My daughter loves this bat. She has used Easton Stealth bats for years and by far likes this one the best.

Cons: We had this bat for 30 days and it cracked on the barrel. I called Easton and they had me a new one in just two days. 30 days later it cracked in another spot on the barrel again I called Easton and they shipped me a new one in two days. This bat is expensive but Easton takes care of their customers.

Pros: Hot bat right out of the wrapper. Was swingin CF5 and wanted a bat that was same size but "felt" a bit more end loaded. This bat is exactly what I wanted.

Cons: have heard that this bat is not extremely durable so will have to see how it does through the high school season. As of now, no complaints!

Pros: I bought this bat for my 12 yr. old daughter for her birthday right after her tournament season ended in August. She swung it at practice and I noticed the ball just jumped off the bat and when she squared it up the ball definitely went further than her demarini CF4. Reading some of the reviews before I bought the bat some parents said their daughters were hitting homers right out of the wrapper. I said yeah right, no bat is going to make girls all of a sudden start smashing balls. I just thought some of these reviews were exaggerated, but they wern't. My daughter used it for the first time this weekend and she hit her first homerun, and for good measure she hit a double and triple. Great bat, just buy it.

Cons: Everyone wants to use it!!!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Stealth Speed Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP11ST10? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Does this bat come in 31" 21oz? TT
Yes it does come in a 31/21, but we do not have any left in stock, nor do we have on order.
Shelbe
Is this a composite softball bat? tommy
The FP11ST10 is a two-piece fully composite design.
Shelbe
What is the break in reccomendation for this bat? Fish
To break in a composite bat you should take 100-200 swings off a tee or soft toss. Rotate the barrel about a 1/4 inch each hit to break in the composite material evenly. Stay away from the yellow dimpled balls in the batting cages because they can damage the bat.
Kara
Do they make this bat in 31 x 19.5 Shenkenator
No. They do not make half sizes.
Kara
Do they make a 33/23 in this bat? Sizzle
They do make it, we are just currently out of stock in it. We should be getting some more in January.
Linda
i would like to know if this bat is approved for 2012 al
Yes, it is.
Linda
Will i be able to use this bat in the batting cages without ruining it? Montana
If the cage you go to uses real softballs and not the compressed rubber ones, there is no problem. The compressed rubber ones are so compressed they are hard on composite bats.
Linda
is this bat top heavy? Ames5
Yes, it is slightly top heavy, which many feel is where the power comes from.
Linda
What is the difference between the 2009 stealth and the 2012 stealth? noneyobusinesss!
The 2009 was a little hotter than the 2012 stealth based on customer feedback. The 2012 model is still going to be a very high performing ba
K.B.
Do you have in stock the 31' 21 oz Rick
Yes, if you look on the page, the sizes we have in stock are listed, and the 31-21 is listed.
Linda
What is the difference between a one piece and a two piece composite design? Does the difference affect performance? Tam
The two piece composite bats are going to have more flex than a one piece bat. Both have composite barrels so they will perform similar to each other.
KB
do you have a 31" 21oz now? softball player
We do currently have the 31" 21 oz in stock.
Derek
Do college teams use this bat? punkin
Some teams may use this bat. This bat is legal for college use.
KG
is this bat ncaa approved hayley
Yes, this bat is approved for NCAA play.
John
Hi, is this a balanced or end loaded bat? gpp76
This will have a balance feel.
Allen
What is the difference between this bat and the 2011 stealth speed ssr3b version? ok
Other than the paint scheme they are both going to be a very balanced two piece design.
John
What's the difference between fp11st10 and ssr3b Emjomax
They have the same composite material. It is going to be a cosmetic change and they used a new softer grip for the FP11ST10
Ryan
Is this bat end-loaded? Kayla F.
This bat is going to have a very balanced feel. Easton designed the bat to have a lower M.O.I. which will give the player faster swing speed.
Tim
What is biggest difference from the 2011 Stealth? Guz
The Fp11ST10 is an upgrade with the same specifications. For more information on Easton bats you can call our customer support at 1-866-321-2287.
Shelbe
Can this bat be used in cold weather? Paul
Since this bat is a composite bat, it is not recommended to use in temperatures that are about 55 degrees or lower. This doesn't mean you absolutely can't use the bat in these temperatures, but is recommended to really limit your bats use, as it can decrease the life of your bat.
Jennifer
I have heard that the two piece composite bats are more fragile than one piece. Is this true about the Stealth Speed? Rob
There really isn't any truth to that statement, or enough facts to back it up. So... I would say that the Stealth Speed has just as good durability as any other two piece bat.
Tyler
Does this bat have the new USSSA thumb print that will be required in 2013? clint
Yes, this bat does feature the new USSSA for 2013 and is legal.
Kris
For a non power hitter is this bat better for her, or is another bat better? Mike
Two piece bats like the Stealth Speed are recommended for a non power hitter.
Kara
I am thinking about buying this bat, but i never used it before. is there a return policy in case I don't like it? Catherine
If it has not been hit with you can return the bat back to us for full credit or an exchange, once the bat is hit with it must be returned back to the manufacturer
Sean
How does the Easton stealth FP11ST10 compare to Louisville Slugger Xeno FP12X? Mitch
The Easton Stealth Speed and the Louisville Slugger TPS Xeno are very similar bats. Both of them are two piece composite designs and will have the same amount of pop. The two bats will perform very similarly and you can't really go wrong with either!
Jennifer
Hello... I have a question about fast pitch softball bats in general. I was told that my bat had to have a special sticker thing to be able to use it in a game, so how do I tell which bats are approved and which aren't? And if im about 6'2 and 14 yrs old what bat would you recommend? Thanks Sammy the Slugger
It all depends on what league or organization you play under as they all have different regulations in regard to certification marks on their bats. I recommend giving our support team a call at 1-866-321-2287 and we can help guide you in the right direction.
Tyler
My daughter is 12 and plays competitive softball. She is a contact hitter, fast bat speed but can hit with pretty good power. I don't want an end loaded bat for her but trying to decide between the Easton Speed, Synergy, or Xeno? Thoughts? JW
Stronger hitters with good bat speed usually benefit from one piece bats like the Synergy or Xeno. I think the Synergy may be a little more balanced than the Xeno. All three bats are on the same level in terms of pop, but the Synergy may be my top recommendation.
Tyler
What is difference between this bat and the model SCN6B that my daughter uses now? Mark
There is not a huge difference between the two bats. The 2012 uses new IMX composite material in the barrel of the bat. Both use the CNT technology, for great durability and performance.
Kara
My daughter is a left handed slapper, 5' and 92 lbs, 13 yrs old. Plays travel ball and made varsity for high school (combined 7th to 12th ). She is a lead off slapper for travel and not a power hitter. Between this bat and the DeMarini CF5, which would be better? Thanks! james
To be completely honest with you, both the CF5 and Stealth Speed are two of the highest end bats on the market. Both are two piece, full composite bats. It's really going to come down to your personal preference as both the Stealth Speed and CF5 are great bats often preferred by slap hitters.
Kayla

My daughter plays travel and school ball. She is 14 yr. She needs a bat that has evenly distributed weight, -10 and light. Is this a good bat and is the weight even distributed? TT
The 2012 Easton Stealth Speed is a balanced bat with great pop and performance.
Kara
When will the 2013 Easton Stealth Speed Fastpitch bat be available? Kim
The projected arrival date that we have for the new Easton Fastpitch line will be the 2012 Holiday Season, mid November to be exact. For additional information feel free to contact our customer service at 1-866-321-2287.
Shelbe
Will this bat still be good for the 2013 season? Tb
Yes. The Easton Stealth Speed does have the BPF 1.20 USSSA stamp that is valid for the 2013 season.
Damon
Will the 2011 Easton SSR3B Stealth Speed Fastpitch Bat be illegal in 2013? Rose
The Easton SSR3B will be approved for play in 2013 for ASA. It will not be approved for USSSA play in 2013 because it does not have the new USSSA BPF 1.20 thumbprint stamp.
John
My girl is a Senior in high school and is a slapper. She is looking at the IMX series. Which bat, IMC composite, two-piece IMX composite, THT100, or the one-piece THT100 scandium alloy, would be a better fit? She currently uses a Stealth. I would like to purchase something that will help her have some power, but not end loaded. Thanks. d
Based on the information given, I would recommend the Easton Stealth Speed. The Stealth will provide some power for a slapper since it is a very high performing composite.
Nick K.
What is the difference between the Easton Stealth Speed and the Synergy Speed? mahorn
The 2012 Easton Stealth Speed is a two-piece composite bat and the Easton Synergy Speed is a one-piece all composite bat. The Easton Synergy will be stiffer than the Easton Stealth Speed.
Kara
I have a power hitter and we are trying to decide between the Stealth or the Synergy Speed, the lime green/white. e
Both the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed and the 2012 Easton Synergy Speed use IMX Composite. The Easton Synergy Speed is a one-piece bat, best suited for a power hitter.
Kara
is this approved for NAIA college softball? My daughter has 2 other Eastons that they say she can not use. Rick
NAIA is following NCAA rules. According to NCAA's approved bat list, the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch is approved for play: https://nfca.org/web_docs/forms/ncaabatlist.pdf
Tyler
My daughter is 5'0, 96 lbs. She's 3rd in her line up and she bunts, slaps, and hits for power. What size bat should she use and is this a good bat for her? Kristie
A 31" model would be recommended, and the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch bat is a great option for an all around hitter.
Tyler
Is this bat good for USSSA 2013 play? Kylie
Yes, the Easton Stealth Speed is legal for 2013 USSSA play.
Sean
Which bat is better, the Xeno or Stealth Speed? quoia
Both the Louisville Slugger TPS Xeno and the Easton Stealth Speed are very high performing bats that will have a lot of pop. You really can't go wrong with either one.
Nick
can i order a 32"? Suzanne
As of 7/30/2012, we do not have any 32" models of the Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch bat in stock. This is a closeout model and more than likely, will not be getting any additional sizes in stock.
Tyler
I just bought this bat 3 months ago and the season is over. i was told this bat is not leagal for highschool softball in 2013. Is this true? bree
Based on the information we have, the Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch bat will still be legal in High School play in 2013.
Tyler
we are trying to decide between a easton stealth, demarini cf5, and a worth 454 which would be best to choose for a contact hitter with average power for a competitive softball team, i've seen reviews that say the 454 isn't very durable and also reviews stating the demarini isn't balanced. What is your input, and what bat would you suggest? confused bat buyer
I would suggest sticking with the same brand or type of bat she has used in the past with the most success. So much of hitting is psychological, and it's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate. All are great bats. The CF5 is the most popular right now followed by the Stealth Speed then 454.
Tyler
I was wondering what, if any, manufacturing differences there are between the 2011 Stealth Speed and the 2012 Stealth speed. My daughter has used the 2011 and wants to get the 2012 model for this year. teamkreisler
From 2011 to 2012, there were no major overhauls with the Stealth Speed. The biggest difference (which isn't much) is that the 2012 model is a little more balanced with a slightly lighter swing weight. This isn't too noticeable, but can make a little bit of a difference in the player's swing. Both have similar pop and durability.
Tyler
My daughter has outgrown her 32-22 Stealth; she's been borrowing other bats, but now we need our own. She's now 5'10 and has slugging power to get it to the fence. Coach suggested another Stealth, but I see there are two different types. Your suggestion? Cindy
We actually only have one Easton Stealth Fastpitch bat, which is this one you asked about. If she's had success in the past with an Easton Stealth, I would absolutely recommend sticking with it as she would be much more likely to have continued success at the plate.
Tyler
when is the 2013 coming out? Or is it already out? Gasoftballplayer
Unfortunately, we have not received any information yet regarding Easton's new 2013 line. We should have more info in the next few weeks.
Tyler
My daughter used this bat of a teammate and loved it, hit very well with it. I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions on something comparable? She is 13, playing travel and school ball. softball mom
The 2013 Easton FS1: FP13S1 Fastpitch replaced the Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch. It will be higher performing and more durable than the Easton Stealth Speed.
Kara
What is the newer model of this bat? The SSR4Bb? What would you suggest for a 31" end loaded bat? schmir
The 2013 Easton FS1: FP13S1 Fastpitch replaced the Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch. The end loaded version of the Easton Stealth Speed is the 2014 Easton FX1: FP14X1 Fastpitch. The smallest size available is a 32". The 2013 DeMarini CF5 Insane: DXCFI Fastpitch is also end loaded and would be a good alternative for a 31" bat.
Kara
Is it still legal for ASA and high school ball in 2014? Tom
The Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST10 Fastpitch should be legal because it has the ASA stamp, but it is always best to check with league officials or a coach first since it will not contain the new USSSA stamp.
Tori
What bat compares to this now? My daughter is 5'10 and 180 pounds of pure power. We bought the FS1 and she hates it and needs a new bat for college. mary Anne
The model that replaced the Easton Stealth Speed Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP11ST10) is the new Easton FS1. That model features the same two-piece fully composite design as well as the balanced swing weight. If she is more of a power hitter, going with an end loaded design may be something to take into consideration. The Easton that would most likely be similar (with an end load) would be the FX1. Another great option to check out would be the end loaded DeMarini CF7 Insane.
Tessa
My daughter is 5'3" and is an all around hitter. What bat would you recommend? mom
I'd take a look at the new Easton 2015 Easton MAKO Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP15MK10) as it will be the most similar to that older Easton Stealth Speed model.
