Description

Easton Salvo 13.5" Loaded Dual Stamp 240 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SPSAL2L

Say "Hello" to a slow pitch bat that can be used in any league out there: The Easton Salvo!

Bat Benefits

The Salvo line of bats is legendary within the slow pitch market and this model will not disappoint! It is going to feature the two-piece design that slow pitch hitters have truly come to love in recent years. The barrel and handle of the bat are going to be fused together by Easton's ConneXion technology. This connector piece ensures that no discomfort reaches a batter's hands when they hit a ball off-center from the sweet spot. As well, that piece makes sure that there is an optimal amount of flex at the connection point when a softball is being hit.

Easton has crafted the bat with two different types of composite. For the former baseball players out there, you might remember the Easton Mako bat from 5-10 years ago. That Mako employed TCT Thermo Composite material on its barrel. Well, you former baseball studs will be glad to hear that this Salvo will feature that same exact material. The Mako crushed baseballs back in the day and the Salvo will crush softballs this season! Partnering with the TCT Thermo Composite will be the Sic Black Carbon material on the handle. The Sic Black material should work with the ConneXion technology to keep vibration from getting down to a batter's hands.

The "Loaded" barrel feel that Easton has put on this bat will get the power hitters psyched as they usually like a little bit of heft in the barrel of their bats. However, Easton's "Loaded" distinction compares most similarly to "slightly end-loaded" bats from other manufacturers. Because of it only feeling "slightly end-loaded", we feel that this Salvo will be an enticing option for contact hitters looking to add some power to their game.

And this specific Salvo has been made bearing both of the biggest softball certification stamps out there. It will have the USA Softball (ASA) and the USSSA stamp. With those two stamps, this bat is going to be allowed for use in pretty much every league or tournament out there. If you are a nomad and find yourself playing on a bunch of different teams, then this bat should be considered as you won't have to worry about its legality!

Lastly, be sure to note that this specific Salvo will only be found when shopping at JustBats!

Warranty

Easton is willing to extend a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this high-powered bat! If you purchase it from JustBats and feel as though the bat has a warranty issue within that first year since the purchase, please let our Bat Experts know. They will be able to assist with getting you the information needed to start the warranty replacement process with Easton.

Great Bat for Slow Pitch Zachary Hinkle Player

Pros: Bat is overall a solid 9 or 9.5 out of 10. I absolutely love everything about this bat from the looks to how it feels when connecting, to even the sound when you hit the ball. Bat is hot out of the wrapper, trust me when I tell you this bat has amazing pop. Also have a Miken Primo that did not react this well fresh out the wrapper.

Cons: The one and only con on this bat is the grip feels a little bit on the cheaper side but this can easily fixed with another market grip, such as lizard skins, etc.

Surpised on the performance out the wrapper 4xtra Player

Pros: Being a DUAL STAMP I thought this would take 150+ cuts to break this in but this bat hits 44's and even 52's very well. I got 300+ cuts on mine now and it is performing very well. Hit a HR on the 1st pitch literally right out the wrapper with 44's during a SENIOR GAME. Feels Mid loaded almost balanced. If you slap the ball this bat would be perfect for place hitting.

Cons: Not a true end loaded bat but the bat will perform

All you need Daniel Player

Pros: Nice pop after the 10th ball. Handle is thin enough if you’re a knuckle gripper. You don’t need to swing too hard to hit it to the wall. I’m 5’6” switcher, and I’ve always had a quick swing more than a powerful swing, and I’ve been driving it to the 310’ wall with my same swing. I was looking for a Worth Krecher, since I like end loaded bats, but even when this one doesn’t feel that endloaded, you get the same swing and contact feeling. It’s been 5 games and about 25 at bats and the bat feels great. No dents nor cracks. No complaints at all about the grip, as some people do. It’s grippy and cushy without being too thin or thick.

Cons: You might expect it to be a bit more endloaded, but it still does the trick. The weight feels more within the second than the last third of the bat.

Great bat! Player

Pros: Performance: Bat is hot out of the wrapper. Appearance: This is a great looking bat and it is easy to spot among all the other player’s bats. Additional Note: Several teammates ask to use this bat during every game.

Cons: None.

Great Pop Stevie D Player

Pros: Bat swings well & has great pop. I hit a homerun in my 4th at-bat with it. I found it used on the website and it arrived in great condition. Just looked like it was used as a demo bat. Great option if you're in an ASA/USA bat league like I am.

Cons: The knob is pretty small in circumference so that could be an issue if you have big hands like me. I bruised the inside of my hand on it taking cuts off a tee. I bought a knob extended (cheap addition) to help with the issue.
