Description
Make more solid contact with the ball with this Easton BBCOR baseball bat. The Easton Project 3 FUZE BBCOR bat provides greater mass behind the ball, driving it farther and faster. The Project 3 FUZE is manufactured with the patented reinforced CARBON-CORE technology or C-Core technology which results in thin barrel walls, positively affecting the trampoline response of the bat and resulting in more durability and resistance to wear and tear. The unique VRSCOR handle insert gives the bat a solid feel, so it feels sturdy in the hands, and the comfortable LIZARD SKIN grip combines both cushion and tack to give the batter confidence in humid and wet conditions and to help absorb vibration. Easton: Fueled by Passion. Designed to Win.

Pros: This bat
Cons: notta, except the fact that it needs to be breaked in and it takers timeeee
Pros: Out of the wrapper, it looks good, feels good, evenly weighted. But that's where the good stops. Easton customer service was very good and helpful, see Cons below as to why.
Cons: Kid is 14, 5'6" and weighs 105 lbs. He broke 3 of these in 4 weeks. The first one died before his first game. I called Easton and said the ping sound is now a wood sound and they said it was a defect, so they sent me another. After the first game, the next batting practice, same thing happened. They sent me another. After 25 swings, same thing happened. 3 bats, 4 weeks, all went dead almost instantly. Easton sent me an ADV to see if that would help, and after one game, same issue. I was hitting fly balls to him with these bats and couldn't hit the 200 foot fence. Grabbed a Slugger Solo and easily hit it 50 feet further with less effort. Easton said it took years to develop this new technology for Project 3, well sadly this one is a dud. Side note, a teammate bought the Alpha and had the same problem. Do not buy the Project 3 bats.
Pros: Feels great out of the wrapper, sounds great...
Cons: It broke within the first 2 months of swinging and was only used in games (6). Swung the bat, deep to center field, when the bat dropped, i heart a clanking metal sound, so when i get back to the dugout i tapped the handle against the ground, and it cracked and was dunzo, i do not suggest this bat. spending the extra 100 dollars on a marucci cat 8 is worth it.
Pros: Has great pop and no vibration unless you hit it on the very end. The grip is awesome and no need to replace. The price is great because this is like the 3rd best BBCOR bat. So that’s awesome.
Cons: The sweet spot is a little small but if you don’t hit in the sweet spot the ball will still fly.
Pros: Balanced swing weight if looking for a light swinging BBCOR or someone making the jump from youth big barrel to BBCOR. Responsive barrel, stiff feel on contact. 100+ MPH exit velo on 55-60 MPH BP.
Cons: Not really cons in my mind, but differences in preference. If looking for an end loaded option, this isn't the bat. Also vibrates a bit if not hit squarely (which is expected with any one piece). No real cons to speak of beyond that.
Pros: Best bat ever. Hits dingers
Cons: None
Pros: Out of the wrapper the bat feels like it should. Has some pop and little sting. But that all ends fast I had one of these I used for the spring season and then got a second one before the summer after breaking the first, with the same problem occurring
Cons: The bat tape that is on this series, while it is lizard skin, is not as durable as normal tape. The biggest problem with these bats is the cap on the end of the barrel. Is you try to hit outside pitches, the barrel gets squeezed and becomes dented. The cap begins to slide out of the bat on every swing, and once it is loose it loses almost all pop. If you want a one piece bat for a cheaper price than the top of the line, look at a newer Easton or something from a different brand. The Louisville Slugger Solo is a good bat for an intermediate player to try opposed to this
Pros: The pop on the bat is amazing. There is no vibration when contact is made with the ball. It’s a really good bat to get when you start using bbcor bats.
Cons: Nothing
Pros: Right off, can’t think of any stand out pros. The original grip was good and the rubber nob felt fine, but nothing else really.
Cons: I had this bat for a year and a half. I’m a junior this year, and I was just starting to get this bat hot. That’s when I started realizing the dents forming all around the end of my barrel. Even before that, the bat had terrible pop. I once swapped bats for the Demarini Goods, and instantly felt more pop and more HRs during that BP round than ever with my Fuze. I took one HR the entire time I had the bat, yet have hit more borrowing the Voodoo One than I did with my own bat. I’m very disappointed and I was a huge Easton fan. Just not anymore.
Pros: Lightweight/balanced feel
Cons: Barrel is kind of small so not as big sweet spot
Pros: Good for a contact hitter, balanced bat. Also looks pretty cool.
Cons: Pop is pretty much nowhere to be found, can barely get it out of the infield. Also feels AWFUL when you hit it, and durability is only ok.
