It is indeed going to be one of the largest barrels on the baseball bat market and Easton does say that among one-piece bats the Maxum has the largest barrel shape available.
This Junior Big Barrel Bat is one that you should definitely go after if you have a young player out on a coach pitch or machine pitch field this season. It is specifically designed to perform well and be durable at that initial level of play. Because of that, we would not really recommend it for use in a player pitch league where velocities of the pitches could go over 40-45 MPH.
