Easton builds this tee ball bat with a straightforward one-piece & all-alloy design that will keep things nice and simple for a young player. This bat is perfect for players within tee ball leagues as it is specifically designed for hitting a stationary ball off of a tee. Be sure to note that if you hit thrown pitches with the bat, there is a decent shot that the bat may dent or crack.
As well, this MAXUM is going to have a 2 1/2" barrel to it which will make it extra fun for young batters. The barrel is going to cover up more area of the hitting zone when compared to a smaller 2 1/4" barrel bat and it should increase the chances that your player swings and makes solid contact with the baseball!
Lastly, since this bat does have a larger 2 1/2" barrel diameter, some softball tee ball leagues may be hesitant to allow it for use. For softball players participating in a tee ball league, we might suggest looking for a bat with a 2 1/4" barrel diameter and a light drop size (-11, -12, -13).
