The newly designed Double Barrel 2 engineering equips this bat with both an internal and external barrel. The doubling reduces the compression inside the bat and amplifies the flex of the barrel. It is essentially a micro-whiplash effect whereby you can possibly rope out a gap double on what might otherwise be a standard single. This softball bat also comes with Launch Composite Technology that gives it a fatter, wider sweet spot. And the Power Boost's "Soft Knob" at the base of the handle gives you more control and leverage, further magnifying the whiplash effect on each strong connection. This two-piece fastpitch bat is connected by the patented ConneXion Evolution and fitted with double the Nitrocell compared to other Easton varieties.
