Description
DeMarini Voodoo One BBCOR Baseball Bat: WBD2352010
With an incredibly light feel and effortless power, the Voodoo One is back and determined to cement itself as the Gold Standard of BBCOR Baseball Bats!
Bat Benefits
The Voodoo One has been one of the most sought-after BBCOR bats over the past few years, and for a good reason! DeMarini once again calls upon their innovative X14 Alloy material to construct the Voodoo One Gold. Due to the material's lightweight feel, DeMarini has been able to deliver a powerful one-piece bat that can be swung by players of all hitting styles. To increase barrel performance and durability, refinements were performed on the Tracer End Cap to include ultra-stiff composite materials. DeMarini has also reinforced the knob with composite materials for insanely high swing speeds.
The Voodoo One Gold sports one of the coolest designs we have ever seen on a bat, as well! The gold background features a collection of diagonally-placed DeMarini logos which serves as a canvas “Skully” - the brand's iconic imagery that first appeared on the earliest Voodoo’s!
Available in sizes ranging from 29” to 34”, hitters of all types can add the DeMarini Voodoo ONE Gold to their bag to begin playing mind games on opposing pitchers!

Not that durable tbh. David Other
Pros: This bat can hit balls far. Many people use it in my HS team.
Cons: The knob and end cap come off. I would consider taping over the knob and make somewhat a bonesaber knob so it has a little extra life.
Great while it lasts KC Parent
Pros: Great bat - while it's in one piece. Been through 2 warranty replacements - two broken knobs - the first one after 1 week of use - and now the third bat is vibrating whenever the bat lands on the ground (after getting hit, etc...) and has completely gone dead. EV's dropped nearly 10 mph and the bat sounds awful. Sending it back and hoping for yet another replacement...we'll see.
Cons: Not a matter of "if" the bat will break...it's most definitely a "when" the bat breaks
Life expectancy 6 months R Donato So Cal Parent
Pros: Swings good hits good.
Cons: Buy one for one month usage. Knob falls off. Google it. Voodoo quality control and engineering should be fired. Never demarini again
Knob end cap breaks quickly Darren L Coach
Pros: Didn’t have any of these bat longer than a week to determine if there are any pros.
Cons: Bought three and all three knobs broke off! Not action or concern from Demarini. They could care less. Waste of money as they are junk. Just horrible beware!
Amazing Bat while It last!! Jose Parent
Pros: Huge pop right out of the wrapper. Fast swing speed
Cons: Durability, Durability, and Durability!! Knob design is garbage The end cap still has issues.
i like this bat andy craft Player
Pros: I hit tanks with this bat so ya its a nice bat
Cons: Not that durable
King of bats made in the United States Dannie Edelman Player
Pros: I absolutely love my bat I got it pre-release and I have had zero issues
Cons: The voodoo name has had some issues especially the two piece bats but I have no complaints on there single piece bats
Very good Justin Player
Pros: Lots of pop after break in and very balanced
Cons: None
Voodoo one Conner Clark Player
Pros: Very light swinging really good pop and hits nukes.
Cons: It could have a thicker grip.
You will be disappointed Matt Parent
Pros: Good pop
Cons: End cap broke after 5 games. Varsity high school player. Disappointed in the quality to say the least, especially when Demarini said they fixed this issue.
Knob Job Knob Job Parent
Pros: Good pop , balanced swing.
Cons: The knob FELL off 2 months after purchasing. Sent it back under warranty, they sent me back the same bat with a new knob. I’m sorry but it should have been replaced or even better yet a credit with Demarini to get a different bat. The durability of this bat has been a huge issue, and still is!
The worst bat we have ever bought James Shoemaker Parent
Pros: None 2nd bat in 2 weeks and that no joke.
Cons: 2 brand new voodoo 1 bats in 2 weeks and both are dead in a week. My kid is 5'4 and 120lbs Varsity Baseball and hits mid outfield. This bat dies in 3 games at max 10 hits. Will never buy another Voodoo 1. Sticking with marucci bats.
Poor Quality J. Sander Parent
Pros: The staff at JustBats were professional and prompt with their customer service in working through issues with the DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat. We did not have the bat long enough to give it a fair rating on feel, pop and vibration.
Cons: Purchased DiMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat for my son who is a freshman in high school. When the bat arrived, it had a defect on the knob and we returned it. JustBats did a great job getting the bat exchanged and we received the replacement in a couple of days. After three weeks of practice and one game the knob on the replacement bat fell off. I've purchased 20+ bat over the last 20 years and I've never seen such a defect with a particular model. JustBats did a commendable job handling this issue. Unfortunately, this experience will be a factor when considering the purchase of future DiMarini models.
Broke in less than 2 weeks Eric Coach
Pros: As all the reviews say it has lots of pop.
Cons: As all the reviews say it breaks easily and it's durability is a three out of five. I wish I would have listened to the reviews and not wasted my money on this bat.
Knob popped off Joe Parent
Pros: Looks and feels great for a week then garbage
Cons: This our second one that the knob broke off. They said they fixed it but it’s not true other kids with the same bat on my son high school team and his travel team also had same issue plus 2 kids had top plate pop out. Worst bat ever
It hasn’t broken yet! Henry Chou Parent
Pros: Swings light for a BBCOR and has great pop!
Cons: None so far. End cap and knob haven’t broken yet.
Freshman 2023 Kaden Player
Pros: Balls jump off the barrel , miss hits still fly no vibration , has a very nice taper on the knob and the sound is nice not loud and pinging
Cons: Non thus far has around 1,000 hits since out of wrapper
Feels Light R.P. Coach
Pros: This bat is easy to swing and has great pop.
Cons: Rings the hands sometimes
BROKE AFTER 30 DAYS Sherman Wilson Coach
Pros: Good pop when not broken.
Cons: Bat went dead after on 30 days. Tapped knob and bat head on the ground and heard vibration rattle. Compared it to another Voodoo One, and that bat didn't have the vibration sound. Son hit line drive and it barely made it to SS. Took to cages the next day and bat was completely dead... weird sounds with ball contact... Son switched bats and saw tremendous difference. Not happy at all about this $350 bat not lasting 30 days. Will be sending back..
Voodoo Robert Tyson Parent
Pros: Great bat with a lot of pop!!!
Cons: Hoping it’s durable and doesn’t break like last years bat
Baseball Mom of 2!! Mindy Shrimplin Parent
Pros: Have this bat in a 33" 30 oz and a 31"28oz both boys are comfortable with swinging it!
Cons: None
Awesome bat Lorenzo Tavarez Parent
Pros: I was skeptical about buying this year and last year models but we haven’t had any problems out of them. Hot bay right out of the wrapper.
Cons: None yet.
v Player
Pros: good pop. balanced swing weight
Cons: none
terrible G bandz Player
Pros: looks cool
Cons: The endcap and knob broke first swing
Broke in 1 month Parent
Pros: Good pop
Cons: Bat never made it out of practice before the knob broke off.
Not to long AnTony Shannon Parent
Pros: Great bat.
Cons: I have to give a 1 on durability because we got it a week ago. My son swung with it at 2 practices and the knob broke!!
Demarini Voodoo Alex Crespo Parent
Pros: The bat is all round good.
Cons: None
Great buy Juanita Player
Pros: My son loves the bat! His words "I hit bombs with this bat"!
Cons: N/A
Buyer Beware KC Parent
Pros: The bat is hot...no doubt about it. Exit velo consistently 3-4 mph higher than with Easton HYPE Comp - same length and weight. For a point of reference, my son's EV's hover between 87 and 89 on barreled balls.
Cons: BUT...after two weeks - the knob is about to fall off of the bat. I need to point out that this was not due to capping the ball or gross mishits. The end cap and knob look like they did when it came out of the box. Also, he has only hit leather baseballs, no crappy yellow pitching machine balls. There is NO EXCUSE for this to happen to a $400 bat.
New Bat Wayne Wehnau Parent
Pros: My son loves the new voodoo. He has more pop than ever, and more confidence coming into his junior season in HS.
Cons: It's too new to see if it has any durability issues. We may also put a knob shaper and new wrap on it, more to his comfortably.
Vodoo stick Karl Nilsen Parent
Pros: Balanced easy swing great pop
Cons: No cons as of now
Awesome Christian Wenks Player
Pros: Balanced, good pop, comfortable. Looking forward to using it more.
Cons: None yet
Voodoo One Brian Taylor Parent
Pros: Pop
Cons: None
Most breakable bat ever Griffin Burk Player
Pros: Feels okay Easy to swing
Cons: Vibration Cheaply made Breaks easily This bat is literally a remake of last year. The knob and end cap problem is still there. Hit was this bat two times in the cage and the knob fell off. Didn’t slam the knob or anything it just fell off. This brand keeps on going downhill each year.
usually good Franco Player
Pros: High exit velos.
Cons: too lightswinging for me, knob fell off (shocker) and sweetspot is small
Amazing bat Braden Player
Pros: Too many
Cons: None
Never Again Jay Perrier Parent
Pros: It’s a good bat for 3-6 months
Cons: It’s only good for 3-6 months and then it breaks. You won’t be able to get a replacement until the following year’s model is released and that one will break in 60 days. Speaking from experience. DeMarini should be charging half because you’ll need 2 bats per season.
Broken Bat Ethan Player
Pros: Pop feels great
Cons: Bat was terrible. Ordered it, used it the next day in the cage and it was fine, but the day after that I was hitting again and the knob flew off. Terrible durability.
It just looks cool Ky Player
Pros: It’s good looking a little bizarre but it’s cool finally a change from the basic red, black, yellow finish. Light, it’s just light. Pops like any other overpriced bat to be honest.
Cons: It’s comes around fast which isn’t great for me personally, it’s nice for those that need it but it doesn’t balance out for me. I personally luck out on the price due to an employee discount, I’m able to cut down majority of those numbers, where as anyone paying full price might be disappointed.
Broken Knob D3 College Player Player
Pros: Really good one-piece alloy bat in terms of swing weight and power. Hits the ball far when you barrel it on the sweet spot.
Cons: I barely got any use out of my Voodoo One before the knob came off. Durability is bad!!! I have other friends this happened to as well. We are all college players, and we can't rely on our Demarini bats to last through a season.
terrible design on knob alex marra Parent
Pros: balanced great and lots of pop
Cons: durability is awful. my son is a college player and he is lucky to get 4 months out of the bat before the knob comes loose and breaks. warranty only replaces one time. customer service is terrible. 5 star balance and pop. 0 star everything elese.awful college players play or practice every day.need a bat that can hold up.
Durability low great feel though Colten Lee Player
Pros: Nice pop very stiff feel
Cons: End cap broke after a month of having it
Great Trey Player
Pros: Very balanced, you won’t get rung up at all
Cons: There really is none
BEST BAT EVER!!! FRANK EVANGELHO Parent
Pros: SON ABSOLUTELY LOVES THIS BAT!!! EASY SWINGING, AWSOME POP...ALMOST EXPLOSIVE OFF THE BARREL!!! HE SAYS IT'S THE BEST BAT HE HAS EVER HAD!!
Cons: NONE
AMAZING BAT Jack Saveall Player
Pros: I've struggled finding a bat that I truly like and I ordered this and it is the best bat ive ever swung... very light lots of power decent sweet spot
Cons: I have had mine for about a month and ive had no durability issues I just know the voodoo name has some issues so I am worried about that.
So far so good Matt Parent
Pros: Feels light. Lighter than boy's drop -5 Glitch Looks awesome. My "skinny" kid moved from 12U 30/22 to a 30/27 in 2 months. He used a 30/25 for those 2 months. Now to 14U and if given the choice, he'd still pick this over the -8 Zen or -5 Glitch.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say.
DeMarini Voodoo 2023 Gold Dave Burger Other
Pros: Good Pop. Swings smooth.
Cons: DURABILITY. End Knob broke off after 1 week. This is the 3rd bat my grandson had that end knob broke off. DeMarini continues to have serious durability issues with end knobs and caps. Very poor.
Broke Within 2 Days Donovon Galovich Player
Pros: Great Pop, great feeling, and super light swing weight.
Cons: 2 days after receiving the bat the knob flew off while hitting bp.
Bat Brock Clark Parent
Pros: Good looks
Cons: To pricey
Voodoo 1 Leo Player
Pros: Real good pop, Feels really good.
Cons: Breaks easy. Barreled a ball in front toss and knob fell off.
Fantastic bat Parent
Pros: Son noticed the difference immediately between this bat and his previous one. Smooth swing
Cons: None
amazing bat for any type of hitter E Player
Pros: great sweet spot on the barrel and it has amazing pop out of the wrapper. I highly suggest this bat for any kinda of hitter. I am a player myself and got this bat yesterday. Best bat out on the market
Cons: Gave durability a 4 star because it's a demarini bat and vibation is solid but not perfect
This bat is insane Nathan Shaffer Player
Pros: Pop is insane hard to miss a barrel
Cons: Scratches east
Voodoo 2023 Chase Alexander Player
Pros: Good pop.
Cons: Have to replace the grip tape already. Don’t think this should be happening when I have had the bat for less than a month.
Andres 16U Eliseo Martinez Parent
Pros: My son love the way the bat feels and great pop.
Cons: The only cons on the bat is the Valbrition.
The King hath Returned DingerKing Coach
Pros: This bat is the best. It's balanced, it has excellent power and a large sweet spot. If you want a one piece bat, there really isn't a better option on the market. I have swung them all and the kitty x ain't the answer. Maybe next time boys :*(
Cons: none.
End cap broke during first week Camden Nygaard Player
Pros: Balanced bat for six days......
Cons: End cap broke within seven days of using it.
Great bat Aidan Moore Player
Pros: Lots of pop
Cons: Beat bat in the game!!
One game J's dad Parent
Pros: I bought this bat for my son. He hit pretty well with it but was battling a groin issue so the jury is still out for him. He is a Sophomore, college baseball. In a intra squad game, he let a couple other players use it. The Senior that used it doubled down the LF line fist time using it, it was an arcing double that one bounced the fence. Next time up, he blasted one had to be 400 feet plus, it's still in flight haha. And two other kids had nice line drives with it. Seems like a great bat so far
Cons: none so far but I gave 5 on all categories not knowing durability or fell or vibration but from what I saw for now, it deserves a 5 overall rating.

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
