Description

DeMarini CF -10 USA Baseball Bat: WTDXUFX22

The CF USA Baseball Bat is poised to crush baseballs out of USA ballfields once again!

Bat Benefits

The CF is back at it again for this season and DeMarini is sticking with the tried-and-true design that has yet to do them wrong. This two-piece, all-composite baseball bat will be made from the Paraflex Plus Composite Material that maximizes the size of the sweet spot on the bat. Along with the Paraflex Plus Composite, they have also brought back the 3-Fusion Connection piece that fuses the barrel and the handle portions of the bat together. This piece will limit the amount of vibration that gets down to a batter's hands on a miss-hit and it should also allow for a nice flex feel when connecting with a baseball. Overall, it will make for a very comfortable experience when swinging this bat.

This drop 10 and USA-rated bat will be ready to perform up to the limits allowed by USA Baseball. Plus, you can choose this bat with confidence as each year it is one of the best-performing USA bats out there. Don't go guessing on a baseball bat to purchase this year, make this CF your selection!

Warranty

DeMarini is definitely a “top of mind” brand when it comes to baseball and softball bats. And they haven’t gotten to their current status by just making top-quality bats. They also make sure that their customers are cared for. And because they care about customers, they are extending a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period on this bat. If you buy the bat from us and experience a warranty issue within 12 months of the purchase date, please let our Bat Experts know. They will get you the information needed to begin a warranty replacement process with DeMarini!

8U Loves It JD Coach

Pros: After breaking this bat in the right way this bat POPS! My son is using it for our USSSA 8U Travel team and you can tell when its hit on the sweet spot. Bat is also forgiving on mis-hits often times hitting faster than usual grounders (for this age) and very high pops.

Cons: Inside pitches sometimes hit off where the barrel and handle connect causing weak grounders

This or prime Stop cheating start practicing...... Other

Pros: Cf is slightly endloaded

Cons: Prime is more balanced no drop 8 or 5 for usa same as prime Wilson try to make either the prime or cf in 8 and 5 its been almost 5 years into usa bats its time. P.s. bring the usa voodoo and voodoo 1 back in atleast 10 and drop 5 they are just a little more balanced then your select series there great to but all the cheating w ring removal has everyone questioning when a ball is hit hard people don't understand that yes rings dampen how hard it's hit but they are also structural to bat they dent easily when removing. Also the goods in usa are not that good Easton quantum drop 5 is destroying (89) bucks vs 199

Pros: First hit was a bomb by another kid who was in a slump! It was his first home run ever. Not bad for right out of the wrapper. Bat arrived just in time as promised for a playoff game. Kids loved it. My son is a average size 11 year old and this bat works great. Not too heavy .

Best of both worlds Jerry Coach

Pros: Good pop once broke in. Great grip. Great balance. We transition to this bat after using an East on speed and an Easton ghost. We have a 28/-10 which is heavy than both of the previous bats. Even though this bad is heavier my child said that it feels lighter then both that he swings it with the same precision to get more pop off of it. We like this back because we can use it in both our rec and travel ball tournaments. It’s on the higher end of the price tag but it’s well worth it if you have a player who can swing the bat, has good mechanics. This bat is gonna progress with the player.

Cons: None as of now.

Broke Before the season started Colin Player

Pros: This bat has good pop and has almost zero to no vibration. I play for a 12u travel team and was going to use it this year. I used a solo last year and this has way more pop than the solo and almost zero vibration compared to the solo.

Cons: Was doing pre season work in the cages and when I hit the ball on the sweet spot the barrel came flying off.

Good but can be better Player

Pros: Really nice pop and when you hit it on the sweet spot the ball flies. Good for any hitter. I hit my first homer with this bat, and didn’t even need to swing that hard.

Cons: Like I said, it can be a lot better. Not the best on mis hits. If you hit it not on the sweet spot it is usually a weak grounder. I would still recommend this bat though.

About the Brand

In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."

In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.

Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.

To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.

In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.

Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.

With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).

In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.

Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.

In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.

More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
