Recently purchased Was hoping for a little more coach

Pros: Bought on clearance for $70 originally $190 for my 10 year old son who plays travel ball for batting practice only, he uses a DeMarini Voodoo for games. Haven't had the bat long enough so gave 3 stars for durability.

Cons: Doesn't have the pop I'd expect. Biggest problem is the bat has a lot of vibration, I had others on the team use the bat in BP and none could get through a bucket of balls because their hands were stinging. I've had this issue before with Combat bats but decided to give them another chance because the bat was priced so well. After using the bat, I'm skeptical of other readers reviews and the high marks. Hitting is hard enough without bat sting.

Pros: Great pop with large sweet spot. We performed a 300 hit break in off the tee and have used it in numerous games since. My son and a couple team mates are consistently hitting the ball further than they were with lesser bats.

Cons: Off the handle or the end, the vibration sting is a little enhanced compared to an all aluminum bat. If hit anywhere through the meat of the barrel there is no vibration.

Last week bought next size up for 2018 season and another step larger for 2019. At this price u can afford to...My son loves combat....a sin Easton is closing them down.

Pros: Easy to break in and can feel the bat reaction/pop waking up with each swing. My son has a Maxum and this Vigor, he prefers the Vigor due to the nice end loaded feel. Hitting balls over 20-30 ft further in 1 week compared to his last bat.

Pros: Love it. Dont let the negative reviews about vibrations scare you away. That just means you arent hitting it on the sweet spot which is a swing mechanics issue not a bat issue. I look at that as an advantage. Stay inside the ball and no vibration.

As for the stinging sensation, since this bat is a one-piece bat there could be more stinging felt from off-centered hits on this bat compared to two-piece models (two-piece models will flex more allowing for these bats to reduce stinging sensation more so than a one-piece bat).

This 2016 COMBAT VIGOR -10 Senior League Baseball Bat (VIGSL110) will be lower in cost than the MAXUM models of bats offered by COMBAT because it does not feature the same technology as the MAXUM bats. This VIGSL110 will not have the MAXUM sized sweet spot on it due to the fact that it will not have the same barrel length that is featured on the MAXUM. Because of the shorter barrel length, there will not be as good of a chance for maximum results unless you barrel up the ball exactly.
