With this B2 Ultra, COMBAT is delivering a bat design that has become a unicorn within the baseball bat market over the past few years. This B2 is built with a one-piece and all-composite design.

The composite material will make the bat feel lightweight and the one-piece design will provide a very stiff feel when the bat connects with a baseball. Over the past couple of seasons, it has been discovered that batters are truly appreciating a stiffer-feeling bat when hitting (i.e. bats that flex less between the barrel and handle). The batters have expressed that when swinging stiffer bats, it appears that all of the power from their swing is put into the exit velocity of the baseball.

Due to the lightweight feel, we believe that a large sampling of high school and college players will find this bat enticing. As long as you are desiring a bat that can be whipped through the hitting zone quickly, this B2 is bat to consider!

If your player is new to BBCOR, excellent choice! Whichbat Other

Pros: The Combat B2 Ultra has the fourth highest barrel-to-length ratio of the BBCOR models, making it exceptionally forgiving on mishits. Its true-path swing weight is slightly above average among its peers. This bat is an excellent fit for younger BBCOR players, scoring a 94/100 Player Fit for a 14 year old – 5’8”, 140lbs, and 22” arm length. It has exceptional feel for a broad range of physicalities for 14-16 year olds, with equal or better response than most BBCOR bats. Superb choice and impossible to beat at this price.

Cons: Bat does not fare as as other options for more mature players - e.g. 6'0", 180lbs, and 24" arm length 18 year old where it's Player Fit score drops to a (still respectable) 85/100.

Pleasantly Surprised by the COMBAT B2 Bobb Boetto Coach

Pros: I have the 32/29 Combat B2. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall balance and weight dispersion in this bat. This bat has really solid barrel pop and the ball jumps off the barrel nicely and performs well! The weight dispersion of this bat is very balanced very solid throughout. The taper from barrel to handle has a nice feel. This is a very forgiving bat. The flat grey paint and graphics make it great for players that don't like flashy bats. I would definitely recommend this bat.

Cons: Like most bats, you're going to get some sting from a ball off the hands but this bat doesn't give you that shock that many alloy bats do.

Great Bat Very Reasonably Priced Harley DeLano Parent

Pros: This bat is being used by my 16-year-old grandson who is thrilled with this bat. His first impression was how lightweight the bat felt. This is a result of the one-piece composite construction which is slightly end loaded. The large barrel provides a oversized sweet spot and has great pop on contact. The bat has a stiff feel which is preferable for my grandson, and he feels that the bat provides excellent exit velocity. This bat is extremely durable and for the price, provides great value. I very strongly recommend the Combat B2 Ultra BBCOR bat.

Cons: Taller batters may find the 33” length a little too short. Be sure to check sizing recommendations. The stiffness will give modest vibration on miss hits

Excellent Choice + Value Andy Coach

Pros: The Combat but from JustBats is an excellent choice for hitters of all ages that need a BBCOR Bat without breaking the bank. I found this bat to be very forgiving with great pop even on mishits. The bat feels light in hitters hands and helps them be quick to the baseball. Literally cannot go wrong with this stick given the price level and value.

Cons: Hitters can definitely feel the end loaded weight. Not a con for most of my hitters as they prefer this, but could definitely notice the end loaded weight in this bat.

Amazing BBCOR bat! Cason Meadows Player

Pros: Great bat! With an even better price. This was the cheapest composite bat I could find, yet it's one of the best bats I've ever hit with. Fairly balanced swing weight. Very little vibration even for a one-piece bat. This bat has a mega sweet spot. And this bat sounds amazing! It has a stiff feel which I really like and I feel like it gives the bat even more pop. A great bat for contact and power hitters alike. Huge sweet spot to make solid contact yet plenty of power to leave the park. JustBats has great customer service and extremely fast shipping. It shipped to me in two business days for free! Thanks to JustBats!

Cons: I can't speak to durability because I've only had the bat for three weeks, but it doesn't have a connector piece so that probably means it will last longer than a regular two-piece composite.

Pros: Amazing pop, flies off the barrel. Big barrel. Very soft and forgiving on mishits. I'm a 110 freshman and it's very easy to swing. And it's unbeatable for the price.

Pros: Don't let the low current price persuade you in thinking that this is a low quality, low performing option. My son is currently playing high school ball and has tried almost every bat brand and price category over the years. For him, we have learned that single piece alloy or composite bats fit his hitting style best and are also more durable. We have broken too many multi-piece bats and my son now prefers the stiffness of one piece. We rarely buy bats when they first come out and typically wait for at least a year of reviews (and a lower price). This bat fits the bill for both control (only slightly end-loaded) and hitting for distance....you can hit for average and for power. Great find with a great price. He has been using a 32" for over a year and loves it. Several on his team borrow it. He also already purchased the 33" to use just in case he steps up a size. He didn't want them to sell out.

Cons: The handle grip doesn't last long and will need to be replaced quickly. However, we've found that most grips aren't great quality and we average about 2-3 replacement grips per bat per season with the high reps he takes.

This COMBAT B2 Ultra BBCOR Baseball Bat: BBPAB2 is a slightly end loaded bat, which can be used by contact or power hitters. If you really have no chance to go deep, I would lean towards the Combat ATB. If you have a chance of going deep every once in a while, you could lean more towards the Ultra with a little end load. The Combat BBCOR bats have a massive sweet spot, and are one piece composites, so the contact hitter will benefit more with this bat than the power hitter.
