Description
The Brett Brothers entered the bat business with the goal of ensuring that coaches at all levels of baseball have access to superior quality composite wood bats that are cost effective. Consistency and durability were the primary factors when establishing their bat designs. The Brett Brothers have been involved in baseball their entire lives, through Bobby and John's Minor League careers to the Professional careers of Ken and George. The Brett Brothers know baseball. Even today baseball is an important part of their lives, with each brother being involved in their own way. George was a career .305 hitter with 3 Batting Titles, a 1985 World Series Ring and an induction to the Hall of Fame in 1999 to round out his 21 year career in Kansas City. Not only did he prove to be a consistent hitter he showed that he had the knowledge to succeed. The Brett Brothers understood that having reliable wood was an important component. This is why they implemented their 3-piece laminating system along with their patented Boa fiberglass reinforcement that is applied to the handle. The Maple Master MM110 is a solid one-piece bat turned from select maple stock. Brett Brothers: The Very Best in Baseball! The Maple Master is BBCOR Certified and legal for play in high school and college. Free Shipping!

Pros: I bought this bat back in January and have used it at all my practices and games. Has great pop and is very light weight. I have hit several off the handle and end of the bat and still holding up.
Cons: Will let you know when you don't hit it in the sweet spot.
Pros: Durability and weight balance.
Cons: Good pop, but not the best.
Pros: Very durable. Excellent pop and balance. When you hit the ball square it may sounds like it broke, but its in excellent shape.
Cons: None.
Pros: Excellent maple bat. Well made and great feel. Very good quality for the price. Bought it for My 15 year old son and he likes it better than the Mizuno maple bat.
Cons: none.
Pros: good pop, large sweet spot, very difficult to break, good balance
Cons: gloss chips and smudges easily but it doesn't affect its performancee
Pros: really good bat..have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it has really good pop
Cons: NADA
Pros: Great bat. I got my first use of this bat last week. So far I'm batting 1.000. Ball comes off the bat very nicely. Even after a few inside pitches the bat held up. It is a very nice light bat, which is good against fast pitchers. I would recommend this bat to anyone
Cons: Have to buy pine tar or something that gives grip to the bat
Pros: This bat is great! Feels solid and durable, you dont have to worry about it breaking. Great job with the looks of the bat. Ball just flys off the bat and for such a cheap price its better than $100+ bats with out a doubt.
Cons: Handle is a little slippery, just put tape on it or pine tar, or just wear batting gloves, its not a big deal just buy this bat!!!
Pros: Great looking bat and great value. Hope to break out of my slump!
Cons: None
Pros: Have used it in 10 games and is still holding up. Maple is very strong. Great pop. love this bat
Cons: Scratches easily and in need of pine tar. But to get rid of scratches just use nail polish remover works great makes bat look brand new.
Pros: Solid bat with great pop!
Cons: None
Pros: Good Pop, Hard to Break
Cons: Hits better after it is broken in a bit.
Pros: It's a great bat it has awesome pop the weight ratio is really good and the hitting surface is big
Cons: You want to buy more
Pros: Has great solid feel to it, really durable. This will be the 4th season with this bat. Have used in games, but mostly used for BP. Hit balls off the end and the handle and hasn't cracked at all. Definitely got my moneys worth.
Cons: none
Pros: i am writing again to say that I still have my bat and its still just as great as the first day out of the box...I love this bat!
Cons:
Pros: Great pop, Great balance,Works good with stick pine Tar, DURABLE
Cons: Everyone will want to use it, It scratches easily
Pros: Great pop, takes thousands of balls to break. you can hit the ball wrong 200 times and the grain wont even split. very sold. great bat all around.
Cons: thick handle, but other than that this bat is perfect
Pros: Excellent Bat, have owned it this season and has no damage yet. Great pop and balanced feel. At this price it can't be beat. I just ordered one more!
Cons: None, fully recommend it.
Pros: Durable as anything...used it for three years. Just broke. Really light bat too- as light a wood bat as you will find.
Cons: Barrel is very small. Little room for error- if you don't square up the ball, you're not getting a hit.
Pros: Very durable and has pop.
Cons: Not very light, and can sting if not held tight.
Pros: Bat has a great feel, and had good pop. Nice finish to it and very well balanced.
Cons: Handle is a bit tough to grip. I'd recommend using pine tar or tape on this bat. Also if you don't get good wood on a ball it will let you know. Several times my hands stung when hitting the ball. And it came in the wrong color.
Pros: I like how the bat was light and how much pop the bat had .
Cons: If the barrel of the bat was just a bit bigger this bat would be absolutely perfect.
Pros: Great bat, solid and strong sweet spot. Just bats does a great job with customer service too ! Terrific value for the price, a pro quality maple bat.....
Cons: Shows a few marks after a long session of hitting but the bat lasts and lasts !!
Pros: Great bat for durability. Seems like it will never break. My teams have used these forever as cage bats and all they do is shave down. If you are looking for durability, this is the bat. I have one that has lasted over 5 years of consistent batting practice on the field and in a cage.
Cons: None at all.
Pros: This bat is very light. I am a line drive over the infield guy and this bat is perfect for that. I am not the strongest guy but I still hit solid liners to the outfield with this bat. I wouldn't recommend it for a big power hitter because it's too light but for the line drive hitter, I highly recommend it.
Cons: Chips after a while.
Pros: Best wood bat out there! Indestructible Bat sounds incredible when you make solid contact
Cons: None
Pros: Gives you good hits when youj hit it on the sweet spot.
Cons: You will definitely want to use pine tar or tape on the handle. It's tough to grip. The weight in the bat isn't very balanced. Feels barrel-heavy.
Pros: this bat never has even chipped and great pop
Cons: you should definitely wear batting gloves with this bat
Pros: This bat has tons of pop. The two colors on the bat look nice together. It has a very nice feel to it. It is balanced beyond belief.
Cons: The barrel is very short.
Pros: good feel for the sweet spot. plus plenty of pop for a wood bat
Cons: none
Pros: thing has loads of pop just like baboo handed this thing to ga and he went deep like 7 times
Cons: doesnt come in different colors
Pros: Like the feel , looks good under the night lights ,and you don't have to put a bunch of power in the swing seems to just fly off.
Cons: had to put tape on handle a lil slick
Pros: Bought this bat after reading all the great reviews...since I was shipping this bat to my son who is playing in a summer wood bat league two states away..Justbats.com called to confirm the shipment address and legit purchase..thanks for being on your game Justbats and making that call to me to prevent CC fraud!!
Cons: none
Pros: I think this bat is overall one of the best wood bats you can have. I use this bat for batting practice and I love it.
Cons: None
Pros: Excellent weight and balance. Have had this bat for 3 seasons...about 90+ games. Taken plenty off the handle and off the end of the bat and it keeps going. It'll probably break eventually, but then I'll order another! I see comments about it letting you know when you don't hit the sweet spot, but then, so will any bat! Use Brett Wulfman for the dimple balls in the cages and it works awesome
Cons: None that I've found
Pros: ball moved good...my son broke on 4th swing as he got sawed off
Cons: see above
Pros: has a great lightweight feel and pop
Cons: none
Pros: Balanced swing, not end weighted. Solid Maple, very hard wood and extremely durable. Mine is going on 2 years, 40 games per year. The previous one went three years and only broke it in the batting cage when I hit a slow pitch on the end of the barrel. Have to get another one as my 15-year old son took mine!!
Cons: None for this bat - the Brett bamboo composites don't have quite as much pop and durability as this one from my experience but are still very good
Pros: Beautiful finish yet very durable
Cons: Handle a little thin but not worth complaining about
Pros: Skinny handle, Nice Pop, hit the ball 405 feet, Nice balanced light swing
Cons: nothing so far
Pros: Strong , seem indestructible. Had a few rounds of practice and a few games. Hit one off the end of the barrel and it held up fine. Good Pop. Pop is great with a good sound.
Cons: Feels barrel heavy. They advertise as a balanced bat, but it seems to be a little barrel heavy. It's not too bad, very livable. But then again it is a 2 1/2.
Pros: Well balanced bat Nice pop Sounds good when hit flush
Cons: None that we have found
Pros: extremely good pop. i’ve taken many swings with it for high school baseball and it hasn’t cracked a bit yet. so it’s an amazing bat
Cons: paint chips a little bit after a while, but not a big deal at all.
Pros: I ordered this for my 16yr old nephew who plays HS baseball. He has always hit batting practice with wood bats. This is his second maple bat and he says they are great. The bamboo bats are nice but they have a much smaller sweet spot compared to maple. Long story short, you can't go wrong with this bat, great price, great bat, 2 thumbs up!
Cons: None to current date/3 weeks in.
Pros: It's a good solid bat. Bought it for my 14 year old son and he loves everything about it.
Cons: Haven't got any yet.
Pros: great feel. The bat has great balance and fantastic pop! very impressed. Have been using the bats in game and for practice. Fantastic bat performance.....
Cons: one minor. The bat shipped with a small crack at the end into the barrel. It by far has not effected the performance at all nor can you feel the crack. It is in the grain of the bat.
Pros: Pop & balance. Just played in the Perfect Game underclassman event in Florida. Bat held up to a week of 80+ mph pitching. He hit very well with the bat.
Cons: None
Pros: Very well balanced. The ball flies off the bat. Gets pop for a wood bat. Way better than any wood bat over $100. For sure!!!
Cons: None
Pros: Had 31 went with 32 and 33 -Durable -Nice Pop -33 not used yet -32 getting all the swings Keep making good bats
Cons: Nothing
Pros: Purchased for 14 year old son. So far, so good. He seems to be making good solid contact, considering this is the his first drop 3. Not enough time to give final opinion yet.
Cons: None
Pros: Looked great- nice finish Balanced swing
Cons: Cannot give a higher "Overall Rating" since the bat broke during my son's 2nd game. Wood bats do break, I get it, but based on all these rave reviews here I expected it to last long enough to be able to give it an actual performance review. Very disappointed considering the price I paid. Will go back to Louisville Slugger.
Pros: Great bat for a 14u player for a number reasons. If you haven’t bought this bat and your shopping, debating and waisting time then make this bat your choice. As a coach I personally see the performance of most the top rated bats on the market. I buy at least 3 bats a yr for my 14 yr old son, and we play hardcore travel ball 12 months a yr. We enter a few wood bat tournaments throughout our seasons and we want to make sure we have as much of an edge as possible and this is my personal pick of our bat line up. To be honest I went on the site to buy another 31” and they are out of stock. Go figure ?? but is a must buy and company need to buy more immediately!!!
Cons: Company not keeping up with stock I need a 31” maple master like yesterday
Pros: Pop
Cons: Knob
Pros: Solid Well balanced Pop
Cons: Sweet spot appears small
Pros: Well balanced
Cons: 1st one broke
Pros: Seemed to be a pretty decent bat with ok pop. Looks good.
Cons: Bat features state durability. Wrong. Bat broke on their "increased durability handle". Only used for one tournament and a couple batting practices.
Pros: Feels balanced, good pop.
Cons: Interesting that there is no mention it’s Made in China.
Pros: When my son first told me that he was hitting farther with this bat than with his 2020 Meta, I thought he was crazy. Yesterday, I saw first hand that he was right. He took BP with both bats, and was consistently hitting it farther with the Brett Bros.
Cons: Does have some sting when he's jammed, but that's to be expected.
Pros: Something about this wood bat got my son real excited about baseball. He is starting high school and this is his first wood bat. Everyone on the team loves it and he is hitting really good with it
Cons: None at this time
Pros: Outstanding bat for the price. Good balance and plenty of pop. My 14 year-old grandson uses it mainly for batting practice especially when temps are cold. Can see slight thread dimples, but after thousands of reps the finish is still in good shape.
Cons: Made in China.
Pros: This bat is easy to swing, great whip and durability. Although the barrel sweetspot is small and unforgiving on mis-hits, when you square the ball up its hot. In truth, moving from metal to this bat was a lesson is patients.. due to this, I am more selective with pitches and has made me a better hitter.. metal's notoriously huge sweetspots allows hitters to swing at less desirable pitches without consequences compared to wood.
Cons: The barrel is tapered making a small barrel profile (length) .. which creates a small "sweetspot" which is unforgiving on mis-hits. Due to this: transitioning from metal may be difficult at first. Stick with it, and you will improve your overall hitting
Pros: Price durability overall exit velocity performance clean looking
Cons: Maybe recommend power guys go up half a size mile arrived yesterday w 33.5 engraved on knob 31 ounces 2.5 drop fast swing speed possible to do some thing 2 early to kbow
Pros: Easy to make contact and a double machine. Fairly balanced but uncupped so slight end weight. Will not break!
Cons: Smaller barrel. Slightly thick handle at top hand for me.
Pros: Durable. Swings more like a 271 sweet spot has some gas light swinging with a bit of end load
Cons: small sweet spot makes for a great batting practice.. if you do not hit the sweet spot. you will know it. mis hits vibrate and cant sting the hands
Pros: Feels good and looks good
Cons: Bat is cracking already less than 10 hits
Pros: I’ve had this bat for over 2 years. Mostly used as my game bat. Solid feel, slight end loaded feel because it’s uncupped, but swing balance is great. Great pop, especially when squared up. Short sweet spot, but if you do tee work with the bat and bp, you’ll figure out the sweet spot. I’m a big guy, but I like the light feel to it when I swing this bat. I feel like I can let the ball travel deeper because I have confidence in the swing feel of this bat. In this same time frame I’ve bought two Trinity wood bats and a Max Bat and this bat has outlasted those 3 “high quality “ bats!
Cons: Finish could be better, more color options would be nice and maybe a different turn model option, like an I13 would be cool to see with this bat.
Pros: Bought this for 13 yr old son after his other wood broke. He's playing 14U and loves hitting with wood in games and in practice. He loves the way the bat looks and feels. He says it's a little end loaded but has learned to hit with it. The ball just seems to go off of the bat too!
Cons: None yet
Pros: This bat has good pop for the price tag you are paying, Nice looking bat The handle feels good
Cons: The bat did not last more than 300 hits, I used it to hit off a tee, and in games, it broke in two after I hit a ball off the end of the bat. I must have hit only 300 balls; I probably hit 290 balls off the tee and 10 in a game. The bat did have some weird dents when I got the bat, so I'm assuming I got a lemon. I purchased a second bat to see if I got a lemon or if the bat is not as durable as most people are claiming it to be.
Pros: Hits bombs and is well balanced.
Cons: The taper looks a little weird but trust me, this bat packs punch.
Pros: Solid bat, not easy to break. When you hit the ball on the sweet spot it travels. Really good feel for where the barrel is throughout the swing. ball still travels well when you don't catch it on the barrel
Cons: Sweet spot is very small, so a majority of your hits are not off the barrel. When you square it up the ball travels it is just difficult to square up most of the time. Very small barrel for an end loaded bat. Very stiff feel to the bat, really no flex. rings your hands up.
Pros: Very good looking bat. Great pop, especially for the price range. Son used it this weekend in the Crystal Coast Wood Bat World Series and absolutely raked. Hit several doubles, Almost hit his first home run on a high school field, hit off the fence with the wood bat and came through each time the team needed him. If you barrel it up, the ball flies. He has used it in two tournaments so far, three games in (1) tournament and (6) games in the CCWB , plus a couple of weeks of hitting in cage and bat only has a few ball marks. Overall I am very impressed with the bat and my son definitely gives it two thumbs up. I don't believe you will go wrong with this bat.
Cons: I got the 110 model cause it was supposed to be light and balanced. This one has a thin handle and is more endloaded than I expected. However, once my son got used to how it swings it has not slowed him down and the endload definitely puts some mass to the ball. So this is not really a con. Just wanted others to be aware this does have a slightly more end loaded feel than the 110 models are supposed to have.
Pros: My son is going into his second year of college and played in a wood bat league this summer. First time ever playing games with a wood bat. I ordered a Maple Master and a Maple Bamboo. The bamboo broke at the handle in the second weekend. The Maple Master made it through the season, 22 games. He loved the pop and the feel of the MM110. He led the team in doubles and hit two HR's later in the season. This bat is just right for high school and college players that are used to a balanced swinging metal bat and are transitioning to a wood bat league. Great bang for the buck and very durable.
Cons: Because of the long taper, which makes it very balanced, the barrel and sweet spot are pretty small. However, this can also be good a thing. If a kid can barrel balls in BP and games with this bat, imagine what they can do when they get a metal bat back in their hands.
Pros: Well balanced and light when swinging it and has good pop.
Cons: My teammates said the barrel is smaller than theirs and looks like it but it’s a BBCOR bat. My dad got it for me so maybe he didn’t realize it.
Pros: This bat is affordable, durable and has tons of pop! I play in Men's Sunday League Baseball and I'm crushing the ball with this bat! I'm hitting liners, doubles, triples and Dingers!! Hot ?? bat!!! I kept breaking expensive Marucci, Victus bats but this Brett Bat is indestructible! This bat is the only Wood bat I use! Highly recommend it.
Cons: No Cons!!! I just wish I would've bought one sooner!

About the Brand

The Brett Brothers “entered the bat business with the goal of ensuring that coaches at all levels of baseball have access to superior quality composite wood bats that are cost effective." The Brett Brothers have been involved in baseball their entire lives. We are four brothers and all of us played professional ball at one time. Bobby and John played in the Minor Leagues, and Ken and George together put in 31 years in the Major Leagues.
Not only did we play baseball because we were good, we truly loved the game. Even today we closely follow the sport. George still works for the Kansas City Royals. Ken has been a broadcaster for 11 years with Fox. Bobby runs our professional franchises here in Spokane, the baseball Indians and the hockey Chiefs. The oldest brother John is a frequent visitor here to see his brothers and watch our teams play.
Like most baseball families, it all started in a small Southern California town call El Segundo. The boys are all about two years apart, and we had some kind of sporting event about every night. I remember most of our family meals were hot dogs, and everything was on the fly. Our parents were always there to cheer for us, and our lives were generally very happy.
Ken was the first to sign a pro contract at age 17. He was the fourth player taken in the annual draft by the Boston Red Sox. When their scout Joe Stephenson came to sign him, our dad said, "the one you really want is the skinny, barefooted one, George." George in 1966 was all of 12 years old.
If you move up the clock to 1971, George was a senior, and Joe Stephenson desperately wanted him to be Boston's #1 pick. The Red Sox said no, and the Kansas City Royals took George in round #2. The rest is history. Ken played 11 years for numerous teams. George turned out to be exactly the player our late father envisioned. He was a 3-time winner of the Batting Title in three different decades. He was very consistent, and always played the game very hard. He was the greatest Royal, and still makes his home in Kansas City. In the summer of 1999, he was awarded Baseball's highest award, election to the Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
In the spring of 1998, the Tridiamond Bat Company needed a place to "try out" their new baseball bats. Because the Bretts owned the only local professional team, an association was formed. When Tridiamond got both NCAA and Major League approval to sell bats, they needed some baseball help. At this time we bought into the company and changed the name to Brett Bats.
