Pros: Awesome bat for multi- purpose use (League play, soft toss with league ball, and batting cage). They're heavier than metal bats helping to develop & strenghten the ever so important & often overlooked forearm muscles en route to a powerful swing. Very little sting on off-center hits. These Bamboo bats are like a timex watch, they take a beating & just keep on ticking! Money well spent. No regrets.
Cons: NONE! You will not regret having made the investment in a Bamboo bat. Will outlast any other type of wood bat handsdown. Only downside is, as with any bat, if the weather gets cold & drops under 65 degrees, it will sting!
Pros: GREAT bat!! my son used this for little league in his last 2 years. His coaches also seemed to consistantly pick up THIS bat during practices to hit infield/outfield to the kids. I used it a bit in a cage and liked the weight, aprox -5/-6, and the solid feel. My son liked that it seemed to drive thru the ball during games, rather than give that rebound feel, common with The super lightweight -10 & -12 metals all over the market now.
Cons: due to the fact that its closer to normal wood weight, and its not a bat with BBCOR spring going with the ball strike, so your child probably wont be popping homers with it like a $200-&400 spring bat, but solid hits and low price are a bargain in my eyes
Pros: Very solid bat, great balance, my 9yo loves it. After 100 pitches it showed the ball marks which I think helps you see where you're making contact. The handle is thicker than other wood bats which should help with the occasional hit close to the hands. I bought the 28" since my son is using a 29/19 to help adjust for the weight, it was the right decision. Traditional wood bat sound which I love.
Cons: No cons with the bat at all. Shipping wasn't what I expected. It came in a triangular box with only a thin sheet of foam around the barrel of the bat. Bounced around in transit but was unharmed. As far as the sticker is concerned, some WD40 sprayed over the residue took it right off.
Pros: As my son has gotten bigger and aged a little we decided to go with a slightly longer bat and for the price is was worth a shot. He loves it. Barrelling everything up well as far as I can tell and it seems to be on the heavier side of the weight range. He likes hitting with it

It would be up to the player's preference if a batting grip would be needed on the handle of this BamBooBat Bamboo Wood Youth Baseball Bat (HNBUY Natural/Royal). That being said, I would imagine most players would choose to put a grip on the bat.

How much does the 31 inch weigh?
Asked by justhitit
The 31" BamBooBat Bamboo Wood Bat will weigh approximately 25 to 28 oz.
I had arguments at the beginning of each of the past 3 little league seasons because the coaches consistently tried to say, for a number of reasons, that they wouldn't let my son use this bat because it didn't have a BBCOR sticker on it. It never came with one, and to my knowledge wood bats didn't have BBCOR ratings as they were not composites designed to give and spring. If this bat is BBCOR rated why was there no sticker to verify this fact and why would BBCOR be applied to a wooden bat? Perhaps I am not understanding the whole BBCOR rating and it's pertinence here.
Asked by Dad14
First of all, youth bats like the BamBooBat Bamboo Wood Bat: HNBUY are not eligible for BBCOR certification because BBCOR only applies to Adult bats. Second, Adult bamboo bats, do in fact, require a BBCOR stamp or sticker. NCAA and NFHS rules state that wood bats do not require a BBCOR stamp, but technically, bamboo is a grass, not a wood. Thus, all bamboo bats require a BBCOR stamp for use in NCAA, NFHS, and any other league that follows these rules.
Is this bat approved for high school play
