Pros: Light weight, well balanced
Cons: the vibration is the only flaw
Bat Pack Anderson Flex and Rawlings 5150 -10 Senior League Baseball Bats: SL17FLEXXL and SL7534
* Click on each bat in the bat pack to get individual features for that bat
Pros: Light weight, well balanced
Cons: the vibration is the only flaw
Pros: The cost, the performance, the return policy. I planned to send it back but my son won't let me. It is half the price of similar bats but out performs them. I would give straight 5 stars but only had it for 2 months so too soon to know.
Cons: It doesn't have the sound of another brand of alloy bat.
Cons: My son used the bat for a season and I just didn't think it had zero pop. Balls that flew off another bat, were just soft fly balls. I think this might be a good batting cage bat, but not great for game use.
Pros: Great pop, I hit so good with this bat, It was great the first season and I am still using it because it has a lot of durability and the pop, It feels great when you hit the ball, If I get a hold of it the ball goes really far,
Cons: Nothing really, it vibrates sometimes
Pros: Solid sweet spot, good pop, and durability.
Cons: Slight stinging in repetitive batting cage work.

The 2017 Anderson Flex -10 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL17FLEXXL is a one-piece alloy bat much like the Marucci CAT 7. Both bats will make the traditional "ping" sound on impact but whether or not one feels they have similar sound would be one of personal opinion.

The 10 bats are sometimes heavier. Is the 28 oz true weight? Lighter? Heavier?
Almost all bats are generally a touch heavier than their listed weight, anywhere from .2-1oz heavier. This is due to things like the grip tape and adhesives/glue being added after the manufacturer officially weighs the bat.
How does this bat compare the the new CAT 7 (27"/17 oz)?
Although the bats feature a similar one-piece, all-alloy design; the bats will be different for their intention of use. This 2017 Rawlings 5150 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL7534) is a Senior League/Youth Big Barrel Bat that is meant for use with kid pitch baseball. The CAT 7 Junior Big Barrel bat will be meant for use with coach pitch or machine pitch leagues. I would recommend getting the bat that best goes with the level of baseball he is playing.
What's the difference between the SL7510 and the SL7534? Is it only the barrel size?
The 2017 Rawlings 5150 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL7534 has a 2 3/4" barrel diameter. The SL7510 has a 2 5/8" barrel diameter. The barrel diameter is the only difference.
