Marucci CAT6 GEN 2 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC62

The CAT6 GEN 2 bat combines all the elite features of a traditional CAT 6 but with one major difference. The exclusive and limited fierce red colorway. You'll not only turn heads when you take this bat out of your bag but you'll also turn on baseballs when you step into the box.

Bat Benefits

Marucci raises the stakes again with unbelievable new technology in the CAT6. Through endless field testing with the top players in America, Marucci discovered that vibration in the top hand is the most common complaint amongst amateur baseball players. Marucci has acquired a patented new anti-vibration technology that blows the competition away. They hired noted bat scientist Dr. Daniel A. Russell to do some lab testing against the top bats on the market. The results were shocking. He found that the vibration dampening rate on the CAT6 is 5.6 times higher than the next closest competitor! For the player, this means that they can step up to the plate worry-free with one thing on their mind; blasting one over the fence! This is literally the smoothest swinging bat ever produced. Experience the difference of this one-piece bat made from the most responsive alloy in the industry. Marucci: Game Tested. Player Approved.

This Marucci CAT6 GEN 2 BBCOR Baseball Bat features a -3 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter, and is BBCOR Certified making it legal for high school and collegiate play. Additionally, the Marucci CAT 6 carries a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Buy your Marucci baseball bat today with Free Shipping!

Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper! My son didn’t want to use it right away in a game. He wanted to “break it in”. I brought it to his Freshmen game and he ended up using it in a game the day he got it and had two hits including a double. He loves the bat!

Great Marucci! Dan Lewis Parent

Pros: I bought this bat for my son and he is hitting bombs with this bat. He had the Buster Posey Marucci 34/30 and liked a lot. But the Gen 2 Marucci Cat 6 33/30 has a ton of pop. If your looking for a bat this is the one.

Cat6 Cal778 Other

Pros: Really good pop the ball seems to jump off of the barrel of the bat and even the high neck The big sweet spot really helps to drive pitches into gaps and bring runs around or start a rally

Cons: Small vibration but honestly it’s not that bad if you are getting it really low on the neck that’s when it vibrates but honestly if you are getting it down on the neck it’s because you didn’t throw get through the zone fast enough on an inside pitch

Can't beat it for the $ dschamp Parent

Pros: My grandson is a long time Marucci CAT fan. He has been playing on club teams since 8-years old and his last Marucci was a USSSA -5 CAT9. This year he moved up to BBCOR and decided to go with the highly rated Demarini VooDoo I. Good bat, but its a ticking time bomb before it breaks so a reliable back-up was in order. Based on the BatBros review of the Marucci CAT series we grabbed a CAT6 for a steal. WOW! What an awesome bat for the price! Grandson was immediately hitting bombs and his smile told the story. Don't have to worry about breaking the VDI anymore because it won't be leaving the bag!
