Description

The newest addition to Louisville Slugger's fastpitch lineup has arrived! The PXT X18 series is ready to set itself apart as one of the best softball bats in the game. Cutting edge technologies, innovative features, and memorable cosmetics combine to forge these never before seen, 100% composite fastpitch bats. It all starts with the revolutionary PWR STAX technology which evenly disburses the softball load on contact across the entire surface of the barrel for a powerful performance. With a multi-layered construction, the PXT is specifically designed to transform player generated energy into ridiculous results right out of the wrapper. Louisville Slugger has also manufactured the new lightweight X-Cap that significantly increases swing speed, lengthens the barrel, and creates a larger sweet spot than ever before. These three-piece, composite softball bats are brought together by the patented TRU3 connection piece that helps eliminate vibration while offering a luxurious feel on contact. As if that isn't enough, a premium X-Grip comes pre-wrapped around the standard 7/8 inch fastpitch handle to provide a medium tack touch with unmatched comfort. Louisville Slugger: The Most Trusted Name In Fastpitch!

This model, the Louisville Slugger PXT Fastpitch Softball Bat (WTLFPPX18A10), features a popular drop 10 length to weight ratio, a standard 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter, and a power balanced swing weight that is recommended for elite hitters. Before you buy, know that the PXT is approved for play in USSSA, ASA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. Not impressed so far... Mason parent

Pros: Good looking graphics

Cons: Appears to have very little pop out of the wrapper. Bat also feels heavier than the 2017 LXT 31/21 that my daughter has been swinging. And yes both are the same advertised weight. I think that I am going to return if (if I can) and go buy another 2016 or 2017 LXT...very disappointed. I have purchased 6 Louisville Sluggers (Xeno and LXT) and this one appears to be the weakest of the bunch.

Great Bat! CoachP53 coach

Pros: The new PXT from slugger is not only a beautiful product, but it has the performance to back it up. This bat, as stated, is designed for elite players that can generate enough bat speed to get the most out of this new barrel design. Players on my daughters team range from speedy slappers, to on base liners, to power hitters. The players who hit for power, my daughter included, are seeing greater distance out of this product compared with their LXT and Xeno models. Average bat speed hitters are seeing equal performance during tee work, but at game speeds are really seeing this bat open up. The design of this bat isn't going to yield amazing results when hitting off a tee or doing front toss drills...this bat shows its true glory when the ball starts coming in hot, just like in a game. I have no doubt this product will be a winner this year!

Cons: Softer swinging players on our team are not getting as much performance as our stronger hitters.

Great Bat E22 parent

Pros: Bought this bat a few weeks ago. At first we thought there may be a problem because we expected the same "out of the wrapper" explosion that we had from the 2016 LXT. There is a break in period. My daughter is a power hitter and just put her 4th over the fence this past weekend since she started hitting with this bat and we are just now starting to hear a consistent pop/crack instead of a dull thud. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because, as with her LXT, I feel the wrap on the handle should be higher quality. The PXT is already showing wear and she's only had it a short time. Granted, she doesn't use batting gloves so maybe holding it a bit tighter is causing some of the problem, but still, for the price, I feel a higher quality wrap should be used. Other than that very small issue, the bat is awesome!! Highly recommend!!

Cons: Grip

Great Purchase Mike M coach

Pros: Daughter is 12yrs old and has been working with a batting coach. From the start we could hear and she could feel the difference. The PXT has great pop and a large sweet spot. There is a noticeable difference in the speed of the ball off her bat and we are very much looking forward to the fall season with the PXT bat. After her first game with the new bat, multiple parents/players were asking to borrow her bat because they could notice the difference in the exit speed of the ball.

Cons: We were looking for a -11 because of her size, but went with the -10 and just having her choke up and keep working on her strength. Otherwise we are very happy with the PXT.

Major Improvement EGLD97 parent

Pros: Using the PXT, my daughter was able to take her year over year slugging % from .349 to .568 Perfect weight and performance for her swing and body size. Once broken in properly, it has a lot of pop! Overall, very happy with this bat!!

Cons: Bat performance is not there out of the wrapper. This bat requires a significant amount of break in to get it game ready. Not sure why they can't put a quality grip on a $400 bat? Grip wore out quickly and had to be replaced.

Top Performer CoachMiner555 coach

Pros: We tested this bat with a bunch of other sluggers, demarinis, Ghost and Quattros and this was our favorite performer. All bats were provided by our local dealer and were fully broken in. Sound wise this thing had a great ring to it and feel wise it was the best reducer of sting in the group. Majority of our girls went with this bat with a few opting for the -11 deMarini and one girl liked the Ghost. Our team is a Slugger team and that is what we see at most fields, so you know it's good.

Pros: Good looking bat

Cons: My daughter is 16 and a power hitter and has always loved her LXT bats. She has broke 3 of them mainly from over use. She tried the PXT and does not like it. Went back to LXT. We are going to sell the PXT.

Not a safe purchase Dan coach

Pros: Great looking bat (Looks don't improve average or power). It has good feel. Pop is pro and con. Great pop if you hit the small sweet spot.

Cons: Very inconsistent bat to bat. Im a fairly high level hitting coach. I have had 4 different players in with this bat and all 4 bats acted completely different. One completely dead, one mostly dead the shattered, 2 with great pop on a tiny sweet spot. If you hit the sweet spot it will go a long ways but hard to find it. For the money stick with the safer LXT, Xeno, or go to Demarini CF series.

Pros: The bat has amazing pop I've been swinging it in practice and it sounds great, overall it's a good choice of purchase.

Cons: Bat seems a little bit heavier than other bats I've used in the past, you have to be a strong hitter the weaker hitters will not be able to drive as easy.

Power Hitters Only S. St. Martin Parent

Pros: This is an outstanding bat for a power hitter. Since purchase date, my daughter has approximately 13 out of the park homeruns between scrimmages and practices. Please ask yourself if the person this bat is intended for is a power hitter. If they're not I recommend the Xeno. Last year we had great results with the Louisville Slugger Xeno, however, as she grows taller(5'11) and stronger we adjust.

Cons: No cons!

Pros: Looks

Cons: No pop to this bat. My daughter switched from a Demarini CF-8 to this PXT. She went 2/3 way thru the high school season and said to me, this bat has no pop. So we did a bucket of balls with this bat, then back to her Demarini. On average, the balls went 30 feet further in the air with her older used up Demarini bat. Maybe we got a lemon, but I would not buy this bat.

How long would it take for the 30/20 PXT to ship to Missouri, and do you have one in stock?
Steve
We do have the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 in stock. If the order is placed before 8pm central time, the bat would most likely arrive at your location the following business day with free ground shipping.
Logan
What is the major difference between this bat and the LXT?
Dave S
This 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat (WTLFPPX18A10) will differ from the LXT as the PXT will require some sufficient break-in time before showing top performance (LXT is hot out of wrapper). The PXT will feature a little more barrel weight than the LXT (you could call it more of a "power hitter" bat). As well, the PXT will have more of a true composite sound.
Ben
What would you consider a sufficient amount of break in time for the PXT? We're half way through the high school season. Would it do any good to use it this season?
mike
To break in the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 we would recommend taking 150-250 swings off a tee or soft toss at about 60% max swing speed. After each swing one will want to rotate the barrel a 1/4 turn to ensure even break in. One could certainly get this bat game ready in a short amount of time and ready for game use even if the player's season is already at the half way point.
Cameron
Would a 10 or 11 year old have a strong enough swing to benefit from the PXT or is the LXT more age appropriate?
Brown
Due to the end-loaded swing weight, I would be a little hesitant to suggest a 10 or 11 year old to go with the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat (WTLFPPX18A10). To get a more balanced bat that would allow a player to swing quicker, I would suggest going with the LXT.
Ben
One of the answers to a question about the PXT bat is that the PXT bat has an end-loaded swing weight. Is that also true for the LXT bat?
Jason
This 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat (WTLFPPX18A10) does have an end-loaded swing weight. The LXT will feature a balanced swing feel and will not be end-loaded.
Ben
We have been DeMarini for years. Wanting to try something new. What size would my 11 year old need if she is 4'5 70 pounds? She hits with a 30 19 oz now.
Charissa Robison
I would recommend going with a 30'' 20 oz in the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10.
Max
Trying to decide between the LXT and the PXT 33/-9. My daughter is a freshman in college playing ball. Thoughts? She hits for average not for power.
DLC
The 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 features more of an end-loaded swing weight in comparison to the 2018 Louisville Slugger LXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPLX18A10 which features a very balanced swing weight. The PXT will also require some sufficient break-in time before showing top performance while the LXT will be hot out of the wrapper. Typically, the PXT is recommended for a more power hitting player so the LXT might be the better option for your player.
Dan
My daughter is 16 about 5"5' 130lbs. She has never been considered a power hitter, but does hit the ball hard with the 32/22 LXT. Would the PXT help her at all with power? What are you thoughts?
Hud2019
It really is just going to come down to personal preference and what your daughter is going to be the most comfortable with. The 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 does feature a Power Balanced Swing Weight which power hitters tend to prefer.
Carter
My daughter had been swinging a DeMarini since 8U, about to start 12U, and looking into switching over to Louisville. She swings a 28'17 oz end load as of now, and coach is saying its too small for her 4'7' height at 70 lbs. What size bat would you recommend, and would you go with either the Xeno, LXT, or PXT (PXT preferred )?
Rob K.
We would probably recommend a 30" length for her height and weight. Any of those three options would be a great choice from Louisville Slugger, as all seem to have excellent performance and have been selling very well for us.
Kyle J.
My daughter will turn 14 in September; she is 5'2" tall and weighs 130 lbs. She is playing on a 16U team. I have been looking at the PTX bat. Would it be best to get the 32" bat for her?
deer slayer
With the specifications you provided, the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 in 32" / 22oz. would be a good choice for your daughter.
Daveron
My daughter is 5'7" 110 lbs and entering high school. Currently using an Easton Fs3 Torq in 32'' 20oz. I think its time to move her up in size and quality. She can hit for power and gets her hands through the zone quickly. Can one hop balls off 200' fences consistently. Her biggest issue is not getting her hands rolled over at contact. Considering trying out an end weighted bat like the Insane or PXT to see if the feel helps her complete her swing. What do you think and what size should she go with?
Allen
I would recommend going with the 32'' 22 oz in the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 based upon your daughters height and weight.
Max
My daughter plays 14U. She is 13 years old, 4"10-1/2' and weighs 126 lbs. She used a LXT 30' 20 oz. until it lost its pop, now she is using a Stealth 33' 22 oz. and doing okay. Wanting to go back to a Slugger, what would you suggest?
concerned dad
If your player had success with the LXT, I would go back to that model as the PXT will be a little end loaded and heavier to swing. Based on her size, I would suggest a 32" 2018 Louisville Slugger LXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPLX18A10.
Logan
What's the difference in -8 and -10? Is the -10 better for power hitters? Is the PXT the best Louisville Slugger bat?
RONELL
The -8 model of the LS PXT is certainly better designed for a power hitter. The 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 is also a bat best designed for a power hitter but one who seeks a lighter length to weight ratio. Besides the obvious difference of the -8 being 2 ounces heavier than the -10 model of the PXT, one should not see anything different as the barrel length will be relative across the two different models.
Cameron
What would be the best bat for my daughter? She is 5’5'' and weighs about 165-170. She is a power hitter. She has a Demarini CF8 slapper now in a 33/22. I am looking at purchasing her a Louisville. Which one would you suggest? Or would you suggest another bat for her?
Dee
Based on her height and weight, I would recommend getting the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 in a 34''. The PXT would be a great choice for her as it is a power balanced model.
Tori
How does this bat compare with the DeMarini CFX 2018. Debating between the two for may daughter. 12 years old, 5'9" 130lbs. More of a power hitter but can slap as well. Not sure which route to go.
Eric M
The largest difference between the 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 and the DeMarini CFX 2018 will be the Power Balanced swing weight, which can give stronger players more of an end weight to provide more mass hitting the ball. Typically, it can help benefit physically strong players with the slightly power loaded.
Max
What is the difference between the LXT and this bat (PXT)?
Scott
The 2018 Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 will feature what is called a power balanced swing weight making this bat more ideal for power hitters. The LS LXT model will be the most balanced bat they offer. As well, the composite barrel materials used in the bats will differ.
Cameron
My daughter is almost 11 and she uses and loves her Easton Ghost 30"/20 oz and uses it well for how small she is. I want to get her an alternative to try and keep on hand that she will also love. I think the PXT maybe but not sure between the PXT, LXT, or Xeno. What do you think?
Tyler
Any of those 3 models will be an excellent choice and all perform very well. I would lean more towards either the Louisville Slugger Xeno or the LXT as the PXT has a slightly more end loaded feel that is generally designed for older, stronger players.
Kyle J.
My daughter is 16 and a sophomore. She is 6'2" and is a power hitter. We go through 2 LXTs every year. She currently uses a 33 drop 10. Will the PXT slow down her swing speed? Is the PXT more durable than the LXT? Which bat would you recommend.
Gary Pfundt
The Louisville Slugger PXT -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPPX18A10 will feature an end loaded swing weight that would not necessarily slow down swing speed with the player specs listed. This bat may would have about the same durability as the -10 LXT options. A suggestion would be to move to a heavier -9 bat, like the Louisville Slugger LXT -9 Fastpitch Softball Bat: WTLFPLX19A9.

About the Brand

In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.

After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.

The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.

The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.

Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.

Questions and Answers (23)

Have a question about the Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is there a real difference between this bat and the Easton FS3 FP16S312? If so what? My daughter currently uses the FP16S312 31in drop 12, is there a benefit or harm going to a lighter bat? My daughter is 5-11 and weighs 81 pounds.
Mike
The main difference between the 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17HL12) and the 2016 Easton FS3 CXN ZERO Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP16S312) is the type of composite used. The Hyperlight uses the HYPERLITE Composite while the FS3 uses the IMX Advanced Composite Barrel. They are very comparable in feel and performance. It is really just personal preference if she wants to go with the lighter option. There is not necessarily any benefit or harm, just what that individual player prefers.
Carter
I purchased the FS3 last year for my daughter in 28"/16 oz. It actually weighed right at 18 oz. As well, she complained that it stung her hands and it was heavy. (1) Is the Hyperlite closer to the listed weight? (2) Is the Hyperlite forgiving (in regard to vibration reduction)?
Mike
(1) It is almost industry standard that bats will have a static weight around 0.5 oz to 1.5 oz over the listed weight (sometimes even more). I would imagine that this 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17HL12) will have a static weight that is at least 1.5 oz over the listed weight. (2) Typically, the 2-piece bats do a solid job of limiting vibration. As well, we haven't gotten any bad remarks yet on vibration being emitted from this bat on miss-hits.
Ben
Does it come in composite 33 x 23 and 2 1/4?
hailey bop
The 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is a -12 bat, so a 33" would weigh 21 ounces. The 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is a composite bat, and features a 2 1/4" barrel diameter.
Logan
I have a 14 and 16 year old who are playing high school, 5"5 and weigh 140 to 160 lbs. What bat would you suggest?
Dean
We would recommend a 33"/21 ounce 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 for both payers.
Carter
I have a 15 year old who is 5'4' 108 lbs. Playing freshman high school softball. What bat would you recommend?
liv
Based off the information you've provided, I would recommend the 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 in a 32/20. If you think this bat will be too light, I would recommend the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11 which also features a two-piece, fully composite design, but will be one ounce heavier.
Dan
I have an 8 1/2 year old who is about 4'10" tall and roughly 65 lbs. What size/weight would she need?
Britt
We would probably suggest a 30" length for her height and weight. As for weight of the bat, we can't really recommend that as things like strength and other factors affect that, but generally -10 to -12 are the most common drops for that age.
Kyle J.
My daughter is 10 y/o and is 58" and 105 lbs. She currently uses a 30" -12 aluminum bat. Her bat speed is not great but we're working on getting more lower body action into her swing. We are considering this bat or the Easton Stealth Flex FP17SF11 at 31" length. Any recommendations?
JP
Based on what you have told us about your daughter and her height and weight we would recommend a 31"/19 ounce 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 for her.
Carter
My daughter used an Easton CXN 30 drop 12. last year. She is in 8th grade grew a couple of inches and needs a new bat. While still on the small side (4"9' and 96 lbs) she has a really sound swing and very good power for her size. We are looking for a bat with serious power to help her pop. Thinking of the Hyperlite 32 drop 12. Thoughts?
Joe
This 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is a solid option for your player. However, I would recommend going with a heavier option if you are looking for additional power. Maybe check out the 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17SF11.
Tyler
My daughter is 12 years old, 5'5, and 95lbs. Do you recommend this bat or the Louisville Xeno Plus?
Ron
Based off the information you've provided, I would recommend swinging a 32" bat. Both the 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 and the 2017 Louisville Slugger XENO Plus Fastpitch Softball Bat: FPXN170 are excellent options. I would take your players strength into account when deciding between these two bats. Both the Hyperlite and the Xeno Plus feature two-piece, composite construction with balanced swing weights. However, the Hyperlite will be two ounces lighter than the Xeno Plus.
Dan
My daughter will turn 11 in June and this will be her 1st year playing fastpitch softball. She's approximately 5'3" and 130 lbs what bat would you recommend?
1st time hitter
I would recommend the 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 in a 32 inch bat length. I think the -12 drop weight will benefit a player just starting out because of the lighter feel.
Dan
My daughter is 11, and she currently uses a 29'' 17 oz. I want to upgrade her bat. I was wondering will this bat with its weight have a faster swing even though it weighs 1 oz more than her old bat? She is 55' tall and weighs 60 lbs. She is very lightweight, and needs a faster swing with pop for her size.
Bella
The 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is a two-piece, evenly balanced bat so it can be very beneficial to someone who needs help with swing speed. Since you are moving her up in weight, I would recommend staying at a 29'' bat. As long as she is strong enough to handle the extra ounce, it will definitely be beneficial to have a balanced bat with some extra weight.
Tori
Do you recommend this bat in a 30" or the Xeno -11 in a 28"?
clint
Both bats are excellent models, but I would probably lean towards the Louisville Slugger Xeno over the Easton Hyperlite myself, but both are good choices.
Kyle J.
My granddaughter is 11 yrs, 5'4" 110 lbs. She uses a Rawlings Storm. She's getting the bat on the ball every time up but if they play back she's having a problem getting the ball out of the infield.
gerry
The 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is a great bat that we have received really good feedback on. I would also recommend she use a 32'' bat if she is not already.
Tori
I bought this bat for my daughter at Christmas and it has a rattle inside. Does that mean it is cracked?
Pat
This 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17HL12) will feature a full 12 month manufacturer's warranty period from Easton. The bat isn't cracked, but rattles are covered under that warranty period. If your bat was purchased from JustBats, please call us at 866-321-2287 and we can help you start the warranty process with Easton.
Ben
Is this a good bat for my 12U going into 14U? I don't want to buy a bat she outgrows in 1 season.
softball mom
I think the 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17HL12) would be a good option for your 12U player, especially if she is more comfortable with a lighter bat. If you anticipate your player to grow in the next few years, you might consider getting a heavier bat, like this 2017 Easton Stealth Flex -11 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP17SF11).
Taylor
My daughter is 11, plays in 12u and she uses an Axe bat, 31"/19 oz. What would a good composite bat for her that's not expensive?
adam
The cheapest, best model would probably be the 2017 or 2018 Easton Hyperlite.
Kyle J.
How does the Eaton Stealth Hyperlite -12 compare to the Louisville Slugger X12? Which of the two bats would you recommend?
Snapperny
Both of these bats will be similar in that they are softball bats made entirely with composite materials. This 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 stands out by offering an optimized sweet spot, and a connection point to minimize vibrations on contact.
Tyler
Will you re-grip for a lefty?
Phil
Unfortunately, we do not apply any bats grips here at JustBats. You can always purchase a bat grip and apply it yourself to this 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12.
Tyler
My sister plays high school softball, would this bat be suitable for her?
Jeff
The 2017 Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 would not be suitable for a high school player as this bat would be too light. A better option would be the 2019 Easton Prowess -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP19PR10.
Cameron
Is this bat legal for California high school?
Richard Sakaniwa
Yes, the Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is legal for high school play in California.
Tori
My daughter is 9, her height is 5'8” and weight is 130 lbs. What size bat would you recommend?
Jessica
We would probably recommend a 32" or 33" length for her height and weight.
Kyle J.
Are these approved for high school in Florida?
Randy
The Easton Hyperlite Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP17HL12 is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, SSUSA, and ISF governing bodies, so it will be legal for play in Florida High School Softball.
Logan
Looking for a bat for high school varsity level, and looking at a size 33"/21 oz. Would this bat work at that level?
Randal
This bat should certainly work for that level. However, if you consistently face very high velocity pitching, I would probably recommend a heavier bat like a -11 or -10 model, as sometimes lighter models do not hold up well once the velocities reach higher speeds.
Kyle
