* Click on each bat in the bat pack to get individual features for that bat
Cons: bent bat after 25 pitches
Pros: durability, price and drop weight there are not a lot of drop 8s for 7sa bats..fewer in this price range. sweet spot seems a bit larger than comparable easton drop 8s.
Cons: look, it is a $60 bat. it wont have the fancey materials to increase speed , grip, or sweet spot. dont pay $60 and expect the same performance and feel of a quatro.

Can this bat be used for Little League 12U? And what length is recommended for a 12 yr old 5' 3" tall player?
The 2017 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL17X38 is a USSSA approved bat, so it is not legal for play in Little League. The Intermediate (50/70), Junior League, and Senior League divisions of Little League baseball require the use of either a new USA certified bat, or a BBCOR certified bat. Based on your players age, I would suggest a 30" length.
Are there any differences in the 2017 model of this bat from the 2016 other than aesthetics?
This 2017 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL17X38) is the exact same as the 2016 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL16X38) with the only exception being the cosmetics featured on the 2 bats.

The 2017 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL17X38 and the 2016 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL16X38 have the exact same features aside from the cosmetics. The construction, technology, and material have not changed. The fifth batter in a line up is typically a power hitter. A one-piece, end-loaded model like the 2017 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL17X38 is a suitable bat for a power hitter. For your height and weight, we recommend a 33" bat length. However, there are not many senior league models that are offered in a 33" length so you will most likely have to use a 32".

You guys are awesome! My son broke his bat Friday evening and we couldn't find a composite anywhere locally. After breaking 2 bamboo bats in just a couple of months, we had to find a composite. We placed our order Friday night and paid for Monday delivery. It arrived early Monday afternoon - in time for him to practice... that night and for it to be passed around as a team favorite for Tuesday's game. Thanks for such great customer service, for offering speedy delivery and a great selection of composite bats!
