Pros: great right out of the box. lots of pop
Cons: needs grip rap
Bat Pack 2016 Mizuno Custom Classic Bamboo and Rawlings VELO Maple Wood Baseball Bats: MZB331 and PA110
* Click on each bat in the bat pack to get individual features for that bat
Pros: great right out of the box. lots of pop
Cons: needs grip rap
Pros: solid bat, minimal sting for a woody. very durable so far, taking at least 200 cuts at the local batting cage. looks real nice. used a franklin 1.2mm bat wrap on it.
Cons: a bit heavy. feels end loaded. maybe not a -3, could be a -2. have to really muscle a swing or you'll get stung.
Pros: love this bat, especially the low price from justbats.com. its almost half what youd pay elsewhere, and the bat itself is amazing. almost hit a HR first time out
Cons: sweet spot it a little hard to find, and tbe bat gets dirty hmvery easily but thats expected seeing as its all black
Pros: I use the bat in an adult baseball league. I've used it for almost every game this summer, and it has held up wonderfully. Hit a few near the handle and the bat has taken the punishment. It looks great. Very balanced swing. Doesn't feel too heavy (mine is the 33"). Great knob feel.
Cons: Pop isn't as great, but should be expected from a composite. Can still barrel up the ball and it has a nice feel coming off of the bat.
Pros: great balance big sweet spot great price
Cons: few drip marks in black causing minor bumps
Pros: the ball comes of the bat with a beautiful sound, havent had for too long so thats why there is a 3 but should hold up well since its maple $50 for this is a steal.
Cons: the bat is kind of slick, tape may need to be used, 3 for finish because it seemed the the velo letters on the bat smudged downward when recieved, It doesnt affect preformance but it doesnt look that great.
Pros: I love this bat, I got a JB19 for $140 but this bat is arguably better and it's at a much better price.
Pros: The Overall Quality is Great. It actually LOOKS like a Wood Bat. Most Wood Bats have so much paint and color sprayed on them they look like Aluminum bats. Not this One !
Cons: Like Most Maple Bats they all tend to feel a bit too heavy. Even this 110 Turn has some Heft Behind it. You really have to be a Stronger Player to use a Maple Bat. This bat is great for the Stronger Players, for Strength & Tee Work, and also Great for Loosening up the boys Muscles before a Practice/Game. The only Real Cons on this Bat was the Sprayed Lacquer had 4 small drips on the bat. Two drips around the handle and two drips on the barrel. I just took out my pocket knife and carefully smoothed out those areas. The other Con like I've said before is the Overall Weight /Feel , but adding a tacky grip ( We used all white Lizard Skin ) and the new grip really helps you to control the bat. A Tacky Grip is a Must ! I just feel that Kids in Little League and High School would benefit more from using a Birch, Ash, and even an all Bamboo Bat.
Pros: the bag feels very balanced and has very good pop. also feely very solid, i had problems with bats at similar prices feeling cheap and wood felt like it would break quickly. but this bat feels very good
Cons: slick handle, but nothing lizard skinz or tape cant fix
Pros: good finish, decent balance, good feel
Cons: not much pop, 2 1/2 barrel feels small
Pros: topheavy. good pop
Cons: topheavy. heavy
Pros: Pricing, good pop, sturdy feel, balanced swing
Cons: slippery handle, get some grip tape, I like lizard skin
Pros: Nice pop, and if you're looking for a cheap wood bat, this is the one to get! Also the finish on it was very nice!
Cons: This isn't really about the bat but more about the price. They say they are having a "50% off sale" and it says "Was $99.99!" but when I bought this, I got it for $50 no sale. So Just Bats, please stop lying to your customers...
Pros: The bat is beautiful. It is balenced perfectly for maximum velocity. I got this with a bat pack with a mizuno bamboo. This Rawlings bat is the best maple i’ve ever used
Cons: nothing bad to say
Pros: This bat really surprised me. It has a very nice sweet spot and a balanced swing. I didn't expect the ball to drive off of it, the way it did throughout my 2017 spring/summer/fall seasons... I had to make time to plug this bat, because I AM going to purchase another for this 2018 season; and I thoroughly recommend giving it a whirl at this price.
Cons: As others mentioned before me, it does have a slippery finish/handle. It also seems a tiny bit heavier then others, but that may just be in my head? Overall a great bat.
Pros: was a great bat with good feel for about the first 2 weeks
Cons: broke after 3 weeks. right down the middle
Pros: nice swing. good barrell
Cons: Bad bad bad bad duribillity. dull
