Pros: everything about the bats are good
Pros: Balanced, great pop.
Cons: Cracked in less than 2 weeks.
Pros: more hits, good price good feel and good durability
Pros: The Combat VIGOR is a great bat for the price. I bought the 2016 at the end of the season for $99.99 for my son to use in this fall , the 1st season on the 60/90 fields (13's). Hes a smaller kid and weighs less than 90 lbs. I bought a BBCOR bat but it was just too big and heavy. We bought this knowing it would only use used for a single year. He struggled at 1st but this weekend really swung the bat well and went 4 for 5. He likes the feel and the balanced swing weight. It looks like an aluminum bat but its really a single piece composite. Overall it's been a great bat for the short period of time that he's used it so far.
Cons: None yet. Has only been used for about 6 games. I will update the review if any problems are noticed.
Pros: Great sweet spot. Ball comes off the bat powerfully. Vibration has not been an issue. Swing feel is good.
Cons: Not crazy about the color.
Pros: Bought this bat 31x26 for my son to play one last season of travel ball before he tries to make the middle school team next year. He will be required to swing a -3 at tryouts. Bat feels really balanced and has a large barrell. He went through the proper break in procedure and the ball really jumps off this bat when hit on the barrell. The fact that this bat is selling at such a reduced price due to Combat no longer making bats makes it a no brainer. This is a top shelf bat
Cons: make sure you like the feel of a 1 piece bat. My son prefers 1 piece
Pros: didn't take long to break in this bat. good balance, good pop. we bought the 30/25 and it's a very nice transition bat.
Cons: none so far.
Pros: Good balance. Good pop and feel. I would say comparable to the more expensive Easton bats
Cons: Takes a fair amount of time to break in
Pros: Bat feels well balanced. Nice sweet spot. My son is ripping the ball with this bat right out of the box.
Pros: This bat is a steal for the price. I've hit with both this bat and the 2017 maxum and this one hits just as well if not better than the maxum and feels slightly lighter compared to the maxum. This bat is by far the best buy within it's price range
Cons: a little bit of vibration
Pros: great pop very balanced swing!!!
Pros: Excellent Bat for Travel Fall Ball Nice Barrel for good distance and speed
Pros: ut hits dingers and light
Pros: Today a local training facility had a Easton bat demo day, in which you could try all the new 2017 bats from Easton. My favorite bat that I tried was the XL3. Honestly, I tried the new 2017 Mako Beast XL, and I thought it had decent pop, but it felt like it had a heavier MOI (Moment of Inertia), or swing weight than the BBCOR version of the Mako Beast XL, and the Xl3. I also believe the 2016 model has equal or better performance than new Beast XL. The Xl3 is the superior bat this year because I feel like it has a much lower swing weight than Beast XL, even though they are both labeled as a top heavy bats. I also believe I can get my hand threw the zone much quicker because of that lower swing weight, and I believe both bats have great bats have great pop, but in my opinion if you hit the ball right, the XL3 has a much better feel on contact.
Cons: None yet on this astounding bat.
Pros: My son loves his new bat.

My son is 5'3" and 130 lbs. He is 12 years old and is ready to move up to a (-5). I'm thinking about purchasing him the 31x26 in this bat. Do you think this is the right size for him? Also, he had the S3 last year and dented/cracked 2 of them. Is this bat a lot more durable than the S3?
